This is NOT your grandmamma's fairytale!
This is a dark, twisted perversion that should be read at night...under the covers (or not)
What big eyes you have! That's not the only thing that's big!
Red has been thrown to the wolves. She's the village's sacrifice for the wolves' protection. But they are not what they seem.
She must learn submission and obedience... and those lessons don't come easy. But pain and pleasure go hand in hand.
I loved that Snow and her Huntsmen were mentioned.
Note: don't eat the stew

Generic, weak heroine with zero spine. Generic, underdeveloped male characters. There should be a warning on this book that state that it is basically one long rape fantasy, where the girl stays with her 5 rapists and has their baby. If you like that kinda thing then this is the book for you.

I'm loving those dirty, filthy adult fairy tales!

WOW!!! These yummy, sexy, hot adult fairy tales are AMAZING!! Red & The Wolves is an intense read, one I couldn't put down once I started. Zoe Blake and Alta Hensley know how to write the PERFECT adult fairy tale!!

5 men were changed into wolves to protect the town hundreds of years ago. So now when the blood moon rises, the village must send the wolves a sacrifice in order to have the wolves protection from the evil in the forest.

When Red is given to the wolves as the sacrifice, they claim her in all ways. Red and her wolves is a SEXY, HOT read, and I can't wait to continue these dirty, dark fairy tales!

The second book in the dirty fairy tale stories by Zoe Blake and Alta Hensley and i have to say i liked this one better than Snow. Instead of 7 there are 5 man so it is easier to keep them apart and to give each of them a personality.

I liked Red, she hasn’t had it easy, but that didn’t crush her spirit or her big heart. Being with the wolves makes her feel loved and protected fort the first time and she learns things about herself she didn’t know. And even though she know it will get her in big trouble it doesn’t stop her for doing what is right and help the Wolves.

It is also a dark, filthy story just what you can expect for these two writers.

This writing duo has done it once again, the whole premise of this story is incomparable.
It's was an intense read at times,it was not comfortable or safe but definitely absorbing.
I fell in love with this book because it's more than just a fairytale. All of the characters have
damaged pasts that they have not dealt with, leaving them vulnerable.I was snared and
although it's fantasy, you will fall in love as it makes you squirm.Raina (Red) was raised by
her hateful grandmother who has a cold hearted, chilling agenda and intends to use Red
as a sacrifice.Every blood moon,a man must be sacrificed to appease the wolves.Five men
chosen to fight off the dark, evil forces.Red was chosen instead and after the harsh ritual,
she was forced outside the walls of the village.Confused,Red is claimed by animals in men's
skin. The men lived permanently in exile, keeping the village safe. The men are cursed beasts,
capable of fighting off the dark forces. The men are animalistic and rough but make Red's body
sing. They are predators, hunters, dominators and Red feels a strong connection with each of them
as they fight to keep her safe.Disobedience is dealt with swiftly. For the first time in her life,Red
feels a sense of belonging. This book was sensual, definitely twisted with five dominant men who
expected Red's obedience. An interesting take on a fairytale.

Uhm, hello, dark and smutty fantasy the second. This one was just as delicious, dirty and wrong as the first novella in this series. Alta Hensley and Zoe Blake are putting a twist on all our well-known fairytales like no other.

It’s taboo, questionable and still oh-so good. Yeah, these pages are mainly about original filthy sex – with not one but five different men, and in various numbers and combinations *shudders* - but there’s also some plot there, too, more elaborate than in the previous story, which is a huge plus in my book. I loved learning about Red’s backstory and how the men became the wolves everyone sees when looking at them. It gives some more depth and layers to the characters. And Red earned quite a few bonus points with her actions toward the end of the story.

Whereas the sex is rough, partly even somewhat dub-con, it’s not as hard and downright painful as in Snow’s story. The wolves’ focus is more on the submission than the pain – even Red’s punishment wasn’t as brutal as I almost expected it to be.

Yeah, the story is thick on the sex – it’s still smut, plain and simple –, but there’s a story there, too, and the wolves definitely show more emotion than Snow’s huntsmen. But don’t let all that fool you, this one still isn’t safe for work – or public of any kind, for that matter. Be sure to have your BoB or significant other close by – you just miiight need it/him.

I’m looking forward to the next filthy fairytale!

Wow another Dark steamy and very hot book from Zoe and Alta, i really couldn't put this down once i started it. I really loved this book, but i have to admit i had to do a chuckle when the authors have put a reference to snow and the Hunters, priceless!!!

From a very young age - Red(Raina)had been told about how five men were choosen to protect the village. The elders magic turned them into wolf beasts, to fight the darkness. They were cursed to live on as immortal beasts, and when the blood moon rises a sacrifice will be given to them, never to be seen again.

Reds Grandmother hates her, and unfortunately she is also an elder, so when the bloodmoon rises and because Red is now of age, she is choosen to be sacrificed to the wolves.
At first Red is terrified, but she dosnt see wolves she sees men Grimm, beo, Canis,Helm and Rood, each man is big and strong. Each man has their way with Red and each time Red loves what is done, but she comes to care for her wolves, so while they are sleeping she slips away, only to encounter the darkness, she is recused only to be punished. no more spoilers you really will have to read this.

Zoe Blake and Alta Hensley are extremely talented at re-crafting an old tale with a new twist. Plucking the fairytale of Little Red Riding Hood who visits her granny in the forest they instead morph it into a dark tale reminding me a little bit of M. Night Shyamalan’s movie, The Village, but push it even further. They upped the ante by adding a paranormal/fantasy level to the classic fairytale with a hearty dose of dark erotica.

Red and the Wolves is not for the faint of heart. I’ll be honest, sometimes even the dark moments pushed the boundaries of what I read, but the story itself is excellent and not like anything I’ve read previously. If you enjoy a good twist on an old tale, especially one that has a Shyamalan feel, then I will let you decide what your own boundaries are.

Long ago five men were cursed, turned into immortal beasts, only so they could protect the village from a dark force, their only payment once a century required a sacrifice.

The blood moon was rising. It was currently time to pay the price.

Red, the unwanted granddaughter of an elder, became that sacrifice to save her village.

"What big eyes you have, Red. Are you afraid?"

What a retelling! I thoroughly enjoyed this story, shockingly even more than the first in the series! I loved the magic behind the wolves, the fear of the Blood Moon and the threat overhanging them all. An imaginative twist to the original story.

Red and the Wolves was steamy as hell, with a bunch of kink thrown into the mix, it certainly made for a pantie-melting read. Phew!

There was a dark undertone throughout, the threat from the wolves and outside forces, it kept the story interesting, and as pleasurable as this read was, it had plenty of story to go along with it.

It was a wild and wicked ride, with fantastic writing and a plot that kept me rapt with interest. One of my favourite lines, "A shadow swallowing the light." Fabulous descriptive language.

Read if you dare, because these wolves dont just have big eyes, ears and teeth...

"Their sacrifice... for the wolves must be appeased."

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is an adult fairytale romance of Little Red Riding Hood. It is dark, twisted, hot and steamy, and it is written well. It is an okay read, three and a half stars.

I enjoyed this! It was a relatively short read, but a pretty hot one (and it still had a complete plot line). I had not read the previous book, but it didn't really impact my enjoyment of the book at all. I'd read it again!
