“I’ve seen how gorgeous you look in the lingerie I make. Now I want to see how gorgeous you look out of it.”

Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente are a match made in ROM-COM heaven! THE V CARD was an OUTSTANDING romantic comedy that has heart, humor, and an INSANE amount of chemistry! I couldn’t take my eyes off the pages for even a minute! While Ms. Blakely is one of my FAVORITES, Ms. Valente is brand-spankin’ new to me, so this was a great introduction to what she has to offer in this genre. When two authors come together to bring their readers something truly special, EVERYONE WINS!

Graham and CJ were PURE MAGIC, individually and as a blossoming couple. THE V CARD is dual POV, which is AMAZINGLY well done! We get inside both of their heads and discover their weaknesses when it comes to one another, as well as their strengths, their concerns, and their hopes. Graham’s struggle was real. He was so torn, and yet the idea of teaching CJ what she wants is so intriguing and sexy. How could he say no? I loved CJ’s innocence, her naivety, her fire. I loved how she had the guts to ask Graham exactly what she wants. What first was an awkward and uncomfortable request for both parties, turned into an even stronger bond and a beautiful love match.

THE V CARD by these two incredible authors is a MUST READ for sure! It was a quick read with quite a lot going on. It was packed full of comedy, romance, and heart, and you can’t help but fall madly in love with these two adorable characters!

I freaking love, love, love this book!!! Nothing to me like a perfectly written romcom and these ladies killed it!! Not only that but I am a huge fan of a great friends to lovers story and this book tells one great tale of two people that I sure that you guys will fall in love with too. I just love these two characters so much that I didn’t want their story to end because I know that it will be it. Graham and CJ story will leave you a smile on your face, trust me when I say tell you this. You’re going to devour this book in one sitting just like I did because I am a sucker for book that has a this whole sarcastic banter between characters and that’s exactly what Lili Valente and Lauren Blakely gave us. Not only that but I love to read book where I feel like I am part of the story and that’s exactly what I got.

I loved to watch CJ and Graham relationship blossom from friends to lovers. I loved CJ because she wasn’t shy about most things and she never held back, and Graham was they typical male character lead that I love. He was successful, sexy with one dirty, naughty mouth. The chemistry between these two was off the charts and it will set your kindle a blaze. I suggest you pick this book up pront

Wow...Graham is EVERYTHING!
He knows his way around a gal's body...he knows how to make a gal feel good...special...cared for.
CJ is looking for a teacher...one she trusts, one she cares for...one she needs to help her with a pretty big deal.
Graham is the prefect person to ask...I mean when a guy sends you sexy panties he is pretty much a keeper. I would be happy to let Graham teach me ALL his lessons. Lesson one was amazing...there was kisses, touching, mind blowing...(you gots to read to find out).
This story was amazing...Lauren and Lili done did it this time and I want more of CJ and Graham...I needs it!!!!
Gawd I was just thinking back to how good Graham makes it for CJ...how he treats her, how he touches her, how enjoys making her feel cherished...how awesome it would be to have that. Sigghh...who wouldn't want a hot, bad mammer-jammer, sexy as sin, lingerie picking out, good with his mouth kind of guy? EVERYONE would right? Yes, the answer is YES.

5 Stars from Brianna!

Lauren Blakely might be brand new to me but Lili Valente is certainly not and I must say....wow did these two brilliant ladies flawlessly give me a stellar romance that was a "captivating, nose stuck in the book, can't pull myself away, must devour" type of story. From that entertaining blurb to that swoony storyline to those relatable characters, these two delivered the perfect rom-com.

The V Card was a sexy, sweet, witty, charming, all of the feels, laugh out loud romantic comedy that had me grinning ear to ear, swooning, and falling head over heels in love, pretty much start to finish. Graham and CJ wooed with me with their undeniable chemistry and hooked me hard with those sizzling sparks. Their journey was packed with so much heart and a helluva lot of heat that it made their story unforgettable in all of the best ways.

I devoured this sexy little book in a few hours and when it was over, I wanted to start it all over. If you like your books sexy, sweet and fun then this is the perfect one.

I highly recommend this book.

Never has a friend to lovers story been so complicated but completely wonderful to read.

