What an impressive imagination Cidney Swanson has! Love this book and couldn't wait for the next, Chameleon. It pulls you into the story right away and it's difficult to put down. I highly recommend this series to adults as well as young adults. I quickly fell in love with the main characters Will, Mickie and Sam. It's great how Cidney wounds fun, humor, sorrow, intrigue, and suspense all in one book.

Decent writing and for those out there that are picky about formatting - this e-book was well-edited with no glaring spelling or grammar errors.
The story itself moved well and I look forward to reading the second book.

I knew immediately I would love the storyline as long as it was well written. And I was so happy to find that it was. The characters were well developed and the story flowed. The only spot that seemed a bit hurried...where I didn't get the full feeling of being right there with Sam...was at Merced when she was being interrogated and beaten. But maybe it was just me rushing through it too fast.
I have to say...the end came up way too quickly. I was settled in to see it through and "the end" came up. Can't wait to read the next one.

It is a good book, suspenseful and entertaining without resorting to crudeness often associated with modern authors. You can read this and immerse yourself into the story. A bit short, obviously designed to be the first part of a series by leaving some things unresolved.

Great book , love the rippler effect , very interesting. The secret has got to be kept , someone finding out would prove to be deadly. The little hints of romance tendencies between Sam and Will make you hope it will become reality. Can't wait to read the other two books to have the answers to all my questions.:)

This was quite an enjoyable read. The characters where well defined and likeable. The storyline kept my interest. And it wasn't predictable. I am genuinely looking forward to reading the rest of the Trilogy. It is pleasurable for young and old alike.I love it when I find a new author!I would definitely recommend the series to anyone who enjoys sci-fi/fantasy. Plus the author seems to take a personal interest in her fans. I emailed her and received a personal response, not some computer generated response by a pr firm or publishing house. That's a very nice touch.

Although this was a Young Adult story, I enjoyed it and found it kept my interest and made me want to read the next book in the series. Sam and Will are characters you care about, and they seemed real to life in their reactions and thoughts. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading and experiencing things outside the ordinary.

Though I read all the positive reviews before I downloaded the first book of the Ripple Trilogy, I was still surprised by how well I was dragged into this new world. It did take me a few pages to really get into the story, and figure out the point of view of the main character, but then I was hooked. I enjoy the slightly different take on an x-men type genetic abnormality and can't wait to find out more about the "bad guys" apart from the obscure journal entries! I also enjoy the description of the romance that is developing- and yes, continuous verb tense of 'developing' is accurate because the author does a great job of describing how slowly the two draw closer, and I SO look forward to seeing how they end up!

I really enjoyed this book. The characters acted rationally within the parameters the author set. I just bought the second book, and I'm looking forward to reading it. I also just bought the first book in Swanson's Mars series, and I'm looking forward to reading that one too.

This book was non stop page turning excitement. Love, Adventure, Curiosity, and an indescribable feeling of joy and wanting more. I absolutely love this book and I'm very excited to say that I will be recommending this book to anyone I come into contact with that loves to read as much as I do! I can't wait to read the next book! :-)

Different type of book with a different type of story line. Interesting, good characters, with enough mystery to keep you entertained. Tweens & young teens will especially like this series. Actually a good read for all ages. I'm a senior citizen and I enjoyed it.

Rippler was awesome. I could not put it down until I finished it. I have never finished a book in two days. It kept my curiousity going and my heart racing. So many questions and so many answers, but what will happen next I can't wait to read the next book. It kept me on my toes the entire time!
It had all that I like, mystery, science fiction, love, and family.
Great book!!!

Since I always rely on other people's reviews before I read a book, I thought it time to join the ranks. I'm not a terrible stickler for plausibility in book plots - I'm just looking to be entertained... and this book was very entertaining. A girl who suddenly discovers she can become invisible - not plausible. But, the places that can take your imagination makes it very entertaining! I found that I kept picking up this book at times when I don't normally sit down to read. It's very fast paced, which I like, but it spends some time on character development as well. Over all - it's worth the read. Looking forward to the next book in this series!

