Since I Fell For You (The Sullivans)

I received the ARC for a honest review... and here it is.

Even when I know I'll love the next Bella's book, she manages to surprise me and bring me another wonderful couple.

Suzanne Sullivan lost her mother when she was a little girl, lived surrounded by brothers, cousins and a few women, fell in love with programming codes and became one of the most powerful women in the world of technology. Her intelligence is huge, as well as her charisma... but she does not believe is suffering serious risks in your professional or personal life. But her brothers Alec, Harry and Drake believe and hire a bodyguard for her.

Roman Huson is the best bodyguard that Sullivans know, he is able to protect anyone... but when his eyes meet with Suzanne's on the first day of his work, Roman realizes he won't be able to focus and make his job right. He knows his past and his life are dark and that he should not get too close to Suzanne... but it is impossible to hold close to her, he can not even stop talking about his darkest secrets to her. She is irressistible.

Despite their sad childhoods, and sad love stories of their parents, it is difficult for Suzanne and Roman resist the love that oozes from the pores of each other when they are together and when they have yet to witness one of the most beautiful weddings, one of Sullivans couples I love most.

As always want all future stories of the Sullivans, want more brothers, cousins, sons, grandsons ... I want the Sullivans never cease to grow.

I have read all the previous Sullivan series books and enjoy “spending time” with the family. This particular book focuses on the New York branch of the family tree.. specifically on Suzanne.

Suzanne is a brilliant computer genius who owns her own digital security company. She has been plagued recently by security breaches as well as stalking phone calls so her over protective older brothers decide she needs a bodyguard. Roman is hired without her knowledge and when she meets him at her brother Drake’s art show, sparks fly… not just because she is angry at her brothers but she is attracted to him as well.

Roman cannot believe how lucky he is to be able to spend time with her even though he has never crossed the line with a client. He tries to suppress his desire for her but struggles to continue to protect her without letting her know how he feels. Suzanne’s attempts to seduce him in order to make him quit just add fuel to his burning fire! Suzanne struggles to keep her head about her in dealing with her stalking/security issues but cannot help falling under Roman’s spell.

The book has elements of suspense, of humor, and of course romance (it would not be a Sullivan book without that! ) The storyline includes some of the “west coast” Sullivans so it was fun to catch up with their lives as well. I liked this latest installment in the series and was given an advance copy for review.

This is a great book! The Sullivan series just keeps getting better and better! This book is about Suzanne Sullivan from New York. She owns her own software security company and has been having attacks on her servers and receiving strange phone calls. Her brothers start to worry and decided to hire a bodyguard. Of course Suzanne is FURIOUS! Roman is the new bodyguard and talk about chemistry! Roman has never crossed a line with a client before. Suzanne decides in order to get Roman to quit she was going to attempt to seduce Roman. Roman has issues with commitment and Suzanne has issues since her mother's death when she was very young. So many twists! Many of the Sullivans appear in this book which I absolutely love! This is a must read book! I voluntarily reviewed an advance readers copy of this book.

The most consistent thing about a Sullivan story is loyalty...It’s always been a book family that I would love to be a part of and each couple has their own strength. Roman and Suzanne are the latest two who find their other half in each other, even when they don’t know they are looking for it.

Suzanne needs help, even though she sees it as a weakness and she is definitely NOT weak. Roman is a protector and he needs to protect Suzanne, especially from himself. I love the interaction between these two from the very beginning. It reminds me of another Sullivan couple, Jake and Sophie, how once the feelings are there, they are there to stay. It takes a strong woman to go for what she wants, to show those alpha males that it’s ok to need someone and to love. Suzanne is the epitome of a strong female who has succeeded in business to the max but needs to let go just a little in her personal life. Bella creates characters we love to read about but that we also can relate to. Not many of us have three family trees of successful millionaires and movie stars but we all understand doubt and fear of weakness and the need for love from a special someone. This is another knock out of the park for Bella and for the Sullivan family! Now let’s talk about Alec....

Slightly brooding, very sexy Roman has been hired by brilliant, beautiful self-proclaimed geek Suzanne...and she's NOT happy about that! Her very protective brothers have crossed the line, and she's determined to make this guy walk away and leave her in peace to run her very successful cyber-security company.
But who can predict that two seemingly different people will create enough sparks to light up a city! Suzanne can be intimidating, with a brain that doesn't quit and a heart, while battered by a family tragedy, full of love for friends, co-workers and family. Roman may have a great job and the respect of many, but underneath, he's still the plagued by insecurities based upon his upbringing.
This is just another example of the strong women and the men who love them (and who are loved in return), brought to us from the talented mind and pen of Bella Andre! While the Sullivan family is large and can be overwhelming in volume of stories, each book can be read as a standalone. But because of the wonderfully interwoven cameos by family members, I recommend reading them in order, at least by city. It's always nice to see old friends in new stories while watching each new couple find their HEA. Don't miss Suzanne and Roman's journey!

