Sorry, but helpless heroines subjected to physical abuse is not something I'm into. Overall, the writing was decent, but I just can't appreciate this misogynistic world where my heroine grovels on her knees for most of the book.

My God Tessa Dawn is a genius with an imagination 2nd to none. The twists throughout the story so totally blindsided me I had to take a smoke break and I’m not kidding. Nothing and I mean nothing was remotely predictable. Every corner had a surprise.
We all know she favors the vamps as she shows us in Blood Curse so Dragon Realm took me by surprise. This is a must have read and what a perfect introduction to her up and coming series Patheon of Drgaons. Tessa Dawn has done it again! Dragons Realm is amazing from the character development, the suspenseful twists & turns of the story, the detailed world she created for this amazing story! If you love dragons, magic, and a strong story, then you will not be disappointed in this book! Read and enjoy!!!

The idea was actually intriguing, but the main characters were so unlikeable, I couldn't get into the book. I just couldn't believe the romance between the hero and heroine. The story was predicable with one twist, but it wasn't enough to redeem the rest of the book. Not the worst book I've ever read, but really not worth the $5.99 I spent.

Once again, Tessa delivers an enthralling tale of dragons, creatures and a heroine that tugs at your heart. Each time I read one of Tessa's books, it captivates and pulls me in to the point that I can't put it down. She's a creative genius and I can not wait for the next thrilling tale.

I felt transported back to romance books I used read back in HS, so I would classify it as young adult.