This series is well written and entices you to keep reading until the book is finished! Then go in search of the next two books in this trilogy, because life can't go on until you've read them all! I feel in love with many of the characters and their unique personalities. I will read anything this author writes, she's creative genius.

It was an interesting concept but the characters lacked death. It was good enough to keep reading, although I was disappointed with the ending. With a trilogy I always expect it to end in way way that propels me forward to the next book. I can honestly say I'm good stopping here.

Interesting subject and captivating storyline. I wanted to find out what happened to Sam and Will. Liked the way the story unfolds. Mickie was protective and her character was believable. Finished the book over a weekend. Probably will get the sequel!

Interesting concept...sometimes the dialogue was clumsy or repetitive...but mostly I enjoyed it. I did think the main character was dim-witted, not noticing or realizing things that were obvious to me as the reader.

I had gotten this book as a free download, figuring I'd get around to it after all the other books I'd downloaded. I ended up reading it when I'd finished one of my other books, and loved it. I ended up staying up until 2am reading it. Then, I wanted the rest of the series. And I am one who prefers free downloads to paying for books, whenever possible :)
The books were clean, the story line straightforward, and not over or under done, and the characters were engaging.
I would recommend this for young- to mid-teens to adult. There is just a hint of a relationship between a boy and a girl, but their interaction is minimal by most standards, and I tend to be on the conservative side :)
Definitely worth a read.

Loved the descriptions. It felt as if I was transposed into the story and was rippling in & out of my life to a calm relaxing place. I can't wait to read the next in the series this story took just a couple of hours to read.

Amazing story! Grips you from the beginning and hangs onto you! I couldn't help but fall in love with the characters, especially Micki, the overprotective sister. I can't wait to read the rest of the trilogy!

This story combines a love story and a mystery all into one. I read it in a hotel next to a flowing river which was very fitting for the story. I am interested to see what happens in France for the trio.

Enjoyed the story. Looking for book 2, chameleon, of the series. I've read many YA books to be sure they are appropriate for my children, and I have been pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed them.

I enjoyed this book. It is well written and thought out. Cidney Swanson has done a very believable job creating the characters of Samantha & Will and their relationship. The story line is well thought out, both the reviled and the hinted at and left me wanting more. The author took the time to get you involved with the characters as well landscape and area of the country without going overboard, a very good balance. I will definitely be reading the other books in this series.

I bought this book because my other two favorite authors are on break. I did not know if I would enjoy until I realized that after a few hours I was 50% of the way through it. Ignore the phone, order dinner in for the family. take your time in reading the book and hurry to continue the series.

I just finished reading Rippler and wanted to share how much I enjoyed it. Good characters, Sam is a very strong girl, Will is a teenage girl's dream boat, and Gywn is fun and quirky. There's just enough fantasy for me. Who hasn't wanted to become invisible at times?

I am enjoying reading this series (I am currently reading book 3). The premise is different and unique. The characters are interesting and I am enjoying the history (although kind of bleak) and the International flair. The love story does not take over the plot and is very sweet. I would recommend this series.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was easy reading, had a great plot, enough mystery to keep you guessing, and the end was good and suspenseful. I cannot wait to read the next 2 books in the series!

Well, apparently there is a gene disorder that makes u invisible and makes it so your body can pass through solid objects while giving people the "cold shoulder" literally. I was expecting more action out of this book because of this extraordinary ability few have that the public doesn't know about. I think it would have been cool if the ability worked like the Invisible Women's from the Fantastic Four in which case she can create an invisible force field that could be destructive when arched out past her, but that is not the case here in this novel.

I enjoyed this book. It has an intriguing premise - the main character can ripple, or disappear. I particularly enjoyed the exploration and growth in her powers. Tight, easy read. Should be fun to continue.

This book is different than any story I have read. Its about a girl named Sam that has had a really lonely life for the past 7 years. Just when she thinks life is looking up with 2 best friends and a great running team. Her life makes a drastic change. She figures out age has the ability to go invisible. With the help of her friend Will she starts to learn about the ability and discovers that many people with the same ability are being murdered. And she has to ask herself if shes next. I loved going on the journey with the characters and I cant wait to read the next
