I actually got this thinking it was different. I like romantic novels but not this. I thought it was so awful and literally pornographic that I stopped reading it and drop it off my carousel and kindle.

Wow :) I looooooved this book, read it in like three days. I had some reservations at first, but GOD it picked up after like the first ten pages! This book made my heart burn because of how strong their love was! I especially liked the whole jealousy thing going on ;) however, the wedding ending thing was just the teensiest bit weak....i still thoroughly enjoyed it though :D:D::D:D

This was a satisfying afternoon easy read. It's full of emotion and heat and it's easy to follow. I will be reading it again for Luke! And I will also be reading more of Bella Andre's books. This is my first taste of her work and I am more than pleased.
Never Too Hot (Hot Shots: Men of Fire Book 3) :: Let Me Be The One (The Sullivans Book 6) :: Breathless In Love (The Maverick Billionaires - Book 1) :: Tempt Me Like This: The Morrisons (Volume 2) :: The Sullivans (Honeymoon Novella) (Kindle Single)

After nearly losing it in the operating room due to lack of sleep, surgeon Luke finds himself on the doorstep of his nemesis sister in law, Janica, who is on the verge of a canceling a threesome. Luke tosses out the other two guys so that he can finally take Janica this one time... When the hospital sends him on a forced vacation for four weeks to Big Sur, Janica finds him and is determined to turn their single night of pent up lust turn into a relationship. Can Luke give in and share his life with someone else?
What a huge disappointment. It's predecessor, Take Me was a steamy and well developed story that dove into the relationship of the protagonists (Janica's sister and Lukes twin brother), "Love Me" has nearly as many pages, but it you account for the enormous margins and large print, it is easily half the size, which means character development and plot take a back seat the many couplings of the couple. It reads more like a short story that would be included in an anthology rather than a stand alone trade paperback. I love a steamy romance, but also like a side of plot. If you take out those passages, there are about 30 pages of sappy dialogue and introspection. Overall a disappointing sequel all around.

I expected better writing from this aythor based on all the five star reviews, but the focus of this story was descriptive sex, not love which did not appeal to me at all. Also, the sex acts were dragged out and gave every little detail until they became boring; some chapters were composed entirely of Janica and Luke having rough, uncommitted sex. It didn't ring true for a bold, uninhibited, "wild" woman like Janica was supposed to be to turn submissive and needy when, after five years, Luke finally decides unilaterally to have sex with her while ignoring her wishes completely. This book fit in to the genre of erotica; it most definitely was NOT a contemporary romance! The characters were two-dimensional and, although the imagery was explicit, the mental pictures that I got of the multiple sex acts were not appealing so I would not recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a good love story.
