This book is fantastic!. The story line is awesome and the characters are amazing!.
Orson is a big sexy Bear shifter. He is the Alphas son Orson stays in trouble all the time with his Father. Because of his playboy ways. Orson does not want to marry the she-Bear Cloe his Father has chosen for him. Cloe and Orson have known each other all their lives and Cloe does not want to marry him either.
To blow off steam Orson goes to a supernatural bar. There he meets Casey she is curvy,beautiful and an amazing cook!. Plus she just calls to his Bear. But his Father would not approve of her as she is a human. Cloe talks Orson into challenging his Father for Alpha status plus going after Casey. And boy does he go after her lol.
I can not wait to read the next book!. This writer is incredible I know I will be looking for more books by A.J Tipton!

I enjoyed it. This book was over very quickly but did not lack in entertainment. The narration was very good. This author did a great job with her characters. This was my first book by this author but definitely will not be my last. I look forward to reading other stories in this series. I was given a free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This was a quick little read. It was wonderful and well written.

Orson had a father that went by old rules when it came to being a alpha to his clan. Orson was being forced into an arranged marriage but had no love for his fiancé.

Casey was a human that worked in a supernatural bar. She was trying to get her catering business. She had a client cancel at the late minute and was left with a lot of food. Orson paid for the food but it was just a way to talk to her. That little gesture would prove to be big. How big? Would Orson go through with the arranged marriage or would he stand up to his father and go after someone he truly loved?

I received an arc in exchange for a honest review. This is my first book by the author A.J. Tipton and I loved it! Orsen is being forced into a marriage by his father who is alpha who believe in the old ways. Orsen has a thing for curvy human which his father hates human. Their Orsen or his so called fiancee Cleo want to get married. And Orsen really doesn't wanna fight his father until Casey who is a curvy human who worked at a magical shifter bar. This story is short but it has a good full story that bring you into this shifter world and want to read more about all the characters you meet. I cant wait to read the next book!

Loved this short story. I loved the writting and the romance was so sweet. What do you get with a chef and a gizzley? A match made in heave.
Orson and Casey met at a dinner she worked at when she had left over food that she had catered for buy the client canceled at the last minute. They had stared at each other before but never spoke. Orson just handed her a bunch of money and took the food home with him.
There started a romance that turned quickly to love. Much against his alpha father's wishs. Orson was doomed to fight his father for the Alpha position to both save his clan and his love.
This book is full of sweetness,laughter and some bad moods ,but just a wonderful short story. I highly recommend it .

Alphas Heir is a very short story that started out in a captivated way. The story did feel a bit rushed to me as far as events. While you were able to like the characters you were not able to really connect with them before the story was over and I really thought this story has potential. I felt the author's choice of using bear shifters was very smart because you don't often read about bears so it brought a unique quality to it. Based on content this is for 18+ audiences. This book is awesome. Orson is a sexy, strong, and intelligent hero that takes what he wants. Casey is a curvy, smart, and saucy heroine that loves to cook. Together they create a thrilling story with suspense and loads of chemistry. I love how Tipton weaves shifter history into the story line and masterfully crafts the perfect love story between a bearshifter and a human. I did receive this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

What a delightful short read! The characters were well developed in such a short time; starting with the antagonism between father (Nikolai) and son (Orson). Skip to the bar and meet the intriguing females there: Audrey, Lola, and Casey. I loved the humor there particularly the first interaction between Casey and Orson. Add the childhood friend, Cleo, who doesn't want to marry Orson, the developing romance between Casey and Orson, an Alpha battle, and some spicy sex...and Wow! I want more stories about the other characters.

(copy gifted in exchange for honest review) This is a up and coming author and I must say this is a good book. The sex scenes were steamy and there was great conflict between orson and his father. Casey is just like the rest of us a real woman. She has more curves than your average woman and is a little self conscious about them as well as trying to get everything started about her buisness. Orson is alpha materiel but unlike all the other alphas he is very different. He has the body and the strength but he is a man that is all about technology and for him the way he sees or views his fathers clan is different from how his father views it. The characters are amazing together. I do love this book and I give the three star rating because this book left me wanting a better explanation orsons father and the old way of things as well as a little more background one caseys past and more about the other characters. This book has so many interesting characters that you want to know more about and I cant wait to see what is in store for lola and audrey and cleo as well. I do recommend this book 100%

If you lover Shifter stories, you will love the Alpha Heir by A J Tipton. This book is hot and sexy and you will full in love with this Alpha. You will cringe when there is a battle for control and a new way of life. You wonder if Casey and Orson will have a happy ever after.

