on the tailcoat & namesake of Garden & Gun to embellish this book to be about the " love of dogs" ?
Evidently this author had a ghost writer in order to pass English Lit 101, as the intent of the title should indeed match the content- Basic 101.
This book is NOT for dog lovers- it contains stories about PEOPLE and their lives- and by the way
this or that happened to my dog- What a disappointment for $13.00 inc tax. !! Please don't waste your money when there are so many
GOOD books about the love for dogs out there. Wish I had known this UP-FRONT!

Adorable! I have rescued dogs for decades, hundreds of them. This book reminds me of of each of their furry faces. I have laughed so hard I've cried over the outrageous antics that remind me of my own adventures with my dogs. I have also cried real tears because I know all too well the pain of having to say goodbye to a peace of my heart, countless times. GREAT BOOK! I have always enjoyed the articles in the magazine, and this is just the best way to take it all in.

Purchased for a young grandchild who pick it out. I did not realize it's an adult book which most readers likely already know since it has Garden & Gun in large letters at the bottom of the cover. An adult would have been explaining many terms if I hadn't hidden it after I read it. But I'm thankful grandchild did pick it out and fortunate I read it first. Incredibly moving stories.
