Accelerated Ebola virus, Zombie Virus and Berserkers all in one book makes for plenty of excitement and action. Some new characters were introduced which should make other stories fun. However only giving this story 3 opposed to 5 stars because the villain just didn't translate to a truly evil individual like previous JL advisories, it seemed like really just a disturbed/narcissistic lady who want to be recognized for her greatness and achieve more power.

This novel and extinction machine both had weak villains, Hope the author brings a juggernaut bad guy for his next book

Once again Jonathan Maberry brings us into the universe of Joe Ledger and the DMS.... and once again the story is maximum excitement and suspense from start to finish.

My single regret is having to wait for the next one.... if you haven't read anything else in this series, do yourself a huge favor and buy everything this man writes... starts at Patient Zero.. go get them all!

I have enjoyed every book in this series. I would highly recommend that you start with the first one though because Joe has been through so much to get to where he is at now. He is a unique and fascinating character and well worth getting to know better. I hope there will be more.

I really liiked "Patient Zero" by Jonathan Maberry and had hoped this book would be as good as that. Unfortunately "Code Zero" drags its feet like the zombies it describes. I had figured out the identity of Mother Night while Joe Ledger was getting coffee and being worried about his girlfriend. I don't follow politics in Amerika, but if a man like the VP described in this book ever gets to VP - you kind of start liking the zombies.

Easily the least interesting book in this series. Many holes in the story. Like the hole in "Bunnys" hammer suit that was never addressed. How did he survive the ark room at the locker? His hand was exposed. This book feels like a seized draft as opposed to a finished product.

I love Ledger and the gang, and they .did entertain me once again. The down side was I figured out the plot way before the end. Still a fun ride to the end of this book. Hoping for new scenarios in the next installment.

Jonathan Maberry is one of the few writers who can keep me glued to a chair with my kindle for hours on end. This novel didn't disappoint. Joe Ledger is one of my favorite heroes (on par with Repairman Jack). I just don't know how much more he can take emotionally and physically! Hope he hangs in there for a while. Buy this book. You won't be disappointed.

Joe Ledger and Echo Team save the world again. Mr. Maberry does not disappoint. The only thing I did not like was that it ended too soon for me. I'm hoping to not have to wait another year for the next installment.
