I highly recommend the entire series based on the Chinooks Hockey Team for anyone who loves to curl up with a good book that is easy to read. Rachel Gibson has a way of making you fall in love with each character no matter how different they are from one another. It's fun to recognize stories and characters from previous books. I like how each one is unique but intertwines with one another.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I laughed so hard a Georgie and John. I couldn't help but keep a smile on my face reading this book. I could relate to John's description of southern women always rattling on. This is a wonderful new writer! I can't wait for her next book.!!

A good book, humorous and at times funny. The love-like relationship is described very well. The attraction between the couple is well pronounced and all in all the love story gives you a feeling of well-being and Lexie was well loved by both parents who also both loved each other.....and in the end all got together as one happy family. For the sentimental reader it\s a good book to read.

I have Gibson's books in paperback and those that are available on my Kindle. SI was fine until the spelling fell apart. I consider this an issue with the store and not with Gibson. I recommend the paperback until the store allows us to have a better edited version on Kindle. As usual her writing is wonderful and in the book you get the real sense of what it must feel like to be "different" as the heroine has a learning disorder. I like all Gibson's works....even those I get angry about. Good writing every time.

Fun and funny this a sweet quirky and sometimes steamy story. Georgeanne was simply loveable and quirky from the beginning and what about John (fanning myself) granted I wanted to kick him from time to time but how could you not love him anyways I just wanted to kiss him! It was a fun-loving easy read made me mushy gushy all over! :)

This is a rerelease of an entertaining, pleasant read for a rainy afternoon. One major complaint though - the massive number of misspelled words or incorrect words. There were so many that it was a distraction from the story!

I was very surprised and disappointed by the large number of grammatical, spelling and editing errors in the kindle version of this book. I would expect it from a self-published book, but not from a well-known publishing company.

The thing I like about Rachel Gibson's romance novels is that her characters are smart and funny with distinctive voices and points of view. I love the juxtiposition of a romance set on the backdrop of professional athletics. It's filled with inherent incongruencies that make for a good read.

Nice and very detail romance novel. Keeps you occupied. Only thing is too much detail on protagonists looks or body languages sometime becomes a little boring. Could be edited on that. Giving it a four star.

There were a few grammatical errors and wrong words, but overall, the story was good. The characters were developed well and I found myself wanting to read more and more about Georgie's and John's love affair.

Love that incorporates hockey!! Such a good story line and even if you knew what was going to happen at the end you didn't know how it was going to get there. Definitely a good read and well worth the money.

I read this when it was new and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a well written witty romance with characters you can care about. The story holds up after all these years, such a good first effort. There are a few dated cultural references, but I found myself laughing out loud in places. I wish someone would take the time to edit the typos, this book is worth it.
