Very exciting. Loved the characters and the technical information on how the justice system works, or doesn't sometimes. Because the author is a lawyer the story is quite believable. I will look forward to more reads of the same calibre. Thanks Lis!

Terrific read. Have been holding this book for some time, not quite sure I wanted to read it. However, once I started I couldn't stop. As I said, GREAT READ! Looking forward to reading another Mia Quinn book.

Lis Wiehl's plots and story lines are great...........I never quite know how the ending is going to turn out -- her writing keeps me moving quickly toward the end! I will continue to purchase anything Wiehl writes!

Mias character relates to strugggling independent women picking up the pieces of unexpected life events. Her ability to juggle family issues with financial problems and job performance are very believable as it relates to this story.I enjoyed the book very much.

Excellent book! Lis Wiehl is an attorney and contributor to Fox News who knows her subject well, and crafts interesting and multi-dimensional characters. I hope that she writes another book featuring the heroine of this book.

I really enjoyed reading this! The attorney, Mia, was very believable. She was a professional, a single parent, and a caring, concerned mom. The book had a story line that was easy to follow, did not have graphic sex scenes, but, flirted with romance. It was just a fun read.

As compared to Wiehl's East Salem series this book is a little slower for my liking. But none the less a very good book. If you are looking for your first Lis Wiehl book's to read I'd recomend the East Salem series unless you don't like dealing with the supernatural from a Christian perspective.
