Sky Raiders (Five Kingdoms)

I enjoy the fantastic settings, which are written in such a way as to create vivid pictures of place. The conflicts raise interesting questions about contemporary issues. Basically the adventures the characters have interest me. It is a real page Turner.

We've read the Fablehaven and Beyonders series, and so far Five Kingdoms does not disappoint. Lots of creativity in the new world the series starts with, and we expect much more as the series continues. Action and adventure! The storyline is 'familiar' with nearly impossible odds and a big bad antagonist. Looking forward to the next book...

Brandon Mull is one of my favorite authors and this book is a fun and entertaining read. It is pretty hard to top the first 4 books in Fablehaven and Beyonders, but this is the same caliber of writing.

Brandon Mull does it again, truly a gifted writer. The imagination in his stories is amazing. The Five Kingdoms series looks like it's on it's way to become another Mull Masterpiece.
Action, Magic, Royalty, Misfits, Outlaws and more, it almost borders on Nix books but with better writing.

There is nothing greater than a writer being able to take the reader to the world they are reading about and make them feel as though they are in the story. Brandon Mull has succeeded in this book, again. Fablehaven was magnificent and Sky Raiders is taking me on a whole new adventure! Thank YOU!!
