Scott Harvath seems to be maturing as a character quite nicely. Having just completed the series it has been interesting to see the growth of the character. Brad Thor has done a good job in that respect. He continues to write entertaining books that keep you on the edge of your seat. I can't wait for the next one to be published!

The series continues as Scot Harvath continues to evolve. The mix of Scot's adventures in Afghanistan with the unraveling of the presidency made for a good read. As usual, the details regarding covert ops were interesting.

Brad Thor can paint pictures in my mind that will not allow me to put the book down easily. He sets up this drama with characters that come out of the national news in 2009 .... the intrigue and suspense are totally believable and push your pulse with each change and turn of events.

His knowledge of clandestine operations gives the book just the right amount of authenticity for even the most hard core military minds that may read it. His subplots move quickly and with the elements of mystery that stay woven into the main story. Scott Harvath once again takes danger by the throat and gives it his all.

You will not be disappointed in ANY Brad Thor book, they are all gripping, unique and outstanding! This book would be an excellent movie!!