Graham has been friends with CJ since he and her brother Sean met and later became business partners. Although Sean is gone now,
Graham remains her steadfast friend, confidant and all around buddy. He would do anything for her. Thus, who else would CJ think of to lose her pesky virginity to? Someone who she trusts implicitly and who she has always loved. She asks him for his help, 7 days to show her how to be a sexual being, taught by a master himself. Graham has relationships, but those are short-lived and meaningless. All he wants is to make sure his lingerie business succeeds for himself and to honor Sean's memory. He never saw this offer coming. Will he take it?

Can these two "teacher and student" make it through the next 7 days intact? Or will both get an education they never saw coming. I loved this story completely, I couldn't put it down, not only because I love friends to lover stories, but I wanted to see who would inevitably tame who.

Gah, Lauren Blakely, add in Lili Valente and you've an infinity star read!
CJ is 25 and still hanging onto that dreaded V card, she's tired of carrying that weight around and wants to lose it asap, but not to just anyone, she want's the best! Enter Graham, her brother's best friend, rumor mill says he's amazing in the sack! But how do you ask someone who not only is your friend, but your dead brothers best friend?
Graham is stuck between a rock and a hard place, he's not sure about helping CJ out with her problem, if his best friend were here he'd probably bash his face in!! But the thought of Cj just going to anyone for this makes him see red! He needs her for a board meeting, she needs him for the V card, can they keep it platonic or will one of them fall hard for the other?
Lauren & Lili are an amazing writing team, they took me on this journey, I swooned, I fell in love! I would love to see these two team up again, this story is that good! Like I said infinity +++ stars for this one, grab this on release day and enjoy their story!!

Ladies, get your fans out before you start this book, because it’s about to get very hot in the room!
Holy hotness and Graham crackers! This man was HOT! From the very beginning I loved Graham’s character. He is actually sweet. A busy man, he has no time for relationships. Enter CJ, his late friends sister. He starts seeing her, and I mean really seeing her and sparks start flying!
If you read the blurb, you will have a good idea what the book is about, so I won’t get into it. But what I will say is that these two authors have managed to produce a book that has everything from strong and well built characters, a great storyline, amazing writing and they managed to perfectly blend funny situations and banter with serious topics. I didn’t expect to like the book so much, but I LOVED it!
Whether you are a fan of these two authors or not, this book won’t disappoint. It is absolutely a must read.
I received an advance readers copy and volunteered a review.

Lauren Blakely and Lily Valente are a fabulous writing team and I hope they collaborate a lot more in the future because this book was an absolute joy to read. Graham and CJ are friends that have become even closer in the last few years since the sudden death of his partner, Sean, who was CJ's brother. So when CJ finally acts on her attraction to Graham for the sole purpose of losing her virginity this storyline adds a heart-pounding punch of lust that totally blew my mind. The growing emotional connection between Graham and CJ leads to sinfully sexy encounters that are explicit but never crude or vulgar because that kind of book totally turns me off. This is a 5-star romantic comedy that was enticingly delightful in every single way and I guarantee you're going to love it. I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my unsolicited and voluntary review are completely my own.

5 Star Review

I love Lauren Blakely. She is one of my favorite authors. I was super excited to have the opportunity to read and review The V Card. I loved this book.

Graham is focused on his business. The last thing he needs right now is a woman in his life. He is hardworking, handsome, and sweet. What he didn't count on was developing feelings for CJ. CJ is the perfect girl next door. CJ wants Graham to teach her the art of seduction. Graham and CJ are close, especially since the death of her older brother. Graham and Sean were best friends. Now, Graham has to decide if he's going to help CJ and move out of the friend zone? I'm not telling you anymore. You have to read this story.

This story made me smile. It made me happy. But there were parts that made me sad. This story has it all. I promise you will not be disappointed by this amazing story.

First off - Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente who can't possibly write a book I won't like individually, so put them together and holy squirrel brain!! It was so entertaining.

It captures their wit, a strong female lead and a man who knows his way around a woman's body. CJ and Graham - what a great couple. "...and it's the best thing that has ever happened to my mouth, bar none. Forget gourmet cupcakes and that chocolate bar from Paris. They've got nothing on this man's drop-dead sexy lips." That's how I felt after reading this book!

"I loved every second of being with you." and I loved every second of this book - even when my heart was in my throat!

