I enjoy the interplay of all of the characters, the multiple points of view and perspectives was very engaging for me as the reader. I was drawn into this alternate world. I have enjoyed reading this series again.

Kahlan and Richard's finallying be married was a great start to this book. Before Richard and Kahlan could enjoy it. Taken thought one battle after other in they're fight for freedom. Like I said great book.

Another great offering in an vastly entertaining series. I've been held captive since the first Sword of Truth book...keep 'em coming Terry! My only criticism would be the lack of proof reading - several misspellings made it into print, but that doesn't detract from the great storytelling!

In a continuation of their story, Goodkind has found the moment when Richard's faith in truth may finally be questioned. The world of life is in peril and they must choose between Faith in the truth and what must be done to save everyone. Absolutely a must read!

This story definitely took some time to develop but Goodkind has a knack for tying everything up in spectacular fashion. The new antagonists were especially devious and I rather enjoyed Dalton Campbell's revenge.

All books from The Sword of Truth series are fascinating and interesting. This book isn't exception. There are few fantasy writers who can create an imaginary world that feels like real Terry Goodkind is one of them. I liked reading all of his books in the Sword of Truth series (I've read 5 so far). This one is as good as previous. I can't say that this book is better, because all books in this series are for me like one good story.

Well thought and entertaining read. A good sequel for sure. The only flaw is a bit repetitive explanation on already known things in the book. I swear if you cut those the book will be good 50 pages slimmer...

I really enjoyed the books before this one.... Honestly, I skimmed the book after about the first 50 pages. I would rate this more like .5 stars. Bummer because so far the series is good. I am skeptical about the next book now...

While I have enjoyed the overall storyline, this is the black sheep of the series. The novel the other ones don't want to talk about.
This installment is a pain to read. It leaves you with a bad taste in your mouth and thinking 'What was the whole point of the last 600 pages?' The only good thing is that all the people you grow to loathe (and in an 'oh please don't make me read more about him' way not an 'oooo, he's so evil and bad' way) end up dead in the end never to return. The only bright spot I can remember was how one of the nobles got revenge on his religious based king and his cheating wife.
I recommend the series. It is entertaining and enjoyable, but I also recommend to go from book 4 to book 6. You can totally skip this book and not miss anything in the series.
