The vendor wasted no time sending out my book! I almost finished reading it when the four other books I ordered the same day from other vendors arrived. I will make sure to order from this vendor from now on. Clearly this bookstore has their act together. Well done!

Sophie Kinsella is one of my favorite authors, so I was excited to read this book, and I certainly wasn't disappointed! I was laughing from the very start. This is a great book for sitting outside and enjoying the sun. It's a simple pleasure, and that's the point! I hope that Kinsella follows up on Samantha. I look forward to her next adventure!

Funny! Well-written, sincere, and silly all in one package. Love Ms. Kinsella's heroine, not just b/c I could relate to her dilemma on leaving the legal world, but entranced by her desire to leave her a "whole woman" upon resolution of the book. Light, yet warm and endearing. Wish there was a sequel!

Kinsella keeps making me sooo happy every time she writes a new book! The only sad thing abut this book is that I did not wanted it to over! You get so consumed in the story that you can't stop reading!! I laugh so hard and enjoyed it so much as her other books! Really recommended. She knows what she writes and how to do it.

Loved the story and again like any S. Kinsella novel, I want to go to England! It was funny how as a lawyer and not knowing any maid duties, the girl got away with so much lying and help. Really entertaining~

The Undomestic Goddess was great. I was drawn in right away. The fact that it takes place in England confused me for a minute, because I wasn't expecting it. You really connect with the character and all her foibles. Endearing.

This has been my favorite Sophie Kinsella book yet, other than the shopaholic series. Well I haven't read any I didn't love but this was one was very entertaining with a great twist. I would definitely recommend this along with the rest of her books.

I love every book that Sophie Kinsella has written. Her books are entertaining and engaging. Her character development in this book (as well as all of her other books) is excellent - I feel like the main character is a good friend of mine becasue I know her so well. I HIGHLY recommend this book!

This and "Can you Keep a Secret" are my favorites of Kinsella's works. I was writhing in sympathetic agony at times, and laughing at others, and a book that engages me like this is a great find. Sometimes I have trouble sympathizing with, or liking, Kinsella's protagonists, but I was rooting for our main character all the way. Super enjoyable, good depth and plot. This one's a keeper for sure.

I enjoyed The Undomestic Goddess. It was a very pleasant read: well-written, good plot though somewhat predicatble. The first part was the most fun for me as nobody does things going pear-shaped like Kinsella. I especially loved some of the first domestic attempts described. If you want some light and fun reading, this is your book!

Met my annual reading goal early and decided to treat myself to something less serious. I absolutely devoured this book in a few sittings. The characters, even minor ones, are well developed. I found myself cheering for the heroine until the very end. Great read!

A great light read. I normally hate reading, but I devoured this book! Maybe it's because I'm a lawyer at a big firm like the lead character in this book, so I found it particularly funny for that reason. I think anyone would enjoy it though!

I read the whole Shopaholic series, great books, so I was eager to start reading her other books, and bought them all at the same time! I started reading this one, and I'm sorry, I know, and expect it to be, a "light and funny book", but I could not keep reading this. When this career woman makes a big mistake at work, and later on gets mistaken for a maid, and can't seem to be able to tell her new employer that she isn't and just stays there... Now I have this other book from her I didn't read yet, Can you keep a secret, I might get to read it someday, but I'm just not interested anymore. Thank God I read the Shopaholic series first, so I know that this author is capable of writting a good story, but The Undomestic Goddess book, is definately not her best one.

After loving almost all of Sophie's other books, this one was really a let down. I understand that it's fiction, but this was so unbelievable it came off as ridiculous. SPOILER: I couldn't believe after Samantha's blatant back and forth wishy washiness that the law firm kept begging her to come back. NO WAY.

Don't waste your time on this one.

This is a predictable fluff read - which is what I was looking for at the time. It's an easy fun read with likeable characters. If a girlfriend asked me for a book to read while by the pool or just something to get her mind off reality, I'd recommend it.

I love Sophie Kinsella' s work. Her wit throughout this piece is much appreciated; she's managed to pull off a character who is, at once, both intelligent and ridiculously incapable of mundane tasks like cooking and cleaning. I laughed, I cried, I enjoyed.

I recently discovered Sophie Kinsellas' books and absolutely love them. Her books are written with such wit and charm along with with a great story line of adventures. I have a hard time putting them down! I can't wait to read the rest of her books.
