I choose this series just because I wanted something different to read. I'm now on my 9th book, just can't put them down. Riley goes through so much, you just keep cheering her on. The trials she goes through is nothing short of amazing for someone her age. Sometimes I put myself in her position and wonder if I would handle myself as well. I do find myself rooting for her kind...If you want something really different to read, just remember it's just a story, this has been a don't put the books down series. Really liked the series.

I wiuld definatly reccomend you buy this series, its the full first series and its free and yes it dores get a little boring and kinda seems like your droning on and on, but its one of those types that make you not want to put it down. Theres even a sceond series to exspand on Rylie's, Seth's, and Able's story.

Competently written YA novel. Hits the requisite trope buttons, but goes no deeper in character or story than necessary to tag these points.
Probably an enjoyable read for youngsters, but these don't offer any hooks to catch and hold the interest of a more mature reader.

The series is well suited for young adult and older (adult adult?) readers alike. Fun story with well developed characters. In the first few pages I remember thinking this is aimed at too young of a crowd but I'm glad I kept reading :) There some really fun / icky descriptions of what it's like to change into a werewolf, something I've not really read elsewhere. It's a good story, I recommend reading the series.

SM Reine brings to life a terrific, engaging cast of characters, great plot twists and a story that grabs you by the scruff of the neck and won't let go! Easily as much fun and compelling as many of the books written by far better-known authors, this series just kept getting better and better. Even the occasional grammatical misstep wasn't enough to distract me from the fun. Sure there is perhaps a moment or two of awkwardness, bad spelling or what have you, but it wasn't even close to being a deal breaker. Just great lycanthropic mayhem, a lot of romance and a fun fun FUN read! I'd have been more than happy to have paid for this one, and thrilled to get to read it free! Thank you Sara (SM REINE is her pen name) you ROCK!!

I really enjoyed this take on the werewolf mythos. The "books" are short, though and I read the compilation as one book, not 4 separate ones. That doesn't at all distract from the story, just how much you have to pay if you bought the whole series individually.

I love long multi book stories where the characters keep interacting. However this was more like one long book. Im still not entirely sure all my questions were resolved by the end, but its always good to leave the imagination wondering. Like so many other books of this genre a young girl has the unbelieveable happen to her and she is changed into a mythical creature. Suddenly this isn't so much a myth or a secret as apparently there is an entire underground society devoted to them, and their extinction. Falling head over heals with the guy who is trying to help/kill her..well she could make better choices. The relationships are well described between family members and they range all over the place between love and animosity.

Kylie gets sent to Summer Camp so her parents can get a divorce, then her dad dies suddenly, leaving her to grieve on her own. Then she is bitten by a werewolf, whom she must kill in order to rescue the young man she has fallen in love with. Unbeknownst to Rylie, Seth, her lover, is a hunter of werewolves, but he changes into her protector, and after many dangers, she finally wins the right to life and love!

I enjoyed this series! Unfortunately I read them out of order but I enjoyed the story lines in each book. The characters came to life as you read each page. The books were so intriguing that I would give up sleep to keep reading. It was nice to read a book that wasn't complicated. I'm sorry that I have read all the series. Love your books keep writing!!

I really enjoyed these books. An interesting version of the werewolf stories with some witches thrown in (without a lot of explanation of how they fit into the fictional world). The dedicated werewolf hunters were an interesting idea. And the interactions between the young hunters tracking werewolves and the young werewolves were a critical part of the story development.
I don't understand the comments about typos. Possibly some editing done since those readers' experience? I am quite conscious of spelling and grammar and was not troubled as I read the books.

Absoultely fantastic. SM Reine has become one my favorite fiction authors. The way she incorporates different stories to one main story is amazing. Moreover, the suspense and anxiety she generates is absolutely captivating. I even found myself laughing out loud and/or crying throughout her books. Seasons of the Moon is the second series I read of he's, and didn't find myself disappointed. I do hope she will keep writing more great books.

