Good stories written in an entertaining fashion. If you like listening to the Moth, you'll like this book too. I wasn't sure how story telling to an audience would translate to the written page, but the editors did a good job picking and putting the stories in printed format.

I just recently learned about Moth performances when I was gifted with this book. The stories in this volume are riveting, life changing accounts that bring insight about the planet we inhabit, tears, and much laughter. I immediately signed up for the Moth app so I can hear more stories of this caliber. Buy this book!

Engrossing, entertaining; hard to put down. Wonderful compilation of short stories focused on important and interesting events that shaped various peoples lives. The stories made you think about similar events in your own life that others might enjoy learning about.

Great stories, perfect when you have a bit of time before bed, at lunch. Except it is so enticing to read just one more! Enjoyed reading the stories I'd heard on The Moth in print, but there were plenty that I hadn't heard and plenty worth remembering in this way.

Excellent stories. Entertaining but also thought provoking and enlarges your worldview. It's a great book to read before bed. Every chapter is long enough to make it through before nodding off to dreams of the world you've read about. A VERY enjoyable book!
