When relating to Bryan, Kat at times came across as the seventeen years old she once was. Liked Bryan from the very beginning of the book. I knew he was a good guy, adorable and selfless. I love his declarations of love! so ardent... Just like his proposal. My heart went to pieces for him! Overall love the story, the ending was beautiful.

If you're one who likes positive endings them this is one for you. This is a story that confirms the phrase meant to be.
The development of the relationship of kat and Bryan the second time around was truly heart warming and proves that if you are meant to be, you will be able to get passed all the trials life brings both individually and together.

I really liked this short and sweet romance between Kat and Bryan. Kat, once too young for Bryan to be with physically, is now all grown up and the two are forced to work together for her college mentorship. Old emotions reawaken and Kat must decide if she can take a chance with Bryan again. While there are some sexy parts, to me this is a true romance without excessive fluid swappage.

This was such a sweet and romantic love story. It is an easy and quick read that will keep you interested throughout. It is sweet and endearing. Bryan and Kat were made for each other. I loved the lock and key creation. It is a cute story, not much drama.

I love Lauren Blakely's books!! I discovered her with the No Regrets series which is one of my favorites ~ these are amazing reads to but to me she has grown into so much more with that series ... Raw, deep, passion ... It's like you can feel exactly what the characters are feeling ... Don't get me wrong this is a great read and she knows how to feed your appetite for hot and hungry romance!! All of her books are totally hot!!!! ❤️

Short and sexy read. Perfect gooey kind of romance. I liked the relationship between Kat and Brian, and the idea that you always have something burning inside for your first love. The angst in this story is light, and it all gets wrapped In a perfect little bow. The author is talented with words, and I will be looking for more of her work.

I loved the fact that this love story has absolutely no love triangles! So I had no anxiety attacks! But beyond that it was an epic love story if you are looking to read there were a few grammar errors but very few and it didn't take away from the story!

What’s It About?
“He was my first favorite mistake…”
Kat began a jewelry business inspired by a break-up with her first love, Bryan. For five years, she juggles classes, makes jewelry, and builds her business, moving past her first big love. In graduate school, she is paired with a business mentor, who to her complete surprise, is Bryan!
She needs to pass this class in order to graduate, and her professor won’t allow her to swap mentors. Kat is stuck.
Old feelings return, but Kat fears the feelings are only one-sided. Is Bryan toying with her?
Then, Kat feels unwanted eyes on her. Somebody is watching them and that could be bad news for both Kat and Bryan. Are all the signs pointing to her and Bryan being an impossibility?
My Thoughts
I enjoy Author Lauren Blakely’s novels and was delighted to read Caught Up In Us in exchange for an honest review. I loved the main character, Kat. Kat is a young, yet savvy business woman who know what she wants and does everything to achieve her goals. Kat Harper is the furthest thing from a “damsel in distress” type heroine.
The POV is told strictly through Kat. You feel for her, and experience her highs and lows throughout the novel. She is a sweet girl who loves Hello Kitty, doesn’t drink alcohol, and cares about her family. You WANT her to succeed. This was so refreshing. I can’t tell you how many romance novels I have read where I couldn’t stand the heroine because she was manipulative/whiny/weak, etc. Author Lauren Blakely features strong women characters who are not only likable, but relatable!
I did find the story line unique, and enjoyed the way Caught Up In Us flowed. The erotic scenes were superb, and peppered throughout the novel. I would recommend this novel to readers who enjoy new-adult, erotic romance that features a strong heroine!

“I understood the meaning of the word swoon — I had become the very definition.”
“I make jewelry. I drink caramel machiattos. I wear Hello Kitty to bed. Of course I love romantic comedies,’ I said with a smile as we neared my house. But I didn’t just love them. I wanted to live within them. I wanted a love like in the movies.”

Loved it loved it loved it!!!!
A romance novel that makes you want to shake the characters into giving into their desires. I would love to see read a sequel even if it were just a novella or an epilogue of sorts but otherwise an awesome read. Looking forward to reading more of Blakely's works. :)

This book is basically the world's most perfect romantic comedy, but with really, REALLY hot sex scenes.
Seriously hot sex scenes. (You have been warned.)
I love Kat Harper and her love of movies and her ability to create awesome jewelry. And oh, did I love Bryan (even though he made some seriously dumb decisions in the past). I wish Bryan were real and that he had a sister. But the best part about this book is that even though it's seriously swoon-worthy, it felt so realistic. It feels like it could absolutely be a true story. And I like the idea of living in a world where there are these great love stories. :)
I'm happy and grateful that Lauren Blakely has three books coming out over the next few months because otherwise, I'd probably go into hardcore withdrawal when I finish Pretending He's Mine.
I don't know it's safe to say that I'm now a fan of romance novels, but I'm definitely a fan of Lauren Blakely and will read anything she writes. Highly recommended.

I really liked the story and I enjoyed it immensely my one complaint is that I was really curious what Bryan wad thinking, I wanted to hit hear his internal monologue of how he felt seeing Kat again, other than that I really, really enjoyed it.

Honestly, I am just getting back to reading for my summer and this book randomly came across my search & I don’t regret this at all. I don’t think I’ve fallen in love all over with a story and to be so relational in so many different ways, UHHH-MAZINGGG!

This story followed true to life romantic adventures that anyone who has been lucky enough to meet their soul mate at an early age, then have time apart to really appreciate that person, can relate to. This is a sweet, if explicit, love story that will warm your heart.

This was a great read! I enjoyed every moment seeing where things would lead Kat. There was a tad bit of mystery which kept things going but the one thing I would have liked would have been more outside action and mystery. Fun read overall.

Loved the business aspect both created and in the end benefited each other...the romance was head on and proved how true love will last once it has the chance to bloom...also, liked the little bit of suspense from Bryan's ex partner...enjoyed this...will definitely read more of this author's books...