It's a bit of a twist on the brother's best friend and I don't think losing your V card could be more fun!

I voluntarily requested and received an advance reader copy.

What do you get when you combine the best-selling talents of Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente in one book? A story that is worth 5 stars and then some, that's what! Blakely and Valente's writing styles are very similar and because of that, they compliment each other perfectly in The V Card, their newest collaboration. Written in a dual POV, The V Card is a friends-to-lovers story that will make you swoon and fall in love right along with the characters. It's funny, it's light (with a side of emotion), it's super steamy, it's romantic and it's a story you don't want to miss.

Let's talk characters.....CJ is beyond adorable! She's loyal, funny, independent, fun, sassy and successful. She has a commanding presence that sets people at ease and in real life, she'd certainly be someone I'd want to be best friends with. When she asks Graham, her deceased brother's best friend (who has become one of her closest friends since that tragedy) to teach her about sex and seduction while claiming her virginity, CJ becomes my hero! I mean, damn....I wish I had the balls to do that when I was single (then again, my best friend was most definitely no Graham Campbell)! She takes the opportunity she's always wanted and runs with it. Graham----this man is all sorts of swoony! Not only is he super sexy but he will literally make your heart beat faster with his words and actions. He's romantic, funny, successful, hot, loyal and all sorts of alpha in the bedroom. Seriously, this man makes panties drop with just one look! He treats CJ like the special gift that she is and it's his tender, sweet and romantic side that made me fall head over heels for him. He really is PERFECT!!!! These two characters have such a fun and easy partnership, one that readers will truly envy. Watching these friends fall in love will make you swoon something fierce!

The V Card is light on angst and heavy on sexy, rom-com fun. You'll laugh, you'll swoon, you'll fall in love and you'll love every single thing about this book written by two best-selling authors. It'll leave you with a smile on your face and a happy heart. Don't miss this 5-star collaboration because it's one of the BEST there is!

Graham Campbell is the kind of man women clamor over, he's handsome, rich, successful, and his profession just so happens to cater to the needs and comfort of women... which is exactly why he would be the perfect candidate to help CJ out. She wants to say goodbye to her virginal ways and become a more desirable and experienced woman, but she doesn't want just anyone to help teach her the way. She has heard stories about Graham's bedroom expertise, heard that he has many satisfied customers, and she wants to sample the goods too... but can she convince Graham to go against everything he believes to make it happen?

Graham Campbell's company is faltering a little and he needs his friend CJ's help to keep in afloat, and he also needs to eliminate all distractions from his life, namely women, as much as it pains him! But when he meets with CJ to try and lure her into helping with his new plan, she surprises him with a plan of her won... one that has him questioning his morals, the terms of their friendship, and his promise to her brother. Can he go against an unwritten rule between friends to make another happy?

The "V" Card is a sinfully delightful little tale that is sure to leave readers weak in the knees, and their emotions churning... WOW what a read!! From the moment I started this one I knew I had found something really special, it had this air of mystery to it that kept flipping the pages and constantly wondering will they, or won't they, and an emotional punch that hit the mark. Between the pages of this one you will find two friends with plans designed to get what they want, but in order to pull them off they need to rely on one another to make it happen, and will also have to cross some lines that are sure to make the defined lines of their friendship a little blurry... and things around them to become oh so steamy! This was an impressive offering from two very talented ladies, one that I am familiar with and one that is now on my radar, their beautifully executed tale gave me the feels, made me blush, and kept me captivated from start to finish! Highly recommend!!!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.

Individually I love Lauren and Lili's books but wow! Together the duo make a formidable collaboration.

This is your typical boy falls for his best friend who just so happens to be the sister of his deceased best friend, Sean. You with me so far?

Anyway from the very start I sensed where this book was going. Graham being a player and a self confessed ladies man, doesn't want to settle down and is more than happy playing the field and then there's sweet and innocent CJ who just has never had much luck with love.

One thing that struck me about this book was the fact that I got a strong sense of both authors writing styles. They complimented each other perfectly.

Another thing I noticed was that collectively this book was like a double dose of hotness with a spoonful of sugar, because amidst all the erotic scenes was an incredibly sweet story.

I really hope Lauren and Lili collaborate in the future because this book was seriously good.

