The book had a number of well written vignettes about Fred and his friends. A good book to delve into without any stupid insta love romance or overdramatic villians that seem to plague the vampire genre. Thanks Drew!

A very, very enjoyable read! I admit I have little patience for short stories but the grouping and continuity were very pleasing and easy to read. The characters are delightfully realistic despite being "parahuman." Most assuredly the continuation of one of the best series I've read this year. Hoping to see more soon!

If you want to read something with humor and adventure this is the series for you. I enjoyed both books and they left me with a bubbly giddy feeling when I was finished. I can't wait for a 3rd book.!!!
Super Powereds: Year 4 :: Orconomics: A Satire (The Dark Profit Saga Book 1) :: Critical Failures V: Caverns and Creatures, Book 5 :: Bloody Acquisitions (Fred Book 3) :: The Dungeoneers

If you are looking at reviews of Undeath and Taxes, I hope you have read the first in this series,The Utterly Uniteresting and Unadventourous Tales of Fred, The Vampire Accountant. A friend recommended the series, but seriously, how could you pass up a story with a title like that?
I adore this series. Told as a series of memoirs, Fred recounts his adventures (not that he was looking for any) of his not so mundane, life. The narration is wonderful, the cast of characters continue to grow as we get to know more about Fred and his friends who have become his family.

I LOVED this book, but reading it was aggravating because the 30+ instances of grammatical errors often took me out of the moment. However, it was a delightful read - entertaining, unusual and really funny - with likable, memorable characters
