Very nice! This was a fast moving and sexy romance with great main and side characters. Carly has come guns blazing on this one and certainly delivers a sexy story that was over far too soon! I will for sure be reading the next one in the series!

Loved Lexie & Kade. Loved how she didn't put up with his crap but was also understanding of his quirks. Liked that this focused on mental health issues & showed how they were able to work thru it. Definitely a book worth reading.

Carly Phillips writes great sexy romances. Her heroes usually have some quirk or flaw, a chink in the armor that lets the plucky heroine get close enough for sparks to fly. Kaden Barnes has a former business partner trying to run him, a mis-handled false accusation in his past, and ADHD/anxiety disorder in spades. His latest in a long string of PAs, Lexie Parker, has what it takes to handle Kaden. She handles her mother's severe depression, her father's denial, and her twin sister's out-of-control bipolar disorder and the dog to boot. What's one more challenging personality? Of course neither Kaden nor Lexie plan on falling in love, but there it is. I liked the story, but the characters weren't very appealing to me. Lexie was a little too super-martyr for my taste, but she got it under control by the end of the book. I thought Kaden was way too immature to be a billionaire business executive, though I could buy into the genius geek aspect of his character. Most of the secondary characters seemed believable, except Julian, who was so under-developed he seemed almost a cartoon. Plot, pacing, sexy romance and skilled writing saved the book.

Mental illness affects so many people and families. This is refreshing as it deals how relationships are formed and changed because of it. Kaden and Lexie both find love and growth and acceptance in each other.

Carly Phillips has done it again…5 stars for this passionate, beautiful and read romance

Having been a Carly Phillips fan for more than 10 years now I can honestly say her books are only getting better than ever! Going Down Easy was a fantastic read that I could not put down. Kaden Barnes, our hero in this story, is not your typical macho heartthrob, he is flawed and real and Carly makes you fall for him with every turn of the page. Same can be said for Lexie, she has her own issues to work through and as someone who went through the same type of situation Carly truly portrayed her as a real down to earth person that you could identify with. Kade and Lexie’s love story was beautiful, passionate and real. Ms. Phillips definitely knows how to write couples that you route for and can’t wait to see finally get together. I already can’t wait to read Lucas and Derek’s stories next!!

Hot alpha billionaire with some quirks which makes him far from perfect and a sassy big hearted heroine who doesn't put up with his arrogant tendancies and actually understands him? Makes for a very sigh worthy read. I enjoyed every moment of this story. There were some touching moments and some very sexy moments as well as some fun times between Kade and Lexie. Lexie was absolutely perfect for Kade and I loved seeing how she viewed his "flaws" as something positive and still fell in love with him anyway. And I loved the fact that Kade was just like any other regular geek, (dressing down, playing video games, etc,) even though he was a billionaire. Made him more relatable, especially with his own personal issues. A wonderful beginning to a new series I can't wait to continue to read.
