Drop everything and read this book! In this sequel to Seven Years, Six Months continues the sexy, steamy, action-packed adventure of our beloved Weston wolf pack. This book follows April, Lexi's co-worker/business partner, and Reno Cole. I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book as much as the previous one, especially since I really connected with Lexi and Austin, but have no fear, because this book will blow your mind. The chemistry between April and Reno knows no bounds, and is instant. You can feel their attraction to each other dripping off the pages. I loved every second of it.

Ms. Dark knows exactly how to tell an amazing story. She has superb storytelling skills that will leave you breathless and needing a fan (for those extra steamy sex scenes). I could easily picture everything; from the characters to the house the Weston pack lives in. I felt as if I was right there, living in the house with them. And come on...who among us wouldn't want to live with these sexy boys! However, Ms. Dark explains the world extremely well. I feel like a person who is new to the series could actually start with this one, and not be confused. The dynamics of the wold pack and Shifter world, as well as the culture, loyalty, and love they have for each other is easily seen and understood. It sucks you in, and never lets you go. Additionally, everything is set up nicely for future books, and it gives us an exciting peek into what Ms. Dark has in store for us (even though I still have no idea what to expect!).

All of the characters are brilliant, once again, and it makes me even more excited for the future books to learn more about each brother. Austin and Lexi are heavily present in the story still, but the story truly focuses entirely on April and Reno. While it did take me a little bit to get into April's character, because there were a couple times where I was frustrated with her and her decisions, by halfway in, I loved her. She has a great sense of humor, and is very independent. I will say though, I didn't love Reno and April as much as I loved Lexi and Austin, but they definitely are a close second. Both April and Reno and perfect for each other, and they both have heartbreaking stories. It was interesting and great to delve more in depth with their characters, and I know that we will see more of them in future books.

Overall, this is a fantastic story that has non-stop action and adventure. It is packed (no pun intended) with uber-sexy shifters that you can't help but fall in love with, and plenty of steam. This is definitely a great paranormal-romance that will please plenty of fans of the genre. While you don't have to read the first one in order to enjoy this, I highly recommend reading it because it just makes you love the story and the characters even more. I highly recommend this book for fans of Ms. Dark, and can't wait to read the next book in the series! Happy reading :)

I friend suggested the Mageri series by Dannika Dark, The first book had me hooked by the middle & the complete series is my Fave :) I was not surprised I love this series also. The characters, story etc makes it so easy to get lost in these books. I can't wait for the next one. My advise is don't skip these series!

I was hestitant to read this after reading 7 years and getting attached to Austin and Lexi, I wasn't sure I wanted to move onto his brother Reno. Boy was I wrong! Dannika does a fantastic job of making you love all of the Cole brother and their "extended family." Fantastic!

I liked that this storyline gave the main character some serious issues that the hero couldn't just ride in and fix immediately. She was trying to fix her problems on her own. Their romance was hot, too!

Six Months is an amazingly written book about flaws, strength, courage, love, hope, patience, acceptance, and forgiving not just others but also one’s self.
April Frost was someone that you meet every day, a person who has been knocked down more times than they can remember, but who always gets back up. She tried to meet each new challenge head on, not always with the best outcome, but she still tried. She wanted to owe no one, yet owed everyone, and when the final straw broke that proverbial camel’s back she finally hit rock bottom.
From the outside, Reno Cole looks like a typical hard-ass ex-soldier, who strikes fear in those that come upon him. Deep down, he is just a man who wants what is right, no man to lay a hand on a woman or child, no person to go unloved, and everyone to find their happiness. He is loyal to a fault, and will die for those he loves, and he loves April.
Reno teaches April that she is perfectly imperfect, and that mistakes are ok because everyone makes them, and that no matter how it ends, happiness is found in getting there together.
Out of all of Dannika’s work this is my favorite to date. She touches that part of your heart that helps you relate and find a little piece of yourself in her characters, fall in love with them and hate to see them go.

"Holy smokes" lol I loved this book! I literally read it in one day. I had read the first book and was skeptical about how much I'd like this book because I just loved Austin and Lexi but Dark did it. I really liked these characters. You won't regret reading this book/series. I highly recommended it.

Love the character descriptions, I feel like I know them personally. I can't wait to learn more about the rest of the characters in the next books in this series. I'm excited to see what path they all take and what the future brings for each of them

I was apprehensive of this book, I was skeptical since the story transitions to the point of view of different characters. I was clutching onto Lexi and Austin's story and I didn't want the focus to shift. But, it only took a few pages for that thought to leave my mind. I actually enjoyed this story MORE than part one. Towards the end I was highly frustrated with the misled self sacrificing going on ( it's one of my book pet peeves and I HATE when characters do it). But, otherwise, it was a highly emotional story and i dare say I have a new favorite character in this world...Reno <3

This book evoked every human emotion I have. The characters made me happy, at times I hated the choices they made, but I love the story. You simply don't know what is going to happen next yet I am always satisfied by the end.

This. Book will keep you turning pages it is better than the first book. You just never know what will happen next. It will really show what family is all about. You will be shocked how it ends can't wait for next one.

Heroine's dull and cliche. The males are likable. Shifters in this series are different from any books I've read. They don't remember what happens when they are their animals, they don't scent each other, they can't change someone to name a few differences.

I adored this book. The characters were awesome, as was the suspense. I enjoyed the twists in the storyline, as well as the perceived issues of t h e characters. Overall the book is one that I will re-read just because I enjoyed it.

For anyone loving wolves, vampires and other mystical beings and books with happy endings this series is for you. It combines adventure with romance and life changing experiences with ease. Each character is interesting unto him or herself and has his or her own story. A very good read leaving you ready to love the next character in the series.
