Another book that shows differences between genders. However, this book actually made some sense for me. A major premise is that men tackle one thing at a time, whereas, women are able to draw connections between various issues. I am not referring to multi-tasking, but rather how men and women view things quite differently. After 35 years of marriage, she still amazes me!

This book is great for understanding the differences in how men and women think and process information.....how men and women differ in their reactions to situations, and differ in their expectations of one another. It offers very helpful advice on maintaining a friction-free relationship.......provided, of course, that both parties within a relationship are willing to consider the advice given and work together to understand the differing viewpoints.

As far as the purchase process, I was very careful to read the reviews from the sellers and choose clean copies with no hand-written notes and no obvious signs of abuse. I am pleased with my purchase.

Easy read for the differences of men and women. Humorous and informative
at the same time. Addresses situations for newly engaged, newly weds and
those who have been married for longer periods of time and need a "tune-up".

If ever a truer picture of the differences between men and women were written, this is it! Yet, it is funny to read, too. You will find yourself saying, "ain't that the truth!" over and over. Buy one for yourself and buy one to give to someone on their first year wedding anniversary. Newly weds won't appreciate it but give them a year or two and they certainly will know what the title means!

Book was delivered quickly and in perfect condition. The intro is kinda preachy and braggy...they go on and on about their success, not how most authors do, but as if with an agenda. Just thought that was annoying. I'll keep reading and give it a full chance, but so far it's not what I expected.

We read and discussed this book for a Sunday School class. The only reason for the 4 stars is the fact that it is a bit dated by today's standards, making reference to things at times to let you know it's an older book ( VCR, phone booth, etc). That being said, there were still some definite "ah ha" moments when reading this book. Although technology has changed over the years, the basic personality differences between men and women haven't. I certainly did learn some things and I feel like my husband and I might understand each other a little better after having read this book. I do have the Kindle version, should that matter to someone...

If you are wanting to understand why people of the opposite sex seem to be operating under a totally different set or rules, this is the book to get. It is co-written by a married couple, so it really does have both points of view about men and women. There are many great gems in this book.

An added bonus is that it is an easy read, there's fun stories and humor to lighten it up. I enjoy reading about a chapter at a time, and then trying to see if that is true about my significant other. Often, it is true. Some things are less applicable than others but for the most part Bill and Pam Farrel really hit the nail on the head.

I would highly suggest this book for any one who is trying to understand their husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, coworkers, boss, or even friends. I have even learned quite a bit about myself, why I think the way I do and how my brain works. So it can be useful even for learning about yourself.

Terrific book for helping you understand how different genders think and process information. Very funny and helpful as you navigate your lifetime of marriage and learn to communicate more intimately. Somewhat similar to Mark Gungor's presentation about men compartmentalizing each part of life, including having a "nothing box". This really helps you understand how to listen to each other, as well as how to read each other better during a conversation so you aren't rambling on without being heard or shutting each other out. Great for a couple and also for groups to study together.

Funny and informative-great book for anyone who wants a laugh with understanding. I have read this book several times and bought this one as a gift and she loved it and it helped her understand why when she asks her son what he is thinking he says nothing-because its true.

A brilliant insight into the physiological differences between men and women, which leads to why we think, act, and process information/situations differently. For any man that has ever been frustrated by trying to understand how a woman can progress from topic to topic in a conversation, like a frog hopping lily pad to lily pad, while still keeping the main "thread", this book is for you. For any woman who seems befuddled by a man who answers the quintessential question of "What are you thinking?", with the response of "Nothing", this book is for you. There really IS a method to our madness, in both cases, and this book provides some clarity as to just why that is.

This book has been a favorite of ours for decades now. It is so true, men really
are waffles and we ladies are spaghetti. Recognizing the difference, and
being careful to not scramble my husband's waffle brain with my tangled spaghetti thoughts, is so helpful.

I HIGHLY recommend this book. Even though I have been married for almost 27 years, by reading this book I learned alot about myself and my husband! I wish I had known some of these things many years ago. I plan to give this book as a wedding gift in the future.

Great information about the differences between the sexes. Not your "men are from Mars" goofiness. I learned some pretty interesting things that will help me understand the men in my life. Not only for the married folks!