I loved this book. Ms. Blakely and Ms. Valente are awesome together. Their writing styles are so different and having read both authors separately, it is apparent who was writing who. I really, I mean really hope that this book comes out on Audible because I can't wait for Graham and CJ to come to life through amazing narrators *cough, cough, Cooper North, cough, cough, Andi Arndt, cough, cough*.

All in all, this was a great book, and I can't recommend it enough to all of my friends. Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente are truly the romance readers wet dream.

As always, I love anything Lauren Blakely writes. This was a first time I read anything by Lili Valente. So lets discuss The V Card.

Graham and CJ has been friends forever. Graham was best friends with CJ's brother, Sean. Sean was killed in a fatal car accident. During their time with trying to come to terms with losing someone they loves, their friendship grew stronger. Graham promised to always be there for CJ, no matter what.

Graham needs CJ's help with his company that he formed with her brother. The company that CJ now owns a portion of, since her brother's passing. When Graham tells her what he needs, CJ takes this opportunity to tell him what she needs. I don't think Graham every expected the proposal that CJ would offer him.

After pondering the idea, Graham can't stand the idea of someone else doing what she asked for. Graham has always found CJ sexy, but he always kept her at arms length. But that is about to change.......

The chemistry between the two of them was electrifying. The only problem is, what happens after their seven (7) lessons. Will Graham continue to 'teach' her new things? Will their lessons turn to something permanent? The two of them obviously have feelings for each other, their attraction isn't merely just physical. But what happens when your heart gets mixed up into things. CJ kept telling herself, not to fall for Graham. But the more time she spends with him, the more she continues to fall for him. CJ has always wanted Graham, but knew he was off limits. Graham has always had feelings for her, but I think he pushed them deep....deep down because of his friendship with Sean. But with Sean not alive, will Graham go for it? Would Sean give him his blessings? Would Sean trust Graham with his sister's heart. Only time will tell.... I guess you have to ONE CLICK, THE V CARD.

So...... I have to mention this.

For those of you that have read Forbidden Nights (Seductive Nights #5), I felt that The V Card had the same premise. In Forbidden Nights, Nate and Casey, have been friends for years. Casey trusts Nate completely... with everything, including herself. So it makes perfect sense to Casey to ask Nate for some hands-on guidance, or shall I say tutoring sessions when Casey finds herself in need of some romantic expertise. Nate is best friends with Casey's brother, Jack. Casey and Jack own a sex toy company. In The V Card, Graham and Sean own a lingerie company.

I felt like there were a lot of similarities between the Forbidden Nights and The V Card. Notwithstanding, I enjoyed The V Card. I loved the chemistry between Graham and CJ. I loved the writing style. I loved the comedy between the two. So, for those of you who have not read the Seductive Nights Series, I suggest you do.

The V Card showcases a seamless blending of the writing styles of two authors known for their tempting and hilarious novels. This story is filled with humor, and heart, with little drama and lots of steam. A perfect read if you're looking to laugh, swoon, and fall in love. Since one of the characters loves making lists, let me share my own list as to why this book was a hit for me:

REASONS WHY I LOVED THE V CARD
1. Brother's Best Friend, Friends to Lovers romance

Graham Campbell, the CEO of lingerie company Adored, was the best friend of CJ's brother Sean. They grew up together, started the company together, and were the thickest of thieves until Sean passed away. With the loss of CJ's brother and Graham's best friend, they gave their time and support to each other, eventually becoming closer than when they were young. You know Graham is never going to hurt CJ intentionally, and the love is already there between them; it just wasn't romantic before, at least not on Graham's part. I love seeing friends become more, because there's already a strong foundation and some pretty strong affection between them.

2. The pacing of the story

A 7-day tryst is a recipe for an insta-love story, but it never felt that way when I was reading The V Card. From the start of the story, you can easily tell how close CJ and Graham are and how long they've known each other, so it was easy to get swept into the romance. They didn't jump head first into falling in love but waded their way into it with their sexual and non-sexual bonding moments.

3. Perfect balance of sweet and sexy

You'd think this would be more focused on the sex, since the story is about Graham teaching CJ about it, but this book has its fair share of swoon-worthy and adorable moments between Graham and CJ. Even during their trysts, you can feel their bond and care for each other. How easy it is for them to laugh and talk about everything. I love it.

