Excellent book, easy read as the true stories really let you know what really goes on in media and if it wasn't for the people of Project Veritas we never would know. They should receive as much funding as NPR.

Just getting started, but this is fantastic. Mr. O'Keefe's logic is flawless and his effort is monumental in bringing down the US "Pravda" that is the left thought and influence machine that's been lulling this giant away in slumber for far too many decades. There are so many victims of the real fake news agenda, including our children. Look at the hidden effort to take down charter schools, especially in Ohio. Mr. O'Keefe has his sights set on so many of the critical gears that need "lubrication" for the public to begin to get a proper and true perspective that's been hidden from us for far too long.

Thank you for your effort and thank you for taking the time to document your observations and experiences. Your courage and adamantine conviction are of absolutely incalculable value for our great nation that's finally beginning to awaken.

James first book was amazing and this book does not disappoint! I would love to find a signed book somehow! I have been following him for about a decade now ever since I saw him at a Chersterton conference and have been so proud of his work! With his latest work inside Twitter, I have been so thankful! O’Keefe is just what America has needed and thank God that we have him! May he never stop and I look forward to what he will come up with next! ‘Do Columbia’!

About half way through the audio version and can't wait to finish it. I find it very compelling as Mr. O'Keefe give the stories behind the videos in which he presents to us. He always stays true to his mission, "never lie to your audience."

This is an eye-opening expose of the degradation of American Journalism, and of one man's fight to restore journalism to is historic purpose: to uncover and report the facts and tell the truth. The books reads honest, it feels like the author is telling his real story--I believed him that these things really happened. The author's main point is to shake up the public to understand when we are being fed propaganda, so that we understand the real state of affairs in our country. Does our current press and media tell the truth? You decide after reading this book. The book is not divisive, or political; the book is digging for facts and telling what happened while they were digging. If nothing else, you have to give Project Veritas moxie and hutzpah credit: they've got it in spades.

James O'Keefe brings sanity back to journalism. American Pravda is a must read for anyone who is fed up with the Fake News Establishment Media and all of their lies. Project Veritas looks to even the playing field in which the liberal media has an overwhelming advantage. Please keep up the good work!

I came, I saw, I conquered. This explains O’Keefe. He is fighting the good fight, and has written about it here.

Over 2000 years ago, Marcus Tullius Cicero wrote with elegance and wit about many things. He wrote, “The first duty of a man is the seeking after and the investigation of truth.” Mr O’Keefe is doing just that...fighting for the truth. What he has found was also explained by Cicero as, “One falsehood leads easily to another.”

Why? Freedom is a possession of inestimable value......Cicero.

Read the book to get some of that freedom. It’s be in style for thousands of years. Or not.....your choice to live as a sheeple.

James O'Keefe is bringing back undercover journalism in an era when the mainstream media have become nothing more than propagandists and cheerleaders for the Democrat Party. Just as one could not expect much from Pravda journalists when it came to investigating the Kremlin, the same is true for most of the so-called "mainstream" (i.e., liberal activist) media. However, by going undercover into many of the institutions that have become corrupt, such as the media, government, and Silicon Valley, he has shed light where there was darkness. When people think no one is looking, they will act in a particular manner. By going deep into these institutions, it is making the people who work there more aware that there is always a chance that someone might be listening and to act appropriately. And someone may indeed be listening ... Let's shed light on every institution of our society, with the goal of eliminating corruption, illegal actions, and collision between dominant institutions.

If Hillary Clinton won the election, O'Keefe would be in prison as did Obama put Dinesh D'Souza in prison for ridiculing Obama.

James is a fantastic Patriot who is devoted to the Constitution. He was targeted by US Customs and Immigration during Obama's presidency because he heaped ridicule on a Texas ICE boarder area when he donned an Osama bin Laden costume, traipsed across a river from Mexico into the USA and miles to the Interstate 10 highway unnoticed. O'Keefe's form of genuine journalism is unorthodox and immensely effective. This form of guerilla journalism seems to really offend desk jockey journalists who are often mere propagandists.

What one of O'Keefe's messages is - is that we cannot any longer trust the MSM who are mostly foolish, unworthy pawns who are indifferent to truth which is real and cannot be broken while their fake news wanders all over the map, and would likely not recognize truth if it stared them in the face. Sad!

Clearly, with all of the government/political corruption supported by willfully complicit members of the MSM, America desperately needs those who provide truths based on facts gleaned from REAL investigative journalism. Many political, governmental, and media entities doing bad things provides a target rich environment for honest journalism. In just a few years, O'Keefe's Project Veritas took on and either destroyed or punished giants such as ACORN, voter fraud (still ongoing), those who murder the unborn for cash, the depth of mostly Democratic and union corruption undermining of the electoral process, violence directed at honest people, etc.

There are those who are convinced that O'Keefe's excellent and timely reporting caused Hillary's quest for the Presidency to tank.

This is an excellent book! It’s refreshing to see a group of journalists trying their hardest to tell truthful stories. It’s getting near impossible anymore to find a journalist who seeks to tell the truth. This group of journalists are not quoting others comments but posting the person’s own words. The media who cries fowl at being taped should know better than most that someone is always listening, and probably recording. Thank you Mr O’Keefe, I couldn’t put your book down. You and your organization is so necessary.

James O'Keefe is courageous, inventive and a great writer. I enjoyed this account of how Project Veritas does what it does -- it's an exhilarating read. Hopefully American Pravda will inspire others to take up the cause of reporting the truths that the media tries to hide. Now or in the future ... because the struggle goes on one generation to the next. This book keeps the tradition alive.

Outstanding, honest, straightforward. Bought it on Audible and listened almost straight through. The people O’Keefe records use positions of public power, funding, influence, or trust. O’Keefe’s recording of their statements of their plans, intentions, and abuses - that the subjects wished had remained hidden from view - reveals usually the fundamental lying and deception underlying the subjects public lives. The subjects’ counterattacks on O’Keefe - by lawfare, claims of wiretapping, or invasion of privacy - are revealed as just a furtherance of their original deception. May nearly be a “must read” for anyone interested in what journalism is, should be, and can be now.

It’s James O’Keefe writing about ‘truth’ and LITERALLY using the Russian word.

O’Keefe makes the Ministry of Truth look like a book of mathematic proofs.

Remember, he’s been sued multiple times for LYING. There’s a case as of today pending in court.
Further, EVERY investigation of the organizations O’Keefe smears has vindicated the organization and PROVED O’Keefe was peddling bull.

Don’t support him, don’t support liars in general.
If you’re honestly concerned about fake news, stay as far away from this book as possible.

Having been successfully sued for slander, libel, and defamation multiple times with out of court settlements totaling in the millions of dollars paid to people and groups which were lied to, misrepresented, and manipulated by the author wasn't enough. Having lost every appeal on these lawsuits, the man goes off and writes a book.

I was able to get a free copy because someone had bought literally hundreds of copies from the store to pump the ratings and dropped the box off in front of a salvation army. They said they were just going to take one copy and recycle the rest. So I got my free one.

Every single lie and false equivocation is in here. Ad hominem attacks, cherry-picking, demonization, defamation, intentional vagueness, scapegoating, smearing, straw manning, it's all in here in some perverse way to grease the machinery of the sloven democracy-hating, corporate boot-licking masters that he has so skillfully dedicated his career to.

If you think every court case was a set up and every judge and jury were in on some conspiracy instead of the much more likely story that he's just a total liar, then go ahead, eat this up. You're being suckered.
