I desired to be a natural healer. I never understood the Reiki stuff with all the symbols. However, this is beyond reiki, symbols, years of study and atonement's. You will start feeling the healing frequencies instantly just from reading the book. It's kinda freaky. I have helped people from breathing problems all the way to helping people with erectile dysfunction. Bottom line: it works. The author also offers certification classes. You want need to be certified. Why? You will automatically become certain. And those you perform a healing on will know it right away!

The way we understand ourselves is yet to be discovered. This book gives you a way to recognize and feel how we are all connected and part of the same matrix.
It gives you a glimpse of how we support each other and in a way we are defined through others as well as others are defined by us in a compassionate caring system.

I had been searching for answers, this book answered many. Approximately 40 years ago, I experienced spontaneous healing of stage 4 Hodgkins Disease. I was already a Chiropractor and deeply involved in metaphysics. Dr. Pearl has me understand how it may have happened.

I read this book without any previous knowledge and during reading I got a completely new understanding of how we function and how we ourselves can make a difference concerning our health. To mainstream medicine it must sound very provokative, but since we can do no harm to anybody it is well worth trying out what Dr. Eric Pearl suggests.

This book is full of great and valuable information, written is such was that made me understand deep and philosophical issues that I have dealt and deal with in my life. It changed my life. Since I read the book in Nov 2008, I have gone to do the actual Reconnective Healing, The Reconnection and ultimately became a Reconnective Healing Practitioner. It is March 2009 now.. Doing this work has expanded my mind, has put a meaning to many thoughts and experiences that I have had and ultimately, has shown me a great way to enjoy my life.
If you are sceptical, just read the book and then check in with your scepticism.

This was a fascinating story of one man's excursion into 'energy healing'. Dr. Pearl comes across very humble and honest. I liked his simple way of describing his experiences and things that happened in his practice.

I am wishing I had paid attention to other reviews.
Rarely will I leave a review on a book like this, as it is a realm of discussion that is purely personal experience. But, this one I will make an exception for.
As another review points out, there are some good points in this book, but, none that you won't find elsewhere.
Also, as it is written, the writer desperately wants you to know how different he is. And, he almost made me feel that since I didn't have the same background as he, I would never achieve what he is capable of doing.
We are all special and unique and capable of healing ourselves and others. Most of us have not been told this. In the studies of Qi Gong, Reiki or other energy modalities we can learn how to use the energy to heal.
I would purchase a different book if I had the chance.
Sorry, to leave this review, but there are far better books on the subject and none that make you feel so insignificant.

I have asked several people the question "If you could learn a technique that could help others to heal, and to heal yourself, would you be interested in learning to do it?" Surprisingly many people said, "No, I don't believe in that stuff". They wouldn't even try! I, however, was so inspired by this book that I traveled thousands of miles to take the amazing weekend course offered by the Author of this book. It is an amazing story and you don't need to attend a class to do what he is bringing to us in this book. I was feeling the energy just from learning the basic steps he teaches in the book. You can do it too! My 15 year old nephew is now able to do it. Neither you, nor I are the healer. It is God/Source/Universe energy. Check out this book, try it and then you decide. Let's get started to heal this world!

this book is a great read with very practical information for any aspiring healer. I was tempted to skip the beginning, which talks about the author's story, but I am very glad that I didn't. I found his background story very interesting and helpful.

Maybe because it is founded in the actual experience of the writer, reading this book has become experience. Life changing one -without too much noise, just there-: some books are able to transform the reader.

I recommend this book to everyone who is interested in knowing beyond the visible in a grounded and realistic way.

It becomes a symbol, a resonance: a rare piece nowadays.

Cause I watched the Movie The Living Matrix and I founded excellent. I do believe in alternative medicine and this movie explore
this new dimension and improve my knowledge. I highly recommend this book!