4. Caroline Jessica "CJ" Murphy

I love her. Absolutely adore her. CJ confident, sweet, caring, and has a great sense of humor. I love her shirts, quirky accessories, her own sense of style. I've read contemporary romance books where the virgin heroine is too innocent and clueless at 25 and will only become something more when she finally meets a man. CJ is nothing like that. She's inquisitive, a go-getter, and comfortable in her own skin. Plus, I love how much she loves her—and her brother's—cat, Stephen King.

5. Graham Campbell

Another hero to swoon over! Graham is a man who, as Drake says, "started from the bottom now we here". This man has been married to his job for a long time, but you know it's not about the money. He's passionate about his business, his products, and women. It's not a secret that Graham was a bit of a womanizer, but he's not disrespectful and misogynistic about it, pretty similar to Lauren Blakely's heroes. Plus, his affection for CJ is so authentic and adorable, gah. GAH. Then when the romantic feels comes pouring in, GAHHHH. I am a pile of mush. And the thing he did before the happy ending. Ahhhh. I had a stupid grin on my face during a special moment at the arena.

Kudos to Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente for giving me—and I suspect, a lot of people—something I didn't know I wanted, a fantastic collaboration! I loved both their works and was more than pleased with The V Card. I'm afraid I'm spoiled now, so pretty please, with a cherry on top, won't the two of you write together again?

Tropes: Brother's Best Friend, Virgin Heroine, Childhood Friends, Friends to Lovers

GAH! This book is super cute!!!! Lauren and Lili are quite a pair. I am a big fan of Lauren and Lili is a first timer for me. Makes no difference though. These two talented authors are definitely in sync, and so this incredibly charming love story is born.
Here is the scoop: CJ is a 25 year old virgin. She is a beautiful, fun, successful business woman but not so lucky in love. She has yet to find the right guy to lose the V-card with. Graham is CJ’s brothers best friend. After CJ’s brother passed away, Graham has taken over the role of brother to his best friend’s little sis. Graham is smart, charming, a CEO of a fast-growing company, a talented man in the board room and even more talented in the sack When Graham runs into some challenges at his business, he enlists CJ for help. CJ is more than happy to assist Graham pitching a deal but she wants something in return – operation deflower project. If Graham can spend seven nights teaching CJ everything she needs to know in the bedroom, he has got a deal.
Seriously guys! I love this story. It was a perfect mixture of humor, sex and romance. Some of the banters are so hilarious I was laughing hard. The cast of characters is adorable. CJ is cute, shy, quirky and Graham is funny, flirty, and a swoon-worthy hero. The V card is one of those feel-good, heart-warming, sweet and sexy romances that leaves a permanent smile on your face long after you’ve finished. Lauren and Lili are definitely a force to reckon with in the rom/com world.

SQUEEE! Ever since I found out Lauren was co-writing with Lili, I’ve been happy dancing. The anticipation was sky high as I waited, bouncing in my seat, unable to stand another moment without this book. I mean, this is the twosome of all duos! On top of my already ecstatic excitement, this is a virgin romance—hence The V Card! *cue happy clapping*

The Dynamic Double L’s did not disappoint. Here’s a solid definition of feel good story that is meant to lift spirits and send hearts fluttering! You dive in hopeful and tumble out laughing hysterically. It’s like winning the novel lottery when an extra shot of fun juice is needed. These two have honed their craft individually for years and now provide another layer of special style together.

Graham is the reason book boyfriends are so popular. What’s not to love? He’s sweet, handsome, caring, and especially helpful. CJ has more than friendly feelings for her brother’s long time bestie but of course never did anything about it. A perfect recipe is mixed for these two to finally discover more, just not in the most conventional way. That’s what makes it really fun! There’s plenty of room of goofy bumbles and silly mishaps, but they make room for some seriously spicy passion. Wowza. This is a delicious book I’ll be recommended to all my friends.

Please and thank you with many happy returns for this new writing team!

