Not Spurred (Lone Star Burn Book 1), Taken

One of the better and feeling provoking books I have ever read. Ruth Cardello is an excellent author. I'll never meet a Tony or Sarah and feel the same about them. A tragic story of bad pasts and a heartwarming way to make them go away. This is a book you will not want to put down, so pick a good time to read awhile.

At the beginning I wouldn't have thought this was going to play out as a love story. The main character seemed like a jerk. But then he started showing his true self to everyone. Like person waking from a coma. I really liked the way the story played out. Well done. Ohh and let's not forget the steamy hot sex scenes.

Nevermind the romance with hot steamy scenes, which are my favorite books... She definitely delivers there.
Read this because the author writes in such great detail that you get lost in them. This book delivers in so many ways that you cant put it down or be super thankful there is another book too read that continues the story line!!! You will not be disappointed.

Sarah and Tony are awesome! Tony is so broken and Sarah is like a light to his life! She comes right in and grabs Tony's heart! He fights his feelings but can't resist Sarah! Great fun romantic story! Absolutely loved it!

On surface the characters appear to have nothing in common besides sexually tension, but as you get further along you will see they are both wounded with the potential of healing each other. The storyline is believable and the romantic scenes are sizzling. I would recommend this book to anyone who believes in happy endings!

Not what I expected when I started reading this book. I had just got done reading a book about a cowboy and I thought this might be on the same lines but it sure wasn't. It was a good story but I did not expect the explicit sex that was described. I did read the second book following this one and it was also a very good story line and not as much sex. She is a very good writer and her stories are very interesting... it just surprised me..

I enjoyed this book. The characters were very realistic. I couldn't stop reading. The plot was believable. The opening scene was great. I loved the wrong ranch, the wrong house, and she was discovered in the shower. I have already bought two more of the author's books.

Fun romance with enjoyable characters and dialogue.

I may re-read this story. I always look forward to other works by this author.

To much salacious sex scenes. I would not reccomend this book and im sorry I put it on my kindle. Ruth Cardello is not my kind of author. I don't mind a few sex scenes but to much detail that leaves nothingbb to the bimagination.

Too much bumping, grinding, pumping, licking, etc. Leaving something to the imagination is far more erotic than the same thing over and over. I will not be purchasing the other books in this series.

This book was more than I was expecting. The story is great, the characters gorgeous and the writing fantastic. Sarah and tony are just wonderful and with Melanie, David and dean all mixed in it truly is a great read. Can't wait til the next book in this series.