Sullivan Family Books are always amazing. I purchased the book & also volunteered to give an honest opinion to the Advanced Reader Copy to the author. Bella Andre's books keep the reader involved with all the characters, plus characters from other family & friends. Suzanne is the beautiful owner of a cyber security company. She had some threats and her over protective brothers hire a bodyguard, Roman, without her approval. Meeting before she knows, that Roman is her bodyguard, they have an immediate attraction connection. Once she is aware who he is, Suzanne attempts to make Roman's life a disaster, hoping he will quit. The story builds so much anticipation, once the threats are proven true. The mystery involves the entire family plus Roman & Suzanne, finally give into their attraction. Family reaction of them being a couple is not received well by others. Adding the other Sullivan Families to the mix, it connects the story until the conclusion of the book. Another amazing book by Bella Andre!

Bella Andre never fails to deliver and this book is another great read in her long list. I received an ARC for my honest review.
Suzanne Sullivan owns her own software security company and is very independent and successful. Lately, things have been happening to her files but she is determined to find out what is happening. Secretly, her brothers have hired a bodyguard for her because they are concerned about her safety. When she sees Roman at a party she is stunned by his good looks but when she finds out he is her bodyguard she is furious. She knows her brothers won't back off so she comes up with a plan. If she can seduce Roman into kissing her she knows her brothers will fire him. But the more time she spends with him the more she wants something to happen for real. Roman is determined not to let that happen. He can't have real feelings for any woman and he won't hurt her by having a fling with her. Can Suzanne be the one to break down his walls?

I was given this Kindle book by the publisher exchange for an honest review. I love seeing all the family members of the Sullivan clan. Suzanne is a head strong woman who isn't afraid to go after what she wants. When sparks fly between her and Roman her dreamy bodyguard. She and him quickly become an item. All the while trying to see who is behind the attacks on her software company. I love how Bella inter connects her other characters from previous novels.

This is one to definitely pick up for sure. I'm so glad and honored to have read another masterpiece by Bella. Cannot wait for more of her books.

Another great addition to the Sullivan saga. Suzanne Sullivan's brothers are very protective of her. So, when she starts experiencing some attacks on the technology both at her work and her personal phone, they decide to hire her a bodyguard. Roman has a standing rule to never get involved with a client he's protecting. She doesn't want a bodyguard but is instantly attracted to him. In addition to her being his client Roman thinks he's not good enough for Suzanne. Despite the examples of how love can go wrong that they've witnesses in their parents relationships, Suzanne and Roman are unable to deny their mutual attraction and how drawn they are to each other. It doesn't take long for them to realize they've falling for each other. They have to overcome the threat she's facing and then figure out how to win over her brothers. It won't be easy but they will find their happily ever after.

Love the Sullivans! Another smash by Bella Andre.

Suzanne, decided by her "overprotective" brothers needs a bodyguard and they choose Roman. Roman NEVER gets involved with his protectee but in this case he can't just help himself. Suzanne is having trouble with threats against her company and someone needs to protect her. Roman does not believe he deserves her, he cannot be the man she deserves. Suzanne does not believe this and shows Roman this as well. When there is a fire in her apartment Suzanne and Roman come together.

You will be inspired by the fierce and independent Suzanne showing her vulnerability but also her ability to who what a fierce woman she is. Your heart will melt as she begins to form a better relationship with her father.

And you are going to want some of Jerry's pizza as well!

Suzanne Sullivan is a cyber/digital security expert. She is strong, independent, sassy and very capable of taking care of herself. However, her three brothers disagree. When a few oddities occur in her life, they hire a bodyguard for her without her knowledge.

Roman Huson is a profession bodyguard and a friend of her brothers. He is the dark, brooding, sexy type.

When Suzanne and Roman meet, sparks fly, and not just the romantic ones! They fight the romantic ones, but are very protective of each other. I really liked that they got to know each other before falling into bed together.

I loved watching Suzanne stand up to her brothers, especially Alec. He was a total jerk.

Bella Andre always provides a good solid read. I love all the Sullivans and look forward to the next in the series.