When you have reached 25 and your still a virgin, who better to help you with your "V Card" than your brother's best friend. CJ has always had a thing for Graham. Since the death of her brother, Graham has taken on the role as her protector, her "Big Brother." So when CJ asks Graham for help in being sexier, more desirable, and help her lose her virginity, he's taken back a bit. His inner struggle that he is betraying his best friend lingers in the back of his mind. But when a friend convinces him that its better that he is the one to be her teacher than some sleaze bag, he quickly changes his mind. It was only suppose to be 7 days of sex lessons. No emotions, no pulling of the heart strings, no attachments. But when the one person who knows you the best is the least one you expect to capture your heart and soul, what do you do? Neither CJ nor Graham saw it coming. Are they willing to put themselves out there and expose their feelings for one another? Can the friendship they have survive if they try for more?
When I heard that Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente were writing a book together I knew I needed to get my hands on it. WOW, just seriously WOW! The V Card had me laughing, smiling, hot and bothered in a good way. It was sweet, sexy, full of humor, passionate and soulfully rich. Well done ladies, well done!

A very sexy book with characters that are well written and get you connected immediately! I loved Graham and CJ! A brilliantly written standalone full length novel by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente - I loved it!! A great, sexy, funny rom-com of a read!!

Graham is CEO of his own business that is going places, he's a ladies man, not one for relationships and has everything going for him. He lost his business partner and best friend not too long ago, but swore to look after his sister CJ as he would have done.

CJ has her own company, lots of friends, her own apartment - but hasn't had time for relationships and still has her V card, and is looking to lose it to someone she trusts, cares for, and will out for her - who better than her brother's friend Graham?!

Graham has one week to teach CJ all about sex and learning about pleasure, in exchange she will support him in a boardroom shareholder meeting. What could go wrong?!

A beautiful, funny, sexy read full of scorchingly sexy scenes, full of emotion and the characters are wonderful, I loved every minute of it and couldn't put it down. Very highly recommended reading.

Absolutely love this book! Perfect story of friends to lovers. The V Card instantly captivates its readers. Cj is 25 years old and still holds her V Card and Graham her brothers best friend and a close friend of hers, has a reputation of being a pleaser in the bedroom. This book shows CJ and Graham embark on a journey of exploration between two friends. This is my first book by Lauren Blakely and Lilo Valente, however I cannot wait to read more of their books.

This book is a must read for anyone who loves friends to lovers story lines. Full of humor from the beggining to very end.

The V Card was a sweet, sexy, charming, and swoon-worthy standalone romantic comedy, and I absolutely loved it! This book was so amazing from start to finish, and it was everything I wanted, needed, and so much more. It was an incredibly fun and oh-so-sexy rom com, and I was thrilled with the conclusion to Graham and CJ’s story.

What’s better than reading one author you adore? Why two of course!!! When I heard that Lauren Blakely and and Lili Valente were teaming up to write a novel, I nearly died with excitement. Unfortunately, I had to wait a fortnight to get my hands on this book. (Pressures of Christmas shopping, lol)
But, OMG it was sooo worth the wait. Sexy, funny, just plain laugh out loud good. Brilliant from the first word to the last.
Graham and CJ are friends, both suffering from the loss of CJ's big brother and Graham’s business partner. It’s taken them a while to recover from his death but now that they have reached this point. Now suddenly Graham is feeling things for CJ.
Things he shouldn’t.
But, then CJ asks him for help and he just can’t say no, even though he knows he should. He just can’t stand the thought of her with some other guy.
Graham was a playboy with a hidden heart of gold. He and CJ were amazing together, their chemistry was red hot, and that, mixed with their long friendship just ramped up the swoon quotient. The banter was both witty and a little snarky.
Both these authors are top of the league for Rom/Coms but together? They blew me away with this oh so sexy and fun story. I have no hesitation recommending this book. It’s so, so good.

The V Card is a super hot contemporary romance on "...lessons in seduction..." CJ is a girl after my own heart "...an unrepentant bookworm..." focused on "Operation V Card." losing her V card while keeping her friendship & heart safe. Enter Graham, the only person CJ trusts enough to get the job done-only there are two problems with her plan 1.) Graham is her brothers best friend 2.) who also happens to be on a "Sex-batical..." to ensure focus on the love of his life - the business he built from the ground up with CJ's brother.

Told in first person from dual perspectives, this story is sexy "This is kissing like I've never been kissed before.", funny "It's a win-win. All win. Total win." And I just said "win" four times." & clever. Surprisingly sweet & sentimental-learning "...how short life can be and how imperative it is to be brave." So very sexy- "It's such an intoxicating mix of soft and filthy at the same damn time."

