Loved (House of Night Other World series - Book 1) (A House of Night Other World)

Nowhere near as good as the series before. Should have just left things alone perhaps.

The writer was using several political references to Donald Trump as well that did not and should not have been in a book.
No matter what you read or hear....Trump is always inserted somewhere in it. In fact, politics seem to turn up regardless of what I'm reading, watching, or hearing.
I don't know whether this books cutsey Trump phrases were meant as funny, derogatory or something else....
I just rolled my eyes and groaned. No one can simply leave it alone. No one.
Gets old.

Hard for me to believe these teen kids run a huge school and organization. They're terribly immature.

I don't know....Just wasn't liking this very much.

If you can't cast a circle and keep your head clear and focused, then why are you doing it at all?
Zoey and her buddies are responsible for dozens and dozens of innocent deaths, yet nothing happens to them.
Just a massive clean-up and redecorating of the restaurant. How do you let this group make the big mistake they did, cause a lot of deaths, then they're not held responsible in some way? Even the cops did what Zoey told them to do.
The vamps from the other world feel so guilty that this is punishment enough? Lol
Very chaotic and strange.

This book didn't seem pulled together, or make too much sense.

The only thing I got from this was, it's too sad when someone dies, so we'll find a creative way to bring them back, then fix them, so they can live happily ever after.

This is one of my favorite series of all time.... It's what for me started enjoying reading in the first place. I am so ecstatic that she's adding on yo the series...my only complaint is that each book takes a year to come out! I read the book in a day , then have a long wait ahead of me :)

Loved coming back to all the characters and "completing" some of their storylines that didn't seem to tie up at the end of the original series. Honestly though, I hated the ending. Never liked Zoey and Heath together - just let him be dead already.
