This book was an awesome journey. It made me think and it made me laugh. Reading this book was like hearing me and my friends talk when we're around each other. It flowed. There was never a point where I wanted to stop reading. Luvvie's side-eye is refreshing and necessary. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who needs to think and laugh at the same time. Well done.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Luvvie is an awesome writer. I’ve been following her work since just before the 2016 election. I’m Judging You is witty and thoughtful and impactful, filled with all sorts of gems perfectly wrapped into much needed doses of comedy.

Livvie Ajayi takes some of the most important issues we face in Western society and presents them in a way that leaves you empowered to take action instead of with a desire to crawl under the covers with despair. If you're looking for a book to light you up to take charge and give back while also laughing your ass off, this is it.

This book was thoughtfully written and parts of it are absolutely hilarious. The well known song lyric, "a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down" comes to mind as I review this book. The audience laughs out loud as Luuvie Ajayi casts her pearls of wisdom to the very audience she is judging and admonishes to do better. This is a must read book!

Once I started this book, I was laughing along by page two and enjoyed it from beginning to end. Luvvie Ajayi has humorously tackled all of our worst social faux pas and effectively become this generations Miss Manners 2.0. If you enjoy a hot shot of shade with a healthy chaser of good common sense, this book is for you! Makes a great gift for every annoying person on your timeline too!

The book is segmented into 4 parts: Life, Culture, Social Media and Fame. In these sections, you will find the humor that we know and love as well as the conviction and truths that we have come to expect from Luvvie on social media.

It’s truly a manual to make us better. It’s not about making fun of others or cutting anyone down. She judges herself, first and foremost and then hands the rest of us a mirror so that we can catch a glimpse of the proverbial plank in our very own eye. Yassss! This book giveth and it taketh away.

Her words are connecting with me in a way that makes me want to savor the moment. This book is not a shot of Tequila. It’s a honey bourbon on ice best enjoyed on a porch swing while fireflies flutter nearby reminding you that you are real and this is magic.

This book met my expectations and more. I've followed Luvvie on Facebook through her blog AwesomelyLuvvie for about 6 years and she is witty, and funny; a shade thrower of foolery and side-eye goddess, and she did not disappoint with the book. I felt judged at all the right times and crackled even more. If you don't have this book. I suggest you get it, sit in the corner with a cup of tea and READ!

This book gave me LIFE because Luvvie put into words pretty much all of my feelings about the so-called "worst" kinds of people: bad boyfriends, body shamers, phobics of all kinds, frenemies and social media fame-seekers. What makes it so relatable is that not only do we all know at least one of these people, but we all have had these thoughts about these people, and for whatever reason choose to stay mum. She also makes it a point to mention that most of these offenders aren't inherently "bad" people, most are simply not self-aware...which might be worse, but it is fixable if you follow her guidelines to becoming a better individual.
Luvvie is ridiculously funny, insightful and witty. I would (and have) recommended this book to friends and family, or anyone else can handle a satirical look at all the ways humanity and propriety is spiraling out of control.
Anyway, I'm a fan and will continue to support Luvvie in all of her future endeavors.

I finished reading this the day after Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 presidential election to that man who I won't name. So much in this book was related to the issues surrounding that volatile election. Whew! Quite frankly, reading the last couple of chapters I had left is what helped me deal with the fact that over 50 million people voted for that man helping him to win. It took me out of the present-day reality and allowed me laugh, chuckle and cackle a little bit and I'll always be grateful for that. As a member of Luvvie's online community, I'm very proud of the work that she's doing and that she wrote this wonderful book. We all need to be judged. Especially in 2016. What a hell of a year.
