I really enjoyed this latest offering by Theodora Taylor. She never disappoints.

Millicent is a young woman with no family living in a foreign land and working at a job she hates all because life has dealt her a crappy hand. She's dealt with life threatening illness. Her job pays the bills.
Unfortunately her boss is Iain Scottswolf. He's a perfectionist, insufferable and downright mean to Millicent. But could his coldness towards her be hiding something deeper?

I won't lie and and say that I wanted Millicent to REALLY go off on Iain, especially for his reaction to her last prognosis. She needed to slap some sense into him one good time. But he did love her and in the end he came through. His devotion to her once his love for her was revealed was touching. The supporting cast was good and there's definitely sparks flying between the best friend and brother.
I can't wait until the follow up. Just Buy it! You won't be disappointed.

If you were suffering from withdrawal after the last issue of Theodora Taylor's Viking Wolf series, fret no more, because Iain and Millicent is here to feed your addiction. If what you need is a bossy, rude, arrogant, hot, sexy as sin, easy on the eyes, muscular, alpha male wolf shifter, then Iain is your man. Iain has a big secret that he's been keeping from his meek assistant Millicent. He's known since the moment he met her that she was his, but his secret kept him from claiming her. Now Milly needs his help and not even an oath of secrecy will stop him from not only saving but finally claiming what was meant for him all along.
Milly and Iain's story filled the void for me for a hot paranormal romance. There was just the right amount of confusion, drama, and hot love scenes to satisfy my romance addiction. At least for the moment. I give this one 5 howling stars!

I liked this book. It was intriguing, heartfelt, interesting, and heartfelt. I enjoyed the happy ending when Milly got cured of cancer by Iain, who was secretly in love with Milly from the moment he meet her. A good romance novel Theodora Taylor.

I love Secretary storylines, add a Wolf in the mix, you got me! A quick read for me (since I am a slow reader) I wanted it to continue. Milly & Iain are so cute. I will await Tara & Magnus's adventure and hopefully meet Milly & Iain again!

Thoroughly engrossing plot with a heroine you can't help but identify with despite the death sentence hanging over her head. And a truly yummy hero, though our naïve (in a good way) heroine doesn't discern his interest in her. But it's there and he does his best for her despite familial objections. Did wonder what happened in Italy, how Iain's relationship with Valentina worked out--the full reason why she left his father in the first place. Maybe it's a puzzle for a future book in what I hope is a series-to-be. But I did love the emotions, the 'feel' of this book, the descriptions and the locale (I'm a sucker for anything Scottish). Can't wait for Tara and Magnus' story--their contentious relationship now bodes well for a bodacious sequel! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.

Theodora Taylor never ceases to amaze me with her incredible writing skills. I really enjoyed Iain and Milly's story. It was short, but sweet. I would love to read Magnus and Tara's story. Great job, Ms. Taylor.

I enjoyed reading Her Scottish Wolf. The story line takes you on a historical adventure back in the time of the Vikings. The main character has a unique opportunity to compare modern inventions to primitive necessities a thousand years later, but the added bonus for me is that werewolves and romance were involved.

They are together pretty much every day. She arranges his one night stands and affairs in every way from sending flowers and gifts to making the hotel reservations and responding to the OW texts and calls. For three years. All while she is in love with him. At the end he reveals that he loved her from the first meeting but slept with and had relationships with these other women because he chose not to be with her. AND THEY ARE BOTH FINE WITH THAT, NO APOLOGIES.

I'm glad so many people buy cheating books and love these kinds of stories. Not me. Returning for my money back.

I always love Theodora's books & this one was no different. The relationship between Milly and Iain was complicated but u could tell he had a reason for acting as he did. Iain was adamant that Milly was not going anywhere, so he did whatever he could to keep her with him. I'm glad Milly didn't put up a lot of fight once she understood how their new relationship works it made for a smoother transition of their relationship & a little less confusion, that's one reason I love this story. Also, it's always good to see a different side to the wolf Kingdoms and the dynamics in this Scottish Kingdom was very interesting but it allows for the expansion on the world Ms. Taylor has created. Great Story!!! ??????

Another great book by Theodora Taylor! Millicent was working for the boss from hell - our hero Iain when she learned she had terminal cancer. This spurred her to make her remaining time her own which meant no longer bending to the whims of her boss. However what she doesn't know is that Iain is a werewolf and she is his mate. I liked this spin on the shifter romance as Theodora did a great job explaining werewolf laws and describing the journey to a HEA for our hero and heroine. The book was plenty steamy and I loved the hilarious banter from all of the characters. Hoping Theodora decides to write Tara and Magnus's story next. Great read!

