I realize this book was meant for older teens but I really enjoyed it. I'm a James Patterson junky and read him every chance I get. He really did himself proud with this book. I couldn't put it down. I just started the series and it looks like another winner. Oh, I'm 68 years old. So this book is good for all ages.

Patterson has done an excellent job with this book as the start of another of his series. I enjoyed the book and liked that it had its own ending. It does lead into another book, but one doesn't feel left up in the air with the plot of this book.

Makes me sad that what started as a fascinating and exciting series has turned into teen smut. Why do books for the YA crowd have to be filled with eroticism? Sure they are asking questions and experiencing some of the same but I HATE the new trend in YA.

Usually I enjoy James Patterson books but was somewhat disappointed with Confessions of a Murder Suspect. It wasn't one of those "can't put it down" books but looking forward to reading the next one.

Another excellent James Patterson book! Although it is written for Teenagers, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I love the fact that it doesn't have any bad words in it. I just hate that it seems like all authors have to resort to using vulgar language in their books now.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I wasn't sure if it might be a teen's book, but as I read on, it was apparent it wasn't.

I enjoyed the premise of the story, not solving the mystery at all.

I would recommend this to any mystery fans/James Patterson fans...yeah read it!

bit different to have the main character talking to you the reader. took a while to get used to this style.

I did not expect the ending and as it did not tie up the end relating to outcome of elder brother and siblings. other than that it maybe suggests a sequel

True Confessions of a Murder Suspect-this book was so much fun to read. I felt as if I were part of the story and each character was a friend or acquaintance. So well tied together at the end- sorry that the book had come to an end. Can't wait for the next one.

I love how this book has an unreliable narrator. I haven't read a book like that ever, and that makes me incredibly happy. The book keeps me and my husband on our toes. You never know who did it. I think James Patterson has done it again. This is my favorite book by him since Nevermore. I can't wait to finish this book and read the next.

So this chick is more intelligent than the police??? Seems author thinks Police are pretty thick and jump to conclusions with no evidence and no thorough investigation, other than these shortcomings - an easy read with no real jaw dropping twists or turns.... but a good rainy day, snuggle intop bed and read

Overall, the book was pretty good, the writing wasn't bad and the plot of the book was interesting. I was hooked on it for days straight, but when I finally made it to the ending, I was so disappointed. For me, the ending seemed to come out of nowhere, and *SPOILER ALERT* I never actually thought that there was a possibility of there not being a murderer. It seemed a little far fetched, and almost like an out of place twist, which the book had plenty of. However, I'd still recommend the book to anyone who likes mysteries and wants something to read.

This book was intriguing but not of normal James Patterson writing levels. I don't know if it was his corroboration choice or just was trying something different. I prefer his regular writing styles.

Possibly James Patterson has become too prolific for his own good. Thin in plot and substance; not that I expected the great American novel, but a little confidence in his readers' intelligence would be appreciated.. Sorry, Jim. Take a vacation, maybe Bora Bora. Then a deep breath, and write.

This was a fairly good Patterson read. Like many of his books it was quick and fast moving, nothing too deep or thought provoking but worthwhile none the less. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Not one of James Pattersons finest. He is writing and co-writing to many books and his writing is paying for it. It is getting very bad. I keep buying his books hopeing that he will get back to what he use to be when he fist started writing. I hav eread everyone of his books and am very disappointed in his last few.
