I really liked that Allison was so very intelligent, and so far and above her male counterparts in computers. She was very brave at times and was a strong woman. Liam was awesome, just would have liked to see a little more of him in the story. It was and awesome read ad i can't wait for Julie's next book, I keep rereading her past books, over and over. Love her books.

I agree with many of the reviewers who were disappointed in this book. I actually struggled to finish it. Neither character was very likable. The chemistry between Allison and Liam was nonexistent and the plot was extremely weak. Definitely not worth the purchase price and not up to this author's usual caliber.

Love Julie Garwood. Loved the character Liam Scott from Fast Track, glad he got his own HEA. Laughed throughout the book at the shenanigans (that word fits) of the heroine, Allison Trent; I want her for a BFF.

The plot and characters of this book are basically the same as most of Garwood's previous contemporary novels: hot, stoic law agent meets gorgeous, quirky heroine with cartoonishly evil relatives; they fall in love, though it's not made exactly clear why they are so drawn to each other, particularly because the guy is pretty unexpressive and disappears for periods of time without calling but isn't really questioned about it and is forgiven for hurting the heroine's feelings even though he doesn't explain or apologize. Allison, the heroine, is very smart yet amazingly naive and kind of boring. Liam, the hero, can't stay away from Allison, except for the week-to-two-month stretches where he disappears because he doesn't want a serious relationship. He also leaves a lot right after they have sex, and the sex scenes are pretty vanilla and have similar descriptions as in virtually all of Garwood's books. I don't really get a sense of powerful love or meaningful attraction between the characters. An acceptable way to spend a few hours but wishing I hadn't spent the money. I had bought this book two years ago, but its release was incredibly delayed. Not really worth the wait or the money, but I guess I laughed out loud once or twice, so not a total waste.
