This book is an absolute awakening. I would recommend it every soul I know. Truly heart warming and wonderful. It gave me hope and filled my heart. Rebecca Campbell is a hero and leader to rise up to. Be a light! #lightisthenewblack

First things first, the content writing of this book is written in a style that is equivalent to a blog and if you are aware of how a blog content looks, you will know what I mean when you see it. Each chapter, at best, is about one to three pages long. This style doesn't really bother me but to some, it may seem different or unusual. Now for the good stuff: The tone of Rebecca's writing appeals to the go-getter within me that sparkles my enthusiasm to identify my spiritual purpose in life. The author's real-life story comes when a specific theme throughout the book specifically on how to overcome the obstacles and how to reaffirm the light back into an otherwise darkened situation. I was referred to this book by a fellow light-worker who suggested I read it as a way to gain a modern perspective which I was thankful for. The author herself is very humble, in fact upon posting a picture with the book on my Instagram profile, the author commented and encourage my message of "spreading the light to others". I would suggest giving this book an open-minded try.

Had read the reviews, sounded like a really good book. Didn't like the style that it was wrote in and also most of it was about the author which I didn't really expect. To me there wasn't a lot of content or take away.

I would recommend this book to all young women. Although Rebecca's words came through as genuine and beautiful, the book was so redundant I found it difficult to stay with her thoughts for more than 15 minutes at a time. I felt as though I were listening to the passions of someone in their early twenties and that's why I would highly recommend this for a younger age group.

After carefully selecting several books to read, while on vacation, I quickly made an adjustment upon discovering Light is the New Black, by Rebecca Campbell. Although I was not familiar with her, I was instantly drawn to read her book as soon as it came across my path. It was the same pull I had, five years prior, to read Doreen Virtue's the Lightworker's Way: Awakening Your Spiritual Power to Know and Heal. Although I had no idea who either author was at the time, my soul knew exactly which way to guide me.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Light is the New Black! If you are being nudged in the slightest way to read this book, I urge you to do so. Don't overthink it, just trust that it is your soul guiding you along your path. No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, this book will enlighten you in new ways to shine your light. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down! I can't wait to read her next book (yes, I think there will be more...) She is a gifted writer and a beautiful soul! Thank you Rebecca for shining your light, so others may rise and shine with you!

This book is beautifully written and visually inspiring. Its the perfect book for using to deepen your practice or even begin one. It's not too beginners level and has great depth with quick, to the point, inspiration. I've read many spiritual growth & new age books and this one is a definite treasure!!
