I loved "Unwanted Wife" and was looking forward to Ms. Anders next book. I was not disappointed with "A Husband's Regret". I started reading and could not stop and similar to "Unwanted Wife", I found myself tearful more than once, while reading.

There is something about both of these stories and Natasha Anders' writing that gets to my emotional side and turns those buttons right on. I was able to immediately dive into Bronwyn and Bryce's story and get caught up in their tragic misunderstanding, caused by secrets and miscommunications and unrevealed wants and needs. I loved both characters, and their supporting family and friends and thought Mikayla was delightful.

Great story, which I am already re reading.

The struggle for a relationship was intense. Bronwyn and Bryce both had personal dilemmas that was brought into the marriage. His was control issues, anger management he did not acknowledge, and being a victim of child abuse, which was disclosed later. Anything worth having is worth fighting for. Hers were that she was sheltered by her own growth and being raised by then taking care of her grandmother. She was too naive. The love was true and enduring when in the throes of misunderstandings and pain. Words cannot be unspoken once released. A great title for this book. It is not often you hear of or the admission of regrets; however, they are there. Whether you reconcile or not, an admission and forgiveness can go a long way in the healing process of one left bitter about the relationship.

Oh where to begin....
This book brought out so many emotions I don't know where to begin.
The Unwanted Wife was a painful book to read and this one was no exception. It was heart-wrenching to read why Bryce reacted the way he did at the news he was going to be a father and at times I wanted to smack both Bronwyn and Bryce for the way they behaved. They both had their reasons for the way they reacted. The plot was very relatable for me.
It was an emotional rollercoaster, but I enjoyed the book and I am looking forward to the next Unwanted book.

I could not get past the first few chapters. There was too much anger and I felt that realistically, violence would be the next step. I am sure it didn't work out that way. But, truthfully, I was not willing to read on to find out.

I really, really liked this book... I didn't think it was as good as The Unwanted Wife, but it was still very good. It had a lot of angst and drama, which I love in a book. I liked that she didn't just take him back right away. The situation they found themselves in was very realistic. It was very easy to get lost in this book. I couldn't put this one down, and I can't wait for the next book by this author.

I loved Natasha anders first book and hoped this book was just as good or even better however it was just okay. The book seemed to go on forever and not in a good way. Half way through the book it began to drag and I found myself looking at the percentage left and just wanting to flip through the book but I didn't. I read the entire book. It was predictable. I knew what was wrong with the hero within the first half of the book and wondered why the heroine couldn't figure it out. I wouldn't recommend this book or read it again.

Apprehensive at first that the author would not redeem the hero to my satisfaction, he was so cruel that I thought there was no going back from that.I needn't have worried, by the end I just wanted to reach in and give Bryce a big hug. I loved the fact that Bron gave as good as she got and didn't forgive him too easily . I thought that their daughter was a tad too advanced for her age but still cute and I loved the scenes with Bryce and Kayla. Did I enjoy this book as much as the first? I have to say Yes, it was different but in a good way ..it left me with a smile on my face and that's all I ask for in a romance.

I read the first book, "The Unwanted Wife" like eight times. I absolutely loved it. I preordered "A Husband's Regret" with a little bit of trepidation and a lot of anticipation. I feared the second book wouldn't be as good as the first, but I hoped that it would be as good or better.

Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as the first. The premise was interesting, but there was a lot of going around in circles and too much repetition. The chemistry between Bronwyn and Bryce was great, but there was something about the execution that led me to think it needed a good content edit. There seemed to be a lot of meandering going on.

I noticed that a lot of reviewers enjoyed the connection between Bryce and characters from the first book. Usually, I like it when characters from other books in the series pop up, but there was too much of them in this one. I felt like it was a distraction and didn't really enhance the story. They were just hanging out and sympathizing with Bronwyn. There wasn't really any meaningful dialogue with them.

I would have loved to see Theresa and Bronwyn having a real conversation about how Theresa dealt with Sandro's treatment of her for the first year and a half of their marriage. It would have also been good for Lisa to let Bronwyn know how she felt when her cousin was being treated so poorly.

Overall, I'm glad I read the book, but I probably won't read it again. The author won my heart with the first book and I'm willing to give her more chances with any future books she writes. I hope the next book is better.

This book was very similar to Unwanted Wife. The sex scene went on much too long I could skip pages and still they'd be at it. I know love story have to have tension in them but this one was not quite believable. Despite all that I love the way Natasha Anders writes and how she makes the main characters the center of the book. I would recommend it.
