I l am a huge fan of the lorien legacy series and am always eager to learn more about my favorite characters. This story gives wonderful insight into six and was an enjoyable read from start to finish. The only thing I can think to complain about is that there wasn't more!

I havent read the whole thing yet, just bought it and am a considerable amount through already in a very short time. I am really upset at how short it is. Way overpriced!! I didnt know it was this short. Its good, but still. They should of sold it for 2.99, that would be more reasonable (& they would still make a lot of money)even with it being this short

I have read all the books in the series except for the lost files so when I ended on rise of nine I couldn't stand the wait so I started to read the lost files. Although the book looks big it is really at the end just a bunch of previews to other book in the series. I don't recommend reading this series out of order.
Hidden Enemy (Lorien Legacies - I Am Number Four :: The Fate of Ten (Lorien Legacies) :: The Power of Six (Lorien Legacies, Book 2) :: Overlooked and Undervalued - but Not Forgotten by God :: The Legacies (Lorien Legacies - I Am Number Four

I really enjoy this series and I wish these books would come out more often than once a year. These lost files really help fill in the blanks a bit and they stave off the hunger for a new book for a minute.

In my opinion this was a waste of money. What is the point of releasing this e-book if you are going to put the whole thing in the the sequel ("The Power of Six") aside from minor details. I'm a big fan of the series so far, but this is Just redundant.Read the sequel; your curiosity will be more than satisfied concerning Six, in fact everything you need to know about her is in the book along with the continuation of the story. =/

This is the amazing sequel to this collection. This is just not a detailed length book, but somewhat a novella. This provides you with you the back history to 6. We get to find out exactly how 6 was produced way up as well as properly trained by 6's Cepan, Katarina. In the event the Mogs get closer 6 as well as Katarina, in that case it really takes off. We get to discover 6's legacies come to her, and just how the woman utilizes and even controls them. In case you have read the I am Number Four, then you already know what you should expect. This can be a great connection involving I am Number Four, as well as The Powers of Six.

Quite a few have declared that this novella had been sort of high-priced. Probably it was, however it's up to the consumer to make the decision to shell out it as long as they want to. I decided to pay for it, also it was obviously a wonderful read.

An excellent teaser but really a bummer when I realized that I'd been taken in so I would buy another book. I read series books because I like the writing, plots and most significantly the characters. I get to know them and consequently I want to read more. But this book really felt incomplete, I am disappointed.

The Lorien Legacies are a series of books that has yet to be completed. The final novel is slated to come out in August. Until then many people who have read the first two have little to do but wait and wonder what will happen in the coming finale or are left to dwell on the mysteries of both Six and Nine's pasts. "The Lost Files" are a quick and fun read to answer just that question. It is a very entertaining story and serves as a great way to pass time while we must impatiently wait for the final word to be written. In all honesty it is a simple yet entertaining Lorien Legacies side note.

This book is filled with context that helps with the context of the second book in the main series. Six's history while not fully interesting is quiet educational for the understanding some what six is talking about.

With all the detail and excitement of I am Number Four, this book should be counted as a prequel to it. Anybody who read (and liked) I am Number Four should read I am Number Four: The Lost Files-Six's Legacy.

The Lost Files are short stories that fill in details between the major Lorien Legacy books. Whilst it's not necessary to read them as such, they are well worth the read as they are full of great information for the main story, as well as really enjoyable in their own right. Each of the shorts tells another piece of the puzzle in relation to one of the Garde, or another minor character, giving you back ground information.
This particular short is about Six, and her past. Six was introduced in ‘I am Number Four’, coming to the aid of Four as he fought the Mogs at the end of the story, but we know little about her history, other than she has been alone for a while, and that her Cepan is dead.
This story fills in those details, covering the time frame from the landing, up until she heads off to find Number Four.
Again, this is a great fun read, nothing overly stressing, just an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon and get into an entertaining story.
For me, I actually found the writing in this one to be a bit better quality than ‘I am Number Four’, so I am not sure if each of the books is being written by the same person under the alias ‘Pittacus Lore’ or by using that as the pen name, it has allowed them to get multiple authors to do the shorts as well as the main stories (Haven’t really bothered checking into it if anyone has, or does know?) Either way, the story line in this one was very good, and I found it interesting following how Six was… Sorry No Spoilers!!
Needless to say, Six’s journey was a lot different to Four’s and she had a difficult time.
It's worth the read to understand how she is different – that’s what is good about these short stories.
If you are a fan of the series, this is a must read.
As I have said with the other books , this is no Shakespeare, so don’t expect it, but do expect good fun, a bit of escapism and the great bit of Hero’s fighting off an evil alien race – just as this type of book should be.
If you want the Lost Files Series though - get them in the 1-3 Volume set, not individually, better value for money.

Loved it! All of characters in the Lorien books are important so it's nice to get different perspectives in the books in the present. It's equally nice to get those characters' backstories and more information about their legacies. Can't wait to read the rest!
