These are short, easy to understand stories that are perfect for my six year old daughter to read. She may need a little help with a word here and there, but they are very good for a child starting first grade.

Our reading curriculum begins with a unit on friendship for next year. We begin the year with a study of frog's and toad's friendship. Two of the recommended books are in this collection. Purchasing a box collection saved me money. The box is a wonderful way to keep the books together. I like the three titles and know that my children will love them, too! I was pleased with how the books arrived. Both the condition and timeliness of arrival met my expectations!

Wonderful stories that my 3-year old loves. I was a little afraid she'd be turned off by the muted green/brown colors and simple story lines, but she really loves these books and requests them nightly at storytime.

This is a wonderful collection of books, perfect for my first grader to really get some reading practice. However, it was suggested to buy Frog and Toad are Friends along with the collection, stating that most people who buy the Collection also buy Frog and Toad are Friends. When I recieved the shipment I was disappointed to find that Frog and Toad are Friends is in the Collection. It would have helped to have the books in the Collection listed so I would have known to pick a different one.
