Blood Possession (Blood Curse Series Book 3)

Fantastic 3rd book! Looking forward to the next!

I have read the whole series from the beginning and I absolutely love it! The story line kept me interested from the first page! I would suggest reading this series from beginning to end, as I plan to!

Audiobook Review:

One of the most intense, dark, and suspenseful series in the paranormal genre I've come across.

Overview: Blood Possession is a dark and complex story that's both fascinating, and intense regarding a race of light and dark vampires who have been cursed for all times. The light vampires have been granted a few mercies within the curse, and as the light vampire's destined mate is revealed, he must fulfill and appease the curse within 30 days or suffer horribly. Good versus evil, as the dark ones plot revenge after revenge against the light vampires, and commit many atrocities against humanity.

Writing: This story was well thought out and written. Like the first two stories in the series, Blood Possession provides the right amount of details about the curse, and the vampire race without being too redundant. Because the book includes the right amount of information, it could be listened as a stand alone; however, the story is much richer, and more developed after listening to the first two stories.

Action/Suspense: From the beginning to the end, this plots full of action and suspense, which had my heart racing. I literally had to take breaks from listening due to some of the intense graphic scenes, but the story is very captivating and gripping, it brought me right back in for more. While this story was dark, intense, and downright brutal at times, it also has a softer side with several lighthearted scenes. It ends on a HEA, but with a cliffhanger that is setting the stage for the next book.

Characters: My favorite part of the story is the characters, and how they are developed throughout the series. I love the multiple POV's, because we get an insight to their thoughts and emotions. Oh, and the male characters are sexy, dominate, strong and very protective!

Romance/Sex: I found the romance to be on the mild side, but there are a few sex scene. I liked how Tessa used implied rape instead of providing in-depth details. Because they were implied, these scenes did not take away from the true romance between Napoleon and Brooke.

Narration: WOW! Eric has an amazing voice! It's rich and deep, and his talent really shines through when he sings! His voice, combined with the intense plot, really made this an excellent audiobook to listen too.

If you like dark paranormal stories with a complex plot that's full of action, suspense, and a little romance, then this story will not disappoint. Due to the nature of the content, I would only suggest this story to mature readers (PG+17.) Not recommended for those who do not like violence or the faint of heart.

Napoleon Mondragon - the ruler of house of Jadon is shocked when the blood moon reveals his destiny has been chosen. The timing could not be any more turbulent as the problems with House Jager continue to build after the devastation brought down upon the Dark One's house while rescuing Ciopouri from their network of underground caverns.

Poor Brook Adams - she is having a rough day after a disastrous presentation at a conference and now the blood moon and a cab ride she and her best friend will never forget!

Nachari becomes lost in the planes of hell, tortured by the demon twin of Andromeda while his brothers hold vigil trying to find a way to return his soul to his body being maintained on life-support.

Another great installment from Tessa Dawn - I give this one a solid 4.5 stars.

Tessa Dawn is an amazing author. She weaves the most magical stories. In this book the most sexy, lethal alpha male of them all the vampire king Napoleon meets his destined mate who has a terrifying. Napoleon once again is locked in a battle of good versus evil when his body is possesed to save not only hs life, his mates life, and quite possibly the existence of his people. Also in the mix the blood curse, a adolesent vampire who is overly anxious to test out his new powers and vampre hunters who do not descrimate between killing good or bad vampires. All of this coming together to make one fantastic read.

to all those who love a vampire series with a real bite!!!

Just when I thought I couldn't possibly love this series anymore Tessa Dawn proved me wrong! Book 2 left me dying to read book 3. The day Blood Possession was released I had it downloaded and proceeded to immerse myself in Napolean's story. I loved reading about Napolean's sad past. I loved seeing the more vulnerable side of the leader of the light brothers. The curve ball thrown at me left me staring at the last page in disbelief that again I had to wait for the next book, but in a good way. You honestly can't go wrong with this series!

Napoleon is the King amongst all Vampires and with that title comes serious responsibilies and fears that he must hide, for he must govern his people with an iron fist but show loyalty and compassion when the time comes.
This series is delicious dark and oh so deadly I can not recommend this series enough! Bravo Tessa Dawn!

I really wanted to love this book. I really did, but I was somewhat disappointed. I was looking forward to Napolean's story immensely. I felt like he was short changed in this book. It seemed as if only about 1/3 of this book focused on Napolean and his destiny, Brooke. I think that there were too many points of view going on here to fully flesh out Napolean and Brooke's characters and relationship. There was such potential to really, really, pull on your heartstrings with this couple. But in my opinion it just fell short. There was very little time spent on Napolean and Brooke as a couple. By the end of the book we are to believe that they are in love but I just didn't see the necessary relationship build up to buy into that. A lot of this book was used to set up the next book which is Nachari's story. I look forward to it and hope that a majority of the book will focus on the relationship with his destiny and less of all of the side stories going on. With that being said I just felt that Napolean, The King and leader of the House of Jadon deserved more for his story!

I really loved this book! Unbelievable series. Unbelievable author! She is one of my favorites and I will read whatever she writes. Each of the books are full of suspense and action and very hot vampires! Whenever I start each book, I have to read it til I'm done because it is too good to put it down.

In this book the development of the characters is unexpected, not only Napoleon shows a diferent face,Nachari and Branden grows and reach a new level. Also is pleasant to know that the females maybe left the image of fragile flower and becomes more active in theirs personal defense. Well i can't wait for the next book
