I enjoyed this book, I enjoyed all the supporting characters of the book. The only thing I did not like was not enough of the Duchess. Plenty of action suspense, I read it in one sitting. I cannot wait for the next one as far as I am concerned I had to wait too long for this one. I suggest anybody who likes this type of book read it.

C'mon Glynn... This is the microwave generation where Anderle and crew put out a couple of books a month! OK, so I'm almost 50 and should have more patience. I find it personally maddening to have to wait until next year to continue reading one of the best, fluid, intricate, revealing, exciting series out there. Too DANG LONG!

(Borrowed through Kindle Unlimited) Let me just say that this series is one of the most enjoyable military sci-fi/space opera series that I've read. My only problem now is that I have to wait for the next book! This book does wrap up things at the end, while leaving plenty of story possibilites for the next book.
Yesterday's Spacemage (The Spacemage Chronicle Book 1) :: Hand of Mars (Starship's Mage Book 2) :: Supercarrier: The Ixan Prophecies Trilogy Book 1 :: Q-Ship Chameleon (Castle Federation Book 4) :: The Forgotten Engineer (Athena Lee Chronicles Book 1)

I greatly enjoyed reading book three of this series. I did get a few hours of sleep between book 2 being finished and starting book 3. But Glynn's writing captures the imagination of the readers, leaving us wanting to find out what happens next. Please start with book 1 and you won't regret it.

I wish so many named, familiar characters didn't die in this series, but the books are too good not to live with the body count. I truly care about the "people" in these books, using the term loosely, because the aliens are my favorite part! I highly recommend this series if you enjoy any type of science fiction.

I hope you have been reading this series from the beginning because it really needs a background to understand where everyone is coming from. We get into a few secrets and things we didn't know about some of the alien races. Good ending but you still know there is more to come.

How to advance an entire civilisation that has been conquered by a technologically advanced race?
The future of humanity looks bright as this book concludes. It is a fun and enjoyable adventure for mankind. Let's have some more.

I have enjoyed this whole series. The characters are good, the tech believable and there are some good ideas for tech. I love that there are no "implants". Implants always seem like a crutch to keep characters alive when it is not needed.

An exciting read. New insight is revealed about key players in the Duchess of Terra series. The story builds to a gigantic battle between the most powerful forces in the galaxy. The big problem..it happens on and above the new Terran colony.

Another excellent installment in the Duchy of Terra series. The book is an engaging read that grows on the roots of the previous two installments, creating a rich and engaging world. Mr. Stewart is a talented writer, in some ways reminiscent of David Weber (but without the MEGO technobabble).

Impressive story telling! Mr. Stuart is a natural spinner of plausible machinations while not being predictable. His characters remain consistent and the storyline entertaining. Looking forward to book four in 2018.

Good good good good ?great ?fantastic! You can tell I don't like 8th grade book reports as reviews. I just tell what I think of the book. Every book this author has written to date has been excellent in my opinion!

This continuation of the series was absolutely wonderful and impossible to put down! I can't wait to see what comes in the next trilogy! If you like Honor Harrington or Vatta's War, then you will love this series.

The series continues to be highly engaging, with believable, multi-dimensional characters, great balance of story line and sci-fi elements and new and unexpected developments. Overall, great read, very enjoyable. I look forward to future installments.

Glynn Stewart is arguably one of the best science fiction writers of our time! This series, one of several actually, will capture the reader's attention and keep the reader enthralled right to the very end and get leave them hungry for more! I am DEFINITELY a fan!!

Absolutely fantastic , a very well done space/science series (I've read the previous 2 of this series as well, this review covers all 3), Well developed, in depth characters - an especially good nod to the author's ability to develop non human characters without making them seem as if they are just 'humans' in alien skins, but with their own society's, foibles, etc completely different from our own in this future time. Not so far into the future however that the science isn't comprehensible - the science in these books is not Magic (although there are other authors who I follow who have no problems with 'science as magic' - The Kutherian Gambit series is one such). And this favorably compares to MA's work - if you like the works of his and his co-conspirators in writing, I'm sure you will enjoy this author's work just as much. Well Done Glynn Stewart, and I eagerly await more of the Duchess of Terra!