"You're going to be hooked in one go, like a drug addict..."

I loved that these characters are sexy, fun & sweet & know each other so well. I enjoyed the funny banter, sexual innuendo's, the movie references. "This is wonderful and wicked..."

Lauren and Lili, 2 amazingly talented authors, have collaborated to bring their fans a fantastic book in The V Card. This book is super sexy and oh so fun. CJ is a modern day professional woman who is still carrying her intact flower. She is looking for a teacher who will pull off those petals. Graham is a sexy-as-sin professional man that has experience in spades. What happens when they agree for Graham to teach CJ for one week the ins and outs in the bedroom? " "First lesson," he rasps against my skin. "The public quickie. Tell me you're ready." " Graham is so swoon worthy that a public quickie with him would be a privilege. Add in a senile cat devoted to CJ and you have another successful book for this writing duo. This book will make a great gift for all your reading friends and just in time for the holidays. Spread the word because The V Card is here.

The V Card was a sexy, fun, entertaining read with tons of swoon and bit of romance. I loved how this one played out and I cheered for CJ and Graham, I found myself rooting for their HEA and I loved the spin that the authors put on a friends to lovers story. It was different and it definitely worked.

If you want to laugh and swoon and enjoy an absolutely charming read, then this book is for you! I thoroughly enjoyed every page!

Sexy and Fun!

Graham has sworn off women. With good reason it seems. He's a bit of a playboy and attracts women who tend to be a bit stalkerish.

CJ has her act together in all aspects of her life. She has made it to the "ripe old age" of 25...with her V card intact and she's done with that.

So who might she choose to solve her little "problem"? Why none other than her best friend. Also the best friend and business partner of her deceased brother. Oh, that has trouble written all over it! ??

Instead, sexy, romantic, passionate and creative (YES, creative!!!) Graham shows up. ?????. And the trouble part?! Falling in love in seven days with your best friend when neither of you is looking for it but it happens anyways.

Great rom-com that kept me entertained from cover to cover!

When I heard that two of my favorite contemporary authors got together to collaborate on a book, I thought I must be dreaming. And The V Card definitely made my dreams come true.

CJ never thought that she'd be 25 years old and struggling to lose her virginity but unfortunately that's the situation she's in. So what's a girl to do? Simple...ask her brother's best friend to help her out;)
Graham Campbell is much more than the typical playboy CEO. In fact, he's sworn off women for the time being so when CJ approaches him with her crazy idea he doesn't know what to say. But who is he to deny one of his oldest friends the great pleasure of sleeping with him?

This book was written with so much love and humor it was easy to get lost in the budding relationship between CJ and Graham. I loved this book and I would highly recommend it.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of the book.

How can you expect anything less than greatness when two of your favorite authors team up? Good thing Lili Valente and Lauren Blakely do not disappoint with this sweet, funny, and sexy tale! I loved Graham and CJ and thoroughly enjoyed their journey to HEA via a seven day sex-cation wherein he's tasked to teach her the ways of seduction and punch her v card. Yes, the plot is mildly predictable (and reminiscent of Lauren Blakely's Mister O), but the sex is hot, the emotions are real, and the words are delectable. It truly is a yummy confection of a read and I hope that the duo teams up to offer the world more of their collective treats. 4 out of 5 wine glasses.

A couple of years ago, an author named Sophie Holloway published a romantic suspense trilogy, and I really enjoyed that story. So I was surprised by the author's note when I started reading this particular book that these two authors (who were the same authors as the romantic suspense story), decided to rewrite that story into a romantic comedy. And I loved the way this turned out. Not a lot of angst to be found, which I think worked well for this story, it didn't need any outside issues complicating the evolving friendship between Graham and CJ. in fact, the only true angst that occurred happened towards the end of the story and only lasted 2 chapters.

I love Lauren Blakely stories and this was no exception. Graham is one of the sexiest, caring, delightful characters I've read about in a long time. A really good romantic, sexy story with great characters.

The V Card was a light, fluffy romance that while entertaining was also predictable. I liked the characters, but the plot is one that has been done over and over and there was nothing in this book that made it stand out in a crowd.

