I found most of the info very repetitive. I appreciate what it can do for you if you use the machine properly. What I really wanted to know was the settings for doing the various activities. I assume low speed is anywhere between 1 and 20, medium between 21 and 40 and high between 41 and 60. The info pertaining to what type of machine to buy was informative and I wish I had this advice prior to buying the machine I bought (dual motors) I found that using only one motor at a time is much more beneficial than using both at the same time. Live and learn.

I found this book very useful. It answered most of my questions about WBV, and helped me decide which machine to buy. I have had the book for three weeks, and the WBV machine for one week. At this point I am very happy with both.

... but I was expecting more exercises listed in the book.
Great info about everything else this machine does for your overall body. I've only had my machine a week, and have used it twice a day. Wondering if I did it wrong, even though it's too early to tell.

The book provided a lot of information about the benefits of WBV but not enough information on excercises and settings for the machines. It ws hoowever useful in evaluting various machines. I also used on-line reviews to narrow down my seach even further.

Very informative. Can't imagine leading a whole and productive life WITHOUT a wbv after reading this :) The most important thing I learned from it is don't waste your money on the big, expensive, double motor machines. There is no way the dual motors can vibrate together at the very precise moment, so the dueling vibrations can actually be very counterproductive for positive results. I bought a machine here on the store for $249 with free shipping and am more than pleased with it. As are the more than 800 people who have left really high praise for it.

There is more information in this book than photos. Wish there were photos of positions in using a WBV machine. Even the photos on the cover were not inside the book. When I bought my WBV machine, a small booklet came with it with some of the very same information (excerpts from the book) and same photos. I will learn more about the benefits, but I wish there were more position photos so I could benefit from the information in the book. Now I guess I'm on a quest to find another book or poster with photos.

The up side: The information on how WBV was developed, the research, and the ways it can be helpful, is really good. Be aware there is not actually research listed to support every claim made in the book - so, no guarantee this practice will make you a youthful sex machine. But there IS lots of solid research on the great benefits of using WBV, and the conclusions she draws on possible benefits that don't yet have research behind them, are pretty intuitive - so I didn't feel like she was out on a limb.
The down sides: I was hoping there were more pictures of exercises to do on your WBV machine. More disturbing is the section on selecting a machine. She gives a lot of minute specifications to look for without naming any brands or machines, so this doesn't actually help you much in choosing one - just gives you a ton of confusing criteria to try to find out about the machines you're looking at. The book refers you to her website for more information on machines - a flicker of hope there, but it just overviews the same criteria and features only two machines: the ones she sells. One is $899, the other is over five thousand. It seems clear that her goal here is to inject just enough fear and confusion into the process so you want to purchase one from her - probably the only machines that meet her many criteria - and maybe her services into the bargain. I was disappointed with that, as it prices many people out of something that could do them a lot of good.
There are several WBV machines right here on the store in the $200-300 range that have an enormous number of fantastic reviews, some by people who have been doing this for years. I plan to purchase one of these as my first try at WBV therapy. Good luck!

This book is full of vital information one would need when considering the purchase of a WBV machine as there are many different types on the market. It is also vital in helping you understand the benefits of WBV and how to use your machine to achieve the results you are looking for. I bought a machine and I am loving the results of more vitality and reduced pain in my hip and shoulder! I highly recommend this book!

Whole Body Vibration is a great discovery for all people, especially people who are getting older, those with restricted mobility and strength.
