Now that I have completed the entire Beneath Series, I have come back to post a review. This is one of my favorite series, I love how each book is a different story but also how each of the stories get incorporated together. This is a great start to the series, and trust me you'll want to read them all by the time you're done with this book.

Meghan March hooked me with the Ruthless King trilogy, and has definitely ensnared me with this series. She writes beautifully, and certainly knows how to build up the sexual tension! I loved Charlie and Simon's story, and can tell by the sample that I'm going to enjoy Conand Vanessa's story.

Great storytelling and attention to detail. Charlie is a great character, a strong female lead. Simon is a good balance to her. In like the way it's written, each chapter from a different perspective. You love all the characters and want to know more about them all. Huck sounds adorable. Glad he was such a big part. Quick read but definitely could not put it down. I bought the rest of the series. Excited to have found another great writer for my collection.
A Billionaire SEAL Story (In the Shadows, Book 1) :: Real Good Love (Real Duet Book 2) :: Beneath These Chains :: Rogue Royalty: The Savage Trilogy, Book 3 :: Dirty Love (Dirty Girl Duet Book 2)

What a fabulous, enticing and positively sexy story.
This is the second book I've read by Meghan March and I really enjoyed it. I thought the tension created between Simon and Charlie was amazing and really hot. I loved the fact that Simon wasn't going to take no for an answer and didn't back off for one moment. Charlie was his mate and that's all there was to it.
Didn't put this book down at all in the 3 hours it took to read it. ( yes 3 hours) it's that good.
I love the visual effect Ms. March takes you on. New Orleans was a great back-drop for this story.

The characters and storyline are both unique and interesting. Simon is the best! What a great guy.

The author did a fantastic job developing the characters and atmosphere for this book.

Loved it, and look forward to checking out other stories from the series.

I loved this book. I adored Simon and how patient he was with getting Charlie to open up about her life. Charlie had a lot of issues and didn't know who she could trust. I would definitely recommend this book.

I loved this book!! You usually tend to read about the "good girl that falls for the bad boy", breath of fresh air to read the opposite. I don't want to give to much away but this book has it all; Action, drama (good kind) ha, hot men and one chick that has a pair. Haha... The thing I loved the most was the characters didn't fall in love 2 pages in. You had to work for this kind of rock your socks type of romance. Definitely reading the next book in the series. I'm also keeping my eye and TBR list on this author. Thanks

This is a complex, beautifully-scripted story with a terrific sub-plot with twists and turns. Simon and Charlie are a great match. Both are broken, but in different ways. They not only find one another despite challenging circumstances, but are there to continually support one another as their love grows and deepens. This is a story about communication, family - both good and bad - trust, and loyalty. It's a story about ethics and doing the right things for the right reasons despite the potential consequences. You'll love it.

While Beneath This Mask has scorching hot sexual intensity, it also has unusual plot secrets the protagonists are keeping from one another that add to the intensity plus an adorable dog. I’m a sucker when a dog is added to the romance!

Officially my least favorite in the Beneath series. I read this last in the series and that may have something to do with my feelings. Still, if I read it first I wonder if I would have ever completed the series. None of the books have felt as "new adult" as this one. Charlie was immature. She wasn't a bad girl. Not by a long shot. Some ink and nipple piercings does not a rebel make. And Simon was much too sweet for my romance reading tastes. Give me Con or Lord or Rix any day. Not a huge fan of insta-love either. Some of the stuff she did (let's get drunk alone and wonder through the French Quarter!) made her a little TSTL.

Charlie had some serious daddy issues too. Granted her father was a complete jerk but everything she did seemed to be in direct reaction to her father's behavior and not out of a true sense of rebellion or self-expression. I never felt she really gave up her old identity but was instead defined by hiding it.

The writing was good. The three stars is for the characters and the story.

My favorite character was the dog, Huckleberry.

SPOILER: If you are at all sensitive to violence involving animals you should be warned about some developments early in the book. There is a HEA for everyone though so don't worry too much.

Simon an upper class business man and ex navy pilot, Charlie a tattooed bad girl living the life she wants while running from a past she can't escape. Can these opposites build a life of love and trust? Will the past tear them apart? Read to find out!!!

Faithful , possessive, protective and likable hero who falls head over heals for the heroine. Not afraid to go after what he wants , which is the heroine. He catches her and hot sexy times commence. Enough drama to keep it interesting but not so much that it distracts from the romance. Decent ending.

Secrets, running, hiding. It had all of these things. Having to hide yourself is never easy.
Then you meet a man who you decide it would not be in his best interest to get involved with you. Thankfully he didn't see it that way.
This is an awesome read, you know s*** will hit the fan at one point and you're dying to know how and if they can come back from it.
Is it going to be worth it in the end????

Some writers just know how to write. And Ms. March is one of those writers. Each charActer was well developed and likeable. I fell in love with Simon, I think because of his overwhelming honesty, and his passion for Charlie. I couldn't believe he made her wait! The "conclusion" was done right. I can't see how Charlie could have moved on any other way. And it was "real". Not storybook fantasy. Very good storytelling.

This book was everything that I expected it to be. Excitement, love, heartbreak, triumph, scandal and all the elements that it took to write this story. I was surprised. I was mad. I was emotional. I was happy. Every emotion imaginable, I experienced reading this book. Looking forward to next in line.

Trying to read everything on my kindle and got finished with this book in 1 day. Kept my interest and liked the characters. A bit predictable in storyline, but overall throughly enjoyable. I liked that Simon knew what he wanted.

I just fell in love with Charlie and Simon, actually even the secondary characters are wonderful. The storyline is really good and had me from start to finish. I laughed, got mad and even cried while reading this one.

This is my first Meghan March book but it certainly won't be the last. I loved this book from start until finish. Simon and Charlie are so freaking great together!! I can't wait to read the next book in this series!!!

This book hits all the right buttons. The characters are so well-written that they have a presence all of their own. The locations come to life, and the chemistry and dynamics between the characters makes you feel as if you're there, watching it play out in real life.
Definitely one for the "Keeper" collection.

Beneath the Lies is an amazing love story. I adored the way Charlie and Simon's love story blossomed from intrigue, danger, stubbornness, and passion. I found it difficult to stop reading and attend to normal life. The NOLA setting is fun and the characters are like icing on the cupcake! Can't wait to download the next book.

I read Beneath This Ink first which should actually be read after this book. I liked this book but just a hair less than Beneath This Ink. Good writing, unique storyline and relatable characters. Simon is the dreamy and charming southern boy but he is also sexy and dirty talking. I liked Charlie's (Charlotte' s) strength and scrappy independence. I would definitely read more by Meghan March.

Loved this story, it was so good. Firstly, I loved Charlie who was a great heroine, not too whiny but she rocked and knew what she wanted. Loved Simon who though he was a good boy had some bad boy in him, yay Simon. Loved the development of their relationship and all of the people who supported Charlie. Kept me involved and all around great story.
