Thoroughly enjoy Terry Pratchett's books. I really liked this series. Excellent characterizations and the "wee free men" though having only a small part in this story compared to the other three books are a riot. (literally, lol.)

The next (final?) installment in the Tiffany Aching series, this one doesn't disappoint. It's another can't-put-down read, a great ending to Tiffany's story arc, though I hope to see her many more times in Sir Terry's works. And of course, the Feegles play their part!

I have loved Terry Pratchett for years, and own the entire Discworld series.
I Shall Wear Midnight is a very satisfying read - so good I hated for it to end.
Must admit, that is how I have felt about pretty much every Pratchett book.
Thank you, Terry. Your books take me to my happy place.

I love and own all Discworld books. I bought most of them in England because they come out there first. Just went to Portugal and saw a new book. I am waiting for the new book to be available on the store. Obviously they are good because the price never goes down.

I love anything this man writes, but, the Discworld novels are beyond amazing! His sense of humour and a keen insight into human nature make his books unique. This is the third book in the Tiffany Aching series her friends the Wee Free Men a.k.a. Nac Mac Feegle are 6 inches high, blue with red hair and love nothing more than drinking, stealing and fighting. They are sworn to help Tiffany whether she wants it or not. This is the best Tiffany book yet, as she's growing up, nearly 17 now her life becomes more complex and this is a fabulous read!

This book follows Terry Pratchett's tradition of great books with strong, interesting characters. The Tiffany Aching character continues to grow into a witch and a woman. My only caveat is the themes in the book start to get a little mature for the target audience. I would love to give this book to my 4th grade niece or read it allowed to her younger sister, but I think I would get in trouble with my sister. I'm not talking about anything graphic, but it does address themes of abusive people and even the need for sex education.

Great book! I have been hooked on Terry Prachett since I found The Color Of Magic. The book was exciting, made you think about things you don't normally think about. And, if you weren't careful you might learn something.

This was a pretty good book, although after the previous books in the series, the idea that a witch "does the job in front of her because someone has to," has gotten kind of stale. It's a good important message that people of responsibility do the job required of them, but the seemingly constant repetition of this fact grew a bit tedious to me.

This series was my first introduction to Terry Pratchett. Even though it was written as junior fiction I thoroughly enjoyed the story as well as the author's style. Since then I have read other Terry Pratchett books and wonder why I had never been introduced to him before. I am grateful to my oldest son for sharing the books with me

I have never read anything by Terry Pratchett that I did not want to read again and again.
This series is aimed at teen readers but I do believe adults {me 50} can get something out of it. It is a compelling tale.

Not a bad read! I LOVE Terry Pratchett . I really like to read the Discworld novels. This however is not his best one. The heroine is an interesting character and I like the Feegles.I thought the story a bit complicated and motives a little hard ( for me at least) to fully understand but enjoyed it nonetheless. I think I prefer the less complicated Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg.
Worth the read though definitely , so recommended to all Discworld fans.

A great book in perfect condition and received a couple days before the predicted delivery date. Terry Pratchett never fails to entertain, either! If you love the Discworld series, don't miss this one!

I have followed Tiffany Aching and the Wee Free Men through all four books with great enthusiasm. I'm a great fan of Terry Pratchett anyway but these make me sad that I have no granddaughter to give them to.

This is the fourth book of the Tiffany Aching subseries of Discworld. It is ... eventually good. The beginning, though, is very very dark, much darker than any other Discworld book. There is a plot explanation for much of this, eventually, but until you get to it, you may find yourself wondering if it's worth continuing to read (at least, if you're used to the more light-hearted style of most of Discworld). It is. It gets better, and ends on a rather impressive high note.

I'd probably give the last half of the book 5 stars, and the first half maybe 2-2.5. As a compromise, I'll rate the thing altogether as 3.

For parents, since this is aimed at the young adult audience, I'd recommend reading the first few chapters before letting your child read it. There is some rather disturbing content there.

Terry Pratchett. If you haven't read him, this is a great way to get your feet wet. I love his Tiffany Aching series. Great for kids, great for adults. Terry Pratchett is laugh out loud funny and very wise.

Tiffany Aching teaches us all about personal responsibility and that's something we all need to be reminded of. Mind you, she does have the Nac Mac Feegles to 'help' her, and Granny Weatherwax keeping an eye on the proceedings. Recommended for everyone.

This is my favorite of the Tiffany Aching series. It brings back a great character we haven't seen in a long time, and explains her absence, and has some excellent interactions with The Watch and other Ankh Morpork characters.

When I found out that Terry Pratchet had released another book, I was so excited! And I Shall Wear Midnight did not disappoint. Written with the same funny, imaginative, lyrical language that Pratchet uses, he weaves another enticing story about Tiffany, the Feegels, and the chalk.
I highly recommend you read this book, it is wel written, funny, and has a plot that draws you in Nd keeps you interested.

Not as sharply-crafted as the earlier Tiffany Aching books, but riskier and deeper - and more closely tied to the rest of the [adult] Diskworld. Essential if you're a fan. Possibly too many loose ends if you're not. I hope there's more.

Terry Pratchett is the greatest! This book is just as good as one expects from the wittiest English author since Wodehouse. We are saddened that Mr. Pratchett is so ill these days, but he is not fading away like an old soldier - he's alive and kicking.
