I really enjoyed this book- plot, characters and setting are all well written to form a fine novel. I was going to assign 4 stars, but I wanted to accept that a premise regarding the level of invasion will be addressed. I liked the idea of the financial issues. A really good book! I look forward to Book II.

I am completely captivated by this story , could hardly put it down. Found a few editing/proof reading errors, but not enough to impact the story much. I can't wait to read the next installment. Well worth the read.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the series has developed marvelously. Each book in the series has become better and the story more intriguing. I suggest to anyone who is looking for an entertaining and fun read to start Dawn of Destiny. Be warned though, once you read this book, you will want to read the others.

This is a very interesting book. I read it because at the time it was free on the store.com. I appreciated that the author put a Christian character in it and didn't make him look like a fool. Also I enjoyed reading it without the sex that some authors feel they must do it so somebody will read their books. I will definitely be buying the next Epic books.

I really enjoyed this story. A little too much religion for my usual taste, but the main character wasn't preachy about it. There are a lot of characters when they get to Russia and I got them a little confused a time or two. Overall, a great story.

Science fiction with a much needed additon. It is a fast paced story, has solid characters and a likeable leading man. I love that this science fiction epic includes a hero with strong faith. This is a great story all the way around and I'm buying the next one today.

Just a little conflicted. I like the characters that I was suppose to like and disliked the ones that were unlikable. The actions scenes were good and overall I did enjoy the book. I wasn't thrilled that the main character puts so much faith in a nonexistent mythical entity but none the less I will purchase the next book in the series. (gmc 9/7/17)

*****EDIT*****
I usually encounter two types of dialog, 1) pertinent dialog which is germane to the storyline and 2) "fluff" or filler dialog which can be interesting but does not really add to the plot of the story, i.e. why Johnny left home to join the Marines. A paragraph is usually sufficient but 15 is overkill and, for me, boring.

I bought books 2 and 3 at the same time. If I had just bought book 2 I would have stopped reading the series then and there. Book 3 kind of redeem the series and despite the filler dialog I read on. I did speed read much of books 4, 5, 6, and 7, however the actions scenes kept my interest to purchase the sequence of books.

Just before the great train robbery in book 7, I couldn't take it anymore and deleted the book from my Kindle. I lost interest and got bored with the filler dialog.

It's not a bad series but also not a great series. (gmc 10/2/17)

One of the best science fiction books I have read in a very long time. This book is gripping from page one. The character development is artful, the action is intense and the imagery the author manages to create is stunning. I found myself holding my breath and gripping the edges of my Kindle with my heart racing. My only complaint is the amount of sleep I lost because I could not put this book down. I can't wait to read the next one!

This book compels the reader to keep reading. It creates an atmosphere of great suspense for everyone. It may not be perfect, but it makes you think and evaluate yourself as to how you think you would respond under these circumstances. Well done Lee!

Very nice Vivid characters!
Also just a lovely world Lee has created! I hardly see anything wrong with this book so just go ahead and buy it! The main character is average at the start and just is remade into EDENS perfect soldier. The side characters also DESERVE a mention! You got your funny guy the lucky guy and the girl back home. So please just buy this book!

If you like military scifi you should enjoy this book series. The books are very well written and interject a good moral conflict throughout the story. It's not a shallow, shoot em up type book but a more well thought out emotional story that happens to have a lot of action. Without giving too much away, if you enjoy military type scifi and want something with a little more depth to it, as opposed to some of the generic stuff out there, then this is a good book for you.

Absolutely loved every second of it, and wasted no time at all buying Outlaw Trigger after reading this book. Every character, minor or major, had unique personalities that kept me interested in the story from start to finish, not to mention the action and suspense-filled moments that actually brought me to the edge of my seat while reading.

This book was very interesting and always kept me wondering and guessing what would happen next. I only didn't like how some of the characters died of before you got a chance to even get a connection with them like the rest of the characters. The preview to the next book got me interested and I look forward to reading it

Well written with an excellent story line with well defined characters. I have read lots of military sci-fi and this novel kept me interested and I was unable to put it down. The version I got was a free free Kindle download, but now I'm gonna have to buy the next two in the series!