I really enjoyed these books. It is only make believe so you have to think out side the box. But love still wins and the right thing still meNs something. It isn't for everyone. Only if you enjoy make believe stories. I do. My grandson likes to read he is 16. If you can get boys to read any thing then go for it. He told me to read a book and I did so we could talk about it. A 16 year old talking to his grandmother about a make believe book. Love it

This series is warm, emotional, terrifying and FANTASTIC!! Following Rylie on her growth and adventures is a great experience. You really, really don't want to miss this or any other of the great books written by this lady. Make sure you don't miss out. Thus is really something you want to read. Over and over.

I really love the way this author writes.
This series is really interesting. The development of the characters and their intense interactions is really strong. And I loved the ending of the last book.
What maybe was a little bit off was the first book. Not as good as the rest of the series.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading all the stories together in this anthology. a big marathon reading that hopefully I will get to follow soon with the sequel saga.

Really liked this series. I totally love the explanation of the origin of werewolves. The whole why of it all. Could have used a bit more romance, maybe a reason why Seth could control Riley was whether or not he was a werewolf; he was still her destined mate. There for he could cross the line between them and reason with her, even in wolf form.

Amazing story telling! I was hooked from the first chapter. Even though the series is wraped up pretty good on its own, you must follow up with the cain cronicles. The story continues and only gets better!

Really enjoyed reading this book. It's exciting, full of fun and really had me hanging on to every word. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a refreshing getaway into a world where wolves are apart of them as they evolve in the story.

I felt like the mysterious world of werewolves had been opened up to me. I don't think I ever gave much thought about werewolves with the exception of the old Lon Chaney movies. Another viewpoint has opened up and I'll be there reading more!

The story of Rylie, Seth and Abel was very entertaining. The ups and downs kept you on your toes. Nice to see the Union Men in a better light. I would love to see Yasir and Jakob find love. I can't wait to start reading the next series The Cain Chronicles.
Buy it your love it.

I feel this series deserved five stars because I could not put it down. Rylie had to endure some very unfortunate situations, but they made her stronger in the end. This series highlighted that a pack/family can withstand the worst life has to throw at them. It was very exciting and I would defiantly read more books by AN Reine.

I loved this book so much because it unites human with wolf, combines the workings of mother nature and the conflict between dangers and humanity, it is also a really beautiful fantasy, the ending is so satisfying

I haven't really utilized my the store Free Lending program from my kindle and this being 4 books in one I decided to give it a shot. 2 days later, I finished the whole series, bought it and preceded to buy the Seasons of the Moon 4-part serial (The Cain Chronicles). The characters are really engaging and believable. You immediately become emotionally invested with the strife that Rylie has to undergo and you want to see her survive it through the very end.

Good YA story lines. Good vs Evil - Good wins Pretty clear explanation for werewolves, mixed in with a "love can conquer all" message.
All in all I became invested in the characters and enjoyed the read!

A lover of the paranormal, of any age, would like these books. Thank you SM Riene, for allowing these books to be available at low cost, as your target audience, the young reader, would not always have much to spend.

I've read the authors later series, the descent series and I thought that was better polished. You can tell these are her earlier works and they do get better from book 1 to 4. The story itself is awesome and draws you in. I'm gonna get the next four in the series when I'm done typing this.

My biggest complaint was the lack of awareness about canine/lupine biology. There is no need for the human knees to turn backwards. Canine legs may look different, but they have knees that face the exact same way ours do. Dogs and wolves walk on their toes. The backward part of the legs is the equivalent to our heel. That annoyed the hell out of me every time the author felt the need to point it out.
The sudden inclusion of witches and wicca with no explanation or foreshadow cheapened the story for me. I've been informed that they are explained better in the Cain Chronicles but I have no interest in reading those books, so they don't do me any good.
Not a bad set of books and certainly entertaining to read, so I might recommend this to others.
