This is a great book on ideas and projects anyone would like to do. Has many insights in how, when and where to get the most of your garden areas. I highly recommend this item for old as well as new gardeners. Thanks and glad I found this book.

Ms. Jabbour has successfully tackled what has likely been the most significant problem for Canadian gardeners since we started to grow things. She has provided the techniques and the plant varieties needed to actually grow food all year long in our particular climate, I have not found another book that does this. Congratulations and well done!

This is a tremendous book with solid information. Great for our New England weather and cost efficient to build and maintain.

This book delivers! The author tells precisely how to get veggies 365 days a year. Methods explained in detail. Even recommended types of plants to grow. After reading this book I know what to do and when to do it. I believe I now have the knowledge to be enjoying a fresh green salad harvested from my own Zone 5 garden even in December. What could be better than that? Oh, by the way, please pass the salad dressing.

The information in this book is great. Anyone that has short summers needs the ideas of the growing boxes, growing things at different times and not being afraid to replace plants that are bolting unless you want the seeds.

This is perhaps the best gardening book I own. Niki has a way with words in addition to a passion for growing things, and the book is laid out in a very useful and easy-to-digest format. The "A Year in the Life Of" sections are brilliant and help illustrate how various aspects of the garden system change through the seasons. The photos are beautiful and the illustrations spot-on. The sidebars on various topics are well put-together and easy to understand. I can't recommend this book enough; it is a joy to read and has given me dozens of new things to try.