Let me just say that Ms. Taylor never disappoints. She always bring exciting story lines and great characters to her books. This one was no exception. I loved Millie, she was a sweet heart. She put up with a ton more things than I would have with a boss. I loved how innocent she was throughout the entire book. Iain was not my absolute favorite male character of Ms.Taylors. I think it was because we didn't find out his true feelings and commitment until later. He did redeem himself towards the end so he still stays on the list for hot alpha werewolves.
All in all a really good read. Plus, it's in Scotland, you can never go wrong with that.

Theodora Taylor is one of my favorite authors and with the book I see why. Theodora has a way of writing a story that gets you so caught up that you loose all track of time. I started this book early one morning and I didn't move from my bed until I finished it in the early afternoon and I was so so sad that it had ended. I wanted more.

I automatically like Milly and I felt so sorry for her that I almost cried. Iain was an ass in the beginning, but once things started unfolding, I changed my mind. He was aggressive, bossy, sweet, and lovable.

This is a must read!!

Iain is such an overpowered .......... Milly has such a meek soul and she is battling a life altering ...... Not only does Milly have to tolerate the bully, she has to account for her health as well. Iain is a boss that I would steer clear of if at all possible but fully tolerate if it meant that I can be handsomely compensated and afford health insurance as well as everyday necessities and desires. Iain is running out of time to make his feelings known to Milly. Milly is determined to live out her bucket list and wants to resign. Who will win the latest battle?

Theodora does it again!!! Easy read, along the same vein as her Viking Wolves books but different setting. I like the lead male Iain but Millecent was a bit annoying. I like how Theodora set it up to create another book with the characters of Tara & Magnus, can't wait for that one!!! Overall good book.

?? Her Scottish Wolf was everything delightful. It was sweet, sultry, and sexy. Iain Scotswolf won't be winning "Boss of the Year" if you ask Milly. For three years she has endured his surly, rude behaviour. Pushed to her limit upon receiving devastating news, Milly tenders her resignation which Iain callously rejects. Unbeknownst to Milly, Iain sees her as much more that his secretary. This book by Theodora Taylor is a must read.

I read an ARC of this book.

I love the chemistry between Iain and Milly. What I didn't like was how the story felt unfinished, like it was abruptly cut off. I feel like the story could have been fleshed out more in giving us a bit more insight or perspective of both Iain and Milly. I felt like I couldn't get to know or connect with the characters well enough, and I enjoy feeling like I'm invested in the story. Surprisingly enough, I was more interested in Magnus & Tara.

Give us an epilogue, or somethin! I was fully expecting to read up on the birth of the baby, but no dice. Literally, I was like, "that's it?" It really makes me wonder if Theodora has spoiled me with great stories, or if I am just being greedy.

Really enjoyed the book. Loved Milly and Iain chemistry especially when it got down to the sex scenes. I wish that it was told from Iain perspective also and not just Milly's. That's the only difference I see from this book compared to Theodora Taylor's other books. Hopefully there will be a separate story for Tara and Magmus. With his straight up alpha personality and her no sh#t taking quick to throw a punch attitude I know they will be fire together.

Ms. Taylor has done it again....
Milly has a crush on her overbearing boss Iain. She was content working for him as long as she keep her benefits until she received bad news that changed everything for her. Being the jerk Iain is it seems like he doesn't care. But he does and that's when the mayhem arises.
I enjoyed the chemistry between them. Plz keep the stories coming.

I can't wait until Tara and Magnus get to tell their story.

Theodora has outdone herself again! Ever since I started reading adding this author, I am on pins and needles awaiting new releases.
I must say, I was apprehensive with the heroine at first. Never read a book with her specific "qualities". It ALMOST turned me off, but I decided to forge ahead. SO glad I did. Without giving away spoilers, let's just say that the hero turned out to be a hero in the biggest way! Hot, quick read.

I really enjoyed this book. The last few books I have read by this author were good to me but I'm used to her books being in the excellent category. This book is a return to that expectation. I loved the whole premise. No jarring out of the way conflicts or plot twist thrown in an effort to create excitement. Now I'm just excited to wait for her next book.

Iain and Millicent destined to be together but will fate keep them apart? As I'm British I really liked reading about a location I could related to. So thanks Theodora. The pace was good. Iain was in love at first sight or is that first sniff? Millicent loved him at first sight but couldn't stand him. Would Iain's world of rules keep them apart? No. If there's a will there's a way. And they find it. Can't wait to see how Tara and Magnus turn out.... They will burn up the pages I'm sure.

