I was looking at replacing our Brown Bear, Brown Bear board book for the third time because my girls love it so much and saw the whole set here together. We also have Polar Bear, Polar Bear but that is also getting worn real quick. It was a garage sale find. We have previously borrowed Panda Bear, Panda Bear from the library and that was also a hit. These will be a Christmas gift for my 2 year old but my 3 year old & 6 year old will enjoy them as well. My 6 year old loves to read to her sisters and these are the perfect books for her to read to them. Althoug I'm not sure how much reading is done since all three of them have the two books we already owned memorized.

I'm a school librarian and read these to Kindergarteners and 1st graders, who love them. These books even capture the interest of my 3 year old daughter. I just bought this board book set for 20 month old triplet nieces and nephew. This is a good durable set for little ones.
Ember Rising (The Green Ember Series: Book 3) :: Loved (House of Night Other World series - Book 1) (A House of Night Other World) :: Books 1-3 (The Bad Beginning; The Reptile Room; The Wide Window) :: The Grim Grotto (A Series of Unfortunate Events - Book 11) :: What Do You See? Board Book - Panda Bear

I bought this set for my niece's second birthday. Though it may not have been the most exciting present for her to receive/unwrap, her mom told me that it's one of the presents they have gotten the most use out of. My niece has pretty much memorized "Brown Bear" and is now learning some words from the other books as well. Great gift for any little kid!

My two year old daughter loves to look through these books and tell me what all the animals are and then what they say. In the brown bear, brown bear, she'll tell me the colors. It's also a pretty good deal that this is a set of three books.

These are absolutely the best books we have bought for our 3 little girls! My oldest (she's 3) read these in preschool [...]. They now are read every night and multiple times during the day. My 2 year old has even memorized them because of the fun little way they sound when read. You just can't go wrong with these books!

This is excellent for getting little ones started with "reading". They love saying the lines and/or making the sounds along with the story. My 1, 2 and 3 year olds have loved these Eric Carle books over the years.

As an educator, school librarian, mom and now grandmother, this is a perfect set to introduce those little minds, hands, eyes and ears to reading and books. Regardless of which title is the favorite from this set, your little one will love them. This makes a wonderful baby gift!!! Read to the babies...you will see how much they grow.........

The Panda Bear Panda Bear book has a missing page where the Green Sea Turtle picture ought to have been.
So the page before it reads "Spider Monkey, Spider Monkey, what do you see? I see a green sea turtle swimming by me." then instead of asking the Green Sea Turtle what it sees and naming the next animal, the following page reads "Macaroni Penguin, Macaroni Penguin what do you see?"
The sea turtle should definitely have been pictured since it is on the list of animals on the very last page. I am surprised none of the other reviewers mentioned this publishing defect, since it was so patently obvious to me on my first flip through. What's worse, the publisher didn't catch it and you would think they could at least proof read this once. So utterly disappointing.

My son LOVES this collection! Once he started pre-school, he was excited to hear his teachers read it to the class. The book size is perfect for little hands. And not to mention, it SURVIVED a dip in the tub! (with minimal damage)

I heartily recommend this purchase to anyone with an interest in stepping outside of themselves and coming to an understanding of the wider world around us.