CJ is a 25 year old virgin and basically not only wants to lose her virginity but learn how to please a man so she pretty much bribes her late brother’s best friend who was also his business partner, and the man she’s had a crush on for years to give her sex lessons. Graham isn’t so sure about doing this, but then decides he’d rather it be him than someone else (magnanimous of him, right?) and agrees.

It was easy to like both these characters. CJ is smart, funny, and with a great sense of humor, but she grew up a bit overprotected and was more into books than boys, so it was easy to understand why she was a bit lacking in social skills. Graham was outgoing, intelligent, and why he was somewhat of a player he truly loved women which his lingerie business proved. He wanted women to feel empowered and sexy and he gave them the tools to do it. The thing is there was heat between these two, so it wasn’t a stretch they would enjoy each other fully even if they didn’t really know each other as adults.

There lessons Graham gave CJ were sexy and fun, but what was missing was shared emotion. Yes, we saw what each of them was thinking and how their hearts were engaging, but we didn’t see them show that to one another and then they were professing their love.

There was no doubt The V Card was a fun, sweet yet sexy story and I was satisfied by the ending, but it needed more depth, a bit of conflict, and more emotion to make it memorable.

Oh boy what a dynamic, fantastic, amazing duo, with Ms. Lauren Blakely and Ms. Lili Valente; two of my top go to authors. When I saw this book coming out, I was excited and could not wait. Let me tell you the wait was so worth it. You will not be disappointed. Both authors know how to write a great story that tugs on all your emotions. This was an endearing, adorable, sweet, humorous friends to lovers story. Not to mention, SUPER sexy. Graham and CJ have so much chemistry, I thought my kindle would start on fire. Graham is so sweet and handles CJ so gently and caring its heartwarming. He's supposed to be her "teacher" but leans about himself and gets more than what he bargained for but in a good way. I loved the banter between the two of them, you just knew that they were super close and their friendship was not one that anyone or anything could come in between. I am so glad I got to read this story, it was SO, SO Good!
Highly recommend!

Loved the story about Caroline (aka CJ) and Graham. Both Graham and CJ became very close after the death of her brother who was also Graham's business partner as well as his best friend. They became close over the next two years after his death and good friends. And things changed one day when CJ asked Graham for a huge favor and they became so much more. CJ and Graham are like gasoline and a lit match together, as well they can also have just fun and crazy times together and have each other's backs. As well into the mix is a hilariously crazy himilayan cat named "Stephen King" that was her brothers who eats the weirdest things around the house. Totally recommend this book not only incredibly hot read, but endearing at times, and hilarious as well.

bookstagrammer Tweezyreads:

What can I say about Graham and CJ??? They are so cute together. Graham and CJ are long time friends. Her brother Sean and Graham were best friends since they were young, CJ has harbored a long time crush on Graham. Tragically though, they become super duper close since Sean died. They lean on each other and really treasure their friendship.

CJ is a 25 year old who still has her V card. The beginning inner dialogue was so hilarious to me, because it was awkward, not knowing what the other person is thinking. He needed a favor from her so of course, she wanted to cut a deal with him and wanted him to take her virginity. I could picture the brunch moment when she asked him. He was at a loss for words. I was giggling so hard, because I felt like I was there in that moment with Graham. So funny.

He is really so sweet and of course in the beginning, they both said they wouldn't catch feelings for each other, etc. I liked reading the moment they realized that they had fallen in love with each other.

I would recommend this to anyone. Their friendship really seemed to be the foundation to build a loving relationship on. I enjoy Lauren Blakely's books. I haven't read too much Lili Valente books but I think I will start!!!

Ms. Blakely and Ms. Valente will hopefully join up to write more good books together.
CJ needs to learn how to be seduced and get rid of her V Card in only seven days.
Graham is more than willing to help. They have been good friends for years. Graham and Sean, CJ's brother, started a lingerie business together before Sean died.
Everything about this book will hold your attention. There are so many sexy innuendos that will keep you reading nonstop.
This is a great book and I recommend it.

There are almost no words for how good this story is. From the beginning you realize your heart is going to hurt a little but it’s also going to flip from the sweet, passionate chemistry that CJ and Graham have. The sexual tension is hot as Graham tries to resist teaching CJ too quickly about pleasuring a man and vice versa. Lauren and Lili were a great team for this book and hope they join forces again! Absolutely worth the read.....and re-read again and again.
