The Joys and Science of the New Grandparenting - Becoming Grandma

being a grandmother myself, I found this book right on point and wish I had written it. It is warm and loving and so true for most grandparents although not all as Lesley Stahl pointed out. For those who have not experienced the things we have, they are at a mightly deep loss as there is NOTHING like the love of a grandchild and a grandparent----NOTHING.

I am totally loving this book. For the past year and a half I have had so many feelings since the birth of my grandson and I could not quite figure out when I was feeling. So many things and feelings and Lesley's book hit spot on. Can't wait to share what I have learned with my daughter, my family and friends.? Love ?

If you are a grandparent, you will find this book informative, interesting, well-researched. It's amazing to know why you feel the way you do about your grandchildren, especially if it's that you're over-the-top crazy about them.

This was delightful:) Often humorous, it reveals the many surprises that a grandchild brings to their new family, all the while, a circle of life is taking place, and how women of all ages juggle the events of that circle.

Excellent!! Anyone who is, or may become, a Grandma should read this. Even if you are presently just a Mom you should read this book. Lesley covers a wide scope, and many views of what it is like to "be a grandma".