I received this book for free for an honest review, although the book wouldn't download to my phone so I had to wait to read it for free with my Kindle Unlimited subscription. After the first few pages I thought the book would go a completely different way. It was smooth and sweet. The only downside to the book was the length. I read it in less than two hours. All in all it was a great book. Theodore never disappoints.

There are two books in this book. First is about a werewolf that falls in love with a human with cancer. The second book is about a black female werewolf who is fate mated to a time traveling red headed Viking King while being engaged to a werewolf Prince. Both books are well-written with well-developed characterization. Second book should send you to the giggles. Adult readers due to sexual and violent content.

I love anything Theodora Taylor writes, this book included. I was a little disappointed that the book was short. I wanted to know more about the main characters in the book. I also felt the book was rushed and ended abruptly. I am anticipating the next installment of the series. Which I know Theodora will definitely make up for this book. Besides that I thought the book was an excellent read.

I absoulety LOVE shifters books and this one definitely DID NOT disappoint me!!! Ms Millicent was seerctly in love with the big bad wolf her boss and she had no idea who he truly was. Iain did his best to keep his identity undercover but the sexy mouse Millicent made him loose all control. If shifter books are your thing then you should definitely give this book a try. It was AWESOME!!!

I really enjoyed this story! What a great read! The only criticism that I had with this story was that it was a short read and was a bit too fast paced. I wished Theodora would have wrote more about the love and understanding of the love as it developed between Iain and Milly. I also wished that we had heard more from Iain and Magnus' father. I would have loved to hear how he views Milly and Iain. Does he approve or no? I hope Ms.Taylor does another story on this family soon, and continues their journey. Also just a thought...maybe Magnus and Tara could become a couple....? Think about it Ms.Taylor! lol

Enjoyed this book. Not my first time reading Theodora Taylor and this compares to her other novels! At first I was a little put off by how unreasonable Iain was with Milly. As the story progresses I fell in love with this couple and the direction of the story. If you love an alpha male and a female that comes into her own true self....1-click. You will not be disappointed!!

I loved this story! It was different from her previous shifter stories and I couldn't put it down. I didn't like Lain Scotswolf in the beginning of the story. I thought he was a rude, inconsiderate, crank. My thinking quickly changed when the reason for his actions became clear. I would really LOVE to see a book featuring Tara and Magnus. There were definitely sparks flying between them. I can only imagine how that book would go down.

Another solid story from Theodora Taylor. Albeit short, it was thoroughly enjoyable. This was a rather kick butt story of secretary and boss. The Scotts man had me so annoyed, I so wanted Milli to tell him to have several damn seats. Whatever the case, love prevailed and it was a good HEA. Good feel good story and I would definitely recommend.

Another great one! Just when I was worried there wouldn't be anymore Viking shifter stories, the Scottish shifters show up to save the day. While Iain did make me want to punch him sometimes, he and Milly were great together. I really liked the story and was super sad when it ended. I definitely want to read more about these two. I also can't wait to see what will happen with Milly's roommate and Iain's brother. :)

I enjoyed this story. From the meek secretary to the brooding boss and the mystery around him and his family. If you have read shifter book you can pick out the signs that he is a shifter and a few other things, but they do not take away from the enjoyment of this book. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I love these werewolves! loved Milly & Iain - (Please give us a Tara & Magnus story) Chloe & Fenris (I loved them even more! The characters all have personality & you quickly get invested. Thank you for switching back & forth between the characters POVs. Thank you the twists & turns & of course the HEAs.

This was a great read!! Theadora Taylor has done it again !! Milly is working for an uptight boss with strange as heck rules and just trying to be the perfect efficient worker until her doctor gives her bad news and surprisingly Milly's relationship with her boss takes a weird unexpected turn for her.

I loved this story!! My only problem was the length! It almost felt like the story was just starting just as it was ending. But even though it was short, it was well paced and a full story. I just wanted more.
It was very reminiscent of Theodora Taylor's other wolf series, just set in Scotland.

Cute, sexy, funny. All these words describe this book by Theodora Taylor. I love Iain and Millicent so much! I was expecting their tale to be more like the other wolf stories but it wasn't. And the change is great. I'm literally panting for Tara and Magnus' story!!!

OMG, Theodora has done it again! I loved the Wolf shifters series, so this book was everything! Job well done! I would give this book 4.5 STARS! I wish Milly was a little stronger, and stood up to Iain, but in the end it worked out! Can't wait for the next book!

Despite the short length, this was an intensely engaging read! I appreciated how much attention was given to even the smallest details. I felt as though I could see and smell what was happening. Sweet little Milly has her work cut out for her with her meticulous boss, Iain. I love how their story ends, and I really hope Tara and Magnus get a story too!
