I have read several zombie apocolypse books and this is the first and only one that provides a look from the mind of the zombie. What a ride! The author was extremely creative and the story line was spectacular. I would highly recommend this book to other ZA enthusiasts that want a change from the typical story lines. I'm just sorry it had to end.

I bought it because it looked interesting and it was free! But it is a good book! You see the world through the "eyes" of the zombie! But you also get the survivors stories which are always fascinating! How they survived and dealt with life. My next step is to download the other books in the series!

Waking up as a zombie without being able to control the body at all would definitely be scary. This is a story that goes along with a series but this title stands alone and is independent of the series. I liked it.

awesome lead, great storyline and very well written. My favorite thing about it is what I believed to be the accuracy of both the psychological effects of the Apocalypse on human beings as well as the reality of what resources we would have at our disposal

Good book. It was interesting. I liked the ending. This might sound weird but if I got killed and two years later I wake up a zombie of course I would be scared don't get me wrong, but I would think God put me back on the earth because I didn't fulfil my purpose like I was meant to do something more, that is why he came back as the dead he still had a purpose, his purpose was to kill the guy that's been doing all these horrible things. Still though a good book.