This is the first book I have read by A J and I am looking forward to reading more.

I received this book for my honest opinion. This book was good for a short story. I'm not big on short stories but it was sex and romance and a little drama. I wish I could have had more on the ending so we know what happens later on in life.

A well written shapeshifter romance.An easy, enjoyable read with a hunky alpha bear shifter, his sweet and curvy mate, his kickass childhood playmate ( her story is book 2 ) and an HEA pararomance readers will love. Holy smokes! What a rush. Tipton took me on quite the ride with this one. This short, fast paced story had a bit of everything. I got my daily dose of paranormal, memorable character that I could connect with, and scenes that sizzle. The author works her descriptions in throughout the story, developing the scene as she tells her incredible story. I was amazed at how complete & full of a story it was, considering the page length. I felt like I’d actually become part of the characters’ lives by the end.

I’m a fan of BBW as main characters, especially when the characters themselves are ok with who they are. There’s a sense of realism and connection between character and reader at this point in time. Tipton’s female lead definitely personifies this. Above and beyond that, I really liked Casey as a person. Getting to know her was a rare treat. She really stood out for me, even against a drool-worthy Alpha male like Orson. Seeing the conflicts that he was working through within himself while still working towards the greater good was something that I won’t soon forget. Together, these two set my kindle on fire.

Fun, funny, & sexy as sin. That’s definitely how I’d sum up this story. Tipton had me hooked from beginning to end with this short & sweet taste of the love of a paranormal Alpha.

Another cute story by this author. The thing I love most about her stories are the way she portrays her heroes. They are down to earth guys that know what they want and go after it but not in the usual arrogant way most alpha shifters are portrayed. The ladies in her stories are curvy and strong women. They also know what they want and when it is offered they jump right in and take it! The struggles in this book are portrayed with humor even though they are some pretty serious issues. Pitting father and son against one another is just a fact of nature even if they are not shifters. Real situations people deal with everyday put into a fantasy that is thoroughly entertaining. Fun read!

The title is kind of misleading this is not a pregnancy book. Which I'm grateful for.
I liked this book. Yes it is short. But it has a lot of character development, action, and insight into how a bear shifter community is ran. Going to read the next book in the series.

This is a sweet story of Orson & Casey. Orson is engaged to Cleo because of his father trying to bring to clans together under his Alpha son.

Orson has a different idea because neither want to marry each other. Orson has fallen for Casey who is a chef at his favorite restaurant.

Orson has to prove that he was the alpha so he challenges his father for who would be the alpha on the clan.....

To find out what happens I suggest you read the sweet short story for yourself.

I enjoyed the characters in this story. Typical father telling son what to do, but still clinging to the old ways. Two people to notice each other finally take it to the next level. I plan on reading more from this author as the story moves at a good pace with hardly any repeating.

Light storyline, but a fun read. Why do most shifter books all about sex and light on plot? Although I did like the characters, we could have had some more story besides how quick they could jump on each other.

...a passion filled story both inside the bedroom and the kitchen! New to this author, I went into the story with a curiosity of the style of writing, with the story itself coming second. I can honestly say that I was captivated from the very first page...completely lost in the story and not even thinking about my original curiosity of style over content. The pace of a short story very often can leave the reader wanting more depth, but not in this case...the gaps in time are so smoothly transitioned that you never feel as if you have been cheated out of the story in order to accomplish the needs of a shorter length. My appetite for more from this author has been whet...not only for more from these characters, but other stories as well.

This was a wonderful story of the normal girl getting the really awesome guy and the perk is he is a bear. She has some help from (Lola our little book witch).. I love all these short stories. This one has lots of action. Sex, love , and happily ever after. I was given this book for an honest review.

This is fast read. Not long and involved, more like this is a few chapters of a book. I usually like more of an involved read but if you're looking for something fast and snappy, this was a good fast read. Spoiler: because the book is so short, with not a lot of character development, it will leave you with lots of questions at the end.

I liked that there was lots of heat in this tried and true romance plot and an unusual and unexpected ally in the effort to keep the lovers together.
Short and sweet but, with a dash of spice that makes the audio version not exactly suitable for work or car ride with the kiddies.
