I enjoyed it. Bella Andre is a great author. Her stores keep me on the edge of my seat and I hate to put it down. This book as well as all the other ones i have read have five stars from me. Great reading!

You get to know and understand the struggles but also the passion of both Serena and Sean. You can't help but cheer them on, both individually and as a couple. Terrific character development and passionate love story.

While it makes sense to use Serena to bridge from the Sullivans series to a new series, I was leery when I read the plot summary that the book focused on Serena while she was in college. Given the romance formula, Serena will of course end up in a relationship.

Serena is just breaking away from her mother's influence so I'm concerned that she goes into a relationship in her first semester at Stanford. While Andre handles it fairly well - it doesn't start as a hook up and the relationship seems to benefit both Serena and Sean - I find it problematic that Serena doesn't have more time to discover who she is and what she wants to do on her own.

I love Bella Andre, especially the Sullivan series. I hope this series gets better. This one starts soft. I had a hard time believing that these two would be feeling or saying these things as college students! Waaayyy too young. I know to suspend belief while reading romance, but this asked too much of me. Writing ,as usual was exceptional, plot line was poor and characters shallow and undefined. Sorry,
