It's an interesting memoir...autobiography (I need to google the difference) about what can happen when you love comedy, work at honing your comedic skills, and put yourself out there. But even if you semi-like Mindy Kaling (sorry Min, I swear this statement ends well) you will LOVE this book. Just buy it dude. It's really good!

Mindy Kaling is just one of those people you like. She's got a generous perspective of people, with big dreams both real and silly, just like all of us. No wonder everyone wants her to be their best friend. She's just...rad. And that all makes the book really, really fun to read.

This is really great light reading. I read it in one day. Mindy is super funny and talks about things that all young women can relate to... body image, bullying, best friends, the struggle to make it My only disappointment was that the audio clips did not work on my kindle.

This is best for 14-25 year old girls.

Mindy is hilarious and I love her take on things. She identifies with her readers and it was great to read her story. I shared similar experiences coming from Asia and it was nice to be able to laugh at the funny incidents and experiences, knowing I often felt the same.

I enjoy watching The Mindy Project and I decided to buy the book. I was able to imagine Mindy's voice while reading. There were times when I laughed out loud and smiled while reading. It is the first book that I have read in entirety in a long time.

reading this book is like having a conversation with your two best girlfriends. not just for girls though, my boyfriend saw how much I'd laugh while reading it and would secretly read it after I fell asleep.
