Partners

It was a good quick read. Disappointed when I realized this was re-published last year. It originally came out in the 1980's. Having read many of Nora Robert's books, it was pretty predictable, but the characters drew me in.

As usual, Nora Roberts keeps you so engrossed in her books that it is hard to put them down. Partners is romantic, funny and just good reading! She is one of my favorite authors for a very long time. I don't know how she writes so many, so fast and makes them worthwhile and fun to read!

starting up with some interest - the story flags - and finally ends on a disappointing and uneasy note.Readers are left wondering what exactly was the pint of the plot, and why ever time should be spent so wastefully.

Such a disappointment, since most of the books by Nora Roberts provide such entertaining stories and with a gripping plot-line.

Partners was a typical Nora Roberts book , a combination of romance and mystery. There is a conflict at the beginning between the two main characters, Matthew and Laurel. A relationship develops between them as they work on a big story they are working on for the newspaper where they are both working.

I have always enjoyed Nora Roberts books. Even though this was a reprint it had very interesting characters. The romance was just enough to keep you interested but not overbearing. Rhe book was one of her first books and you can tell because she went on to write some masterful suspense and romance novels.

Who doesn't love Nota Roberts? She is an excellent author of romance.Besides romance there is a mystery and
A storyline. She gets your curiosity right away and you are already intrigued to solve the mystery yourself. with each book she writes she weaves a new story each time so you never get bored.

Partners was fine for an afternoon read (4 stars), but I liked her Boonsboro trilogy best, for 5 stars, and her MacKades' quad, even better, although read in almost backward order. (Shane, Rafe, Devin, then Jared). I'll leave them on the Kindle and maybe revisit them in the right order in a few years.

Really enjoyed the book...hopefully there will be a sequel.
It keep me interested and wanting to see where there relationship goes and can build on they are both in the same business (newspaper)...great reading
