Once again Mr. Greaney has written a top-notch thriller. I truly admire his writing style and attention to detail. He kept me on the edge of my seat, page after page. I look forward to the next installment of the Gray Man. My only fear is that the Gray Man may eventually meet his end, but hopefully not for a long time to come. Thank you Mr. Greaney for an awesome read!

Though Greaney continues to make the Gray Man an invincible superman with survival skills beyond human, he has finally developed his character and revealed more of his humanity. The underlying reason for the shoot-to-kill order on him remains hidden, however, and begs another sequel in the series.
Will the order be rescinded? Will Gray Man achieve a safe return to the country he loves? Will he evolve into a mere mortal? Keep writing Mr. Greaney; don't leave us waiting too long.

Greaney is a worthy successor to the Tom Clancy 'techno-thriller' crown. The Grey Man novels don't have the global reach of the Jack Ryan series, but have more of a gripping page-to-page character. Quite compelling stories!

Court Gentry is one amazing operative! And in this case, unlike most other spy and assassin novels, he gets shot, breaks bones, make blunders, but keeps on getting the job done. I'm not stopping till I've finished every one of Mark Greaney's books!

Another excellent ride that will leave you breathless. Mark Greaney has once again manged to string us along beside and sometimes inside the Grey Man as Court Gentry continues to do the right thing, despite the odds he has to overcome along the way. You won't be able to put this down until you reach the final outcome, at which point you will be just as out of breath as our hero.

Five stars or fifty for a writer who is beginning to make his mark in this genre of thrillers. This has been a great series so far and it looks like he has thrust a new Mitch Rapp onto the thriller scene with Court Gentry / Gray Man. A fine all round read for all genders.

Just finished this one. I blew through all 4, which is about as big a compliment as one can give.

This series is highly entertaining, compelling, riveting, addictive - hopefully you're getting the point.

Can't wait for the next one!

The Gray Man series combined have been one of the most thrilling assassin/spy novel series' I've had the pleasure of reading.
If I have to wait too long for the next one, I may have to start all over. "Dead Eye" was an Awesome addition to this legacy. I totally enjoyed this book.

Super exciting and captivating continuation of the Gray Man saga. We written, well orchestrated and very engaging. I'm already flowing right into the next installment and know I'll be bummed when I've finally caught up to the final chapter and will then have to wait for the next one!

Mark Greaney is the best young thriller writer out there today. His stories flow and move like an accelerating train - once you're on board you don't want to get off until the end which usually leaves you breathless and wanting more of this most compelling character, the Gray Man.

Dead Eye continues the story of Court Gentry, an operative who is lethal in every way but who struggles with his own humanity in a job that can quickly bury those traits. Dead Eye is finely drawn and compelling. It does not rely on conventions or gimmicks. The writing surprises yet is fresh and truthful. It is well written, well-researched and always holds the reader's interest.
Language is frank, honest and true to the tier one operators I have met. Weapons are authentic and perform as they do in life. Technology is treated the same way. The book is fresh as today with a timeless central figure. Mark Greaney is a super talent . I couldn't put this one down.

Mark Greaney has penned many of the Tom Clancy novels. This series is awesome in its own right. I hope Mark continues the Gray Man series for a long, long time. His style draws the reader in and puts them in the action. His ability to make the reader feel along with the main character is his strongest tool. Keep up the great work!

I really enjoyed this novel. I really appreciate the pathos and emotional depth that he gives his characters, especially Gentry. I recommend this book and series to people who enjoy escaping into a shadowy world that isn't perfect, and yet right does rise to the top. In the real world evil does often get away with horrible things and the author doesn't ignore that fact in this story. However, the character of men and women who attempt to do the right thing is seen as a strength, not a weakness. I highly recommend this series.

Good series character for the few books written. I wonder, however, if the character is complex enough to live through many more missions! That's not a requirement for a good read so, as of now, I would recommend the book for a good, quick read.

Outstanding book by Mark Greaney. Bite-size chapters with many interesting characters. I would only recommend that future novels by the author be published in hardcover. Bravo to Greaney for his superior storytelling. I hope he publishes many, many more.
