I loved Harlow(Ink) & Ethan(Diesel)'s story! They go through so much in such a short time, but manage to cling to each other and their growing love. I adore the fact that she is a Female Tattoo Artist! Everyone who likes MC romance must read this book- it's free and Book 2 Duke is about to release, so get caught up!!!!

Harlow is twenty years old and looking for a fresh start, her mother died when she was just four years old and she was raised by her father and his MC The Skulls MC but now her father is dead and she no longer feels comfortable there, in fact the President of the Skulls 'Hawke' made her feel so scared she had to leave.
Harlow's dream has always been to be a tattooist so armed with her portfolio she heads for Aces Tattoo shop.
Now I have to say I struggled at first with this, even allowing for Harlow being nervous and with everything she'd been through recently she still seemed a bit off, almost bipolar. I don't want to make this a spoiler review but you'll know what I mean if you read it.
Harlow meets Diesel and the attraction is instant but they both come with loads of baggage, some of it dangerous. Is it possible for these two to beat the odds?
I have to say after the bumpy start I enjoyed this read, a British MC book as well its not often I come cross one of those, although I'm being honest it didn't seem that British.
I liked all the Aces MC characters and I'll be reading Dukes book next, its already on my kindle waiting.
This is a softer MC read, I noticed one review compared it to Mills & Boon and I suppose it is a kind of Mills & Boon does MC and while I generally prefer a nice dark and gritty MC this made a change and overall I enjoyed it.

DNF. Really strange book.
Negatives:
1. I reached 25% and we already have 4 different POV (it switches from Raven to Diesel to another guy then to Diesel's sister).
2. It's set in England. We don't have guns or bikers here and we certainly don't talk like that (many Americanisms)
3. They Hero is meant to be a bada$$ biker but he and the heroine have a heart-to-heart (at their first meeting) about people misunderstanding them <rolls eyes> and being judgemental etc BOOHOO. The author really needs to learn about pacing. This heart-to-heart would be appropriate after several meetings.
4. INSTA-LUST : pet hate of mine. They lock eyes and it's swooning and getting wet and what not. I prefer a gradual attraction
5. One dimensional characters. Having tattoos and driving motorbikes and playing "dress up" isn't enough to be a biker either
6. The writing style is very childish and doesn't read like a biker read, more like a sweet Mills & Boon. They're all back-patting and chuckling over the heroine who tries too hard to sound sassy but just sounds silly. Everyone is admiring everyone and becoming best buddies within a few chapters (not to mention having heart-to-hearts)
7. The heroine changes her clothes into the $exy biker chick look so that she could get a job. I t would have worked better if she hid behind a frumpy or smart look and then revealed her $exy biker credentials - it would have added to the plot and created some chemistry and mystery
8. Really poor grammar and spelling errors. If it doesn't affect the work I can ignore it but this was ridiculous
-----------------
Positives
1. It's free
-------------------------------------
The plot is ok but the author seriously needs to get an editor. As others have commented there are several different narrators and POV in 1 paragraph. The grammar and spelling is atrocious
Also, if your writing about bikers then don't make them all sweet and approachable

This author is new to me however I will definitely be reading more of her books!
Harlow is an artist who works with ink-on skin! She applies and gets a job run by the Aces MC. Diesel, VO of the club, is instantly intrigued and attracted to her.
There is plenty of strong alpha characters and sassy females as well. There is plenty of action and there are some interesting twists and turns that make this an exciting read.
A great quick book!
