Review:There is a serious problem with lack of authenticity here. Who or what IS Dr. Decker? A lack of information about the author or authors creates much doubt. There are NO professional credits given. After reading, my impression is as if visiting a Palm reader or fortune teller. There is a distant likelihood of being accurate assessing the future.

Review:I knew nothing about bpd before the person I started dating let me know about her diagnosis. I didn't understand her suicidal and self harm impulses or how to respond to them. Other things I'd read seemed to treat the disorder and my partner as something to be ashamed of but Dr. Manning's book has compassionate and functional advice that is helping my partner and our relationship.
